This is my second location I have visited and so far I feel they really have a good plan and system in place for all reservations. It was quick and easy getting started with our team. We logged in and off we went to enjoy all the virtual games. The staff here was also really helpful and friendly, the food was hot and fresh. I really enjoyed this location too as it was easy and conveniently off the freeway so an easy place to visit. Lots of charging stations for those EV people too. First time here and already with the capacity rules in the area itself for a party my friend was hosting for his son that we can congregate (inside) the table area, we're not blocking the walk way due to "Fire hazard" so me and my crew of Adults cane to the bar area for the staff's sake, ordered some drinks and still be waiting for 3 simple drinks for several minutes (it's not packed) at the bar area .. We came to Topgolf for family time and ordered a bunch of food and drinks. During our entire visit, all of the bays around us were empty. When our golf time was up but our food wasn't finished, I was still feeding my toddler her burger. The waitress repeatedly came over and told us our time was up and that we had to stop eating and leave -- even though there were still plenty of empty bays nearby. We were maybe 5-10 minutes past our golf time, and in the past when we've visited, we were always allowed to finish the food we paid for. This time, they even assigned another family to our spot while we were still sitting there. It was humiliating. We spent hundreds of dollars and were even considering a membership, but after this experience we won't be returning. read more

Came to Top Golf over the weekend with a group of 5. We made a "reservation" online first and even paid a 25% deposit for 90 mins. Though it says to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation time, our group ran a little late and it appeared thru the email system that our by would be ready by our reservation time at 9pm. When we walked in to check in, we told the front desk we had a bay # already, and they said we could just go up to it. We walked up to our bay exactly around 9pm. (Note: 100's are first floor, 200's are second floor, and 300's are third floor). Once we walked up to our bay, our server was Steven. We were trying to get logged/registered in to the TopGolf system. Our group chose to pay for one person's lifetime membership ($5) and just use one person's account to play. We then noticed that we only had ~70-ish mins. available left on the screen. We asked Steven what happened and he ended up looking into it for us. Our group didn't want to be charged for 90 mins. if we were only allowed to play for ~70 mins. Anyway, after a lot of back-and-forth that felt like it ate up at least 10-15 mins. of our play time, Steven was able to make sure we only paid for the time we used and settle our bill. Honestly, I think their online reservation system needs to be updated somehow or made to be more clear...If their system sends out the confirmation email around 15 minutes before your reservation time and you confirm, it starts to count your time at the bay at that time! That's a bit ridiculous. I know their website states to arrive 10-15 mins. early, but our time should literally start when we get there, not when you press "confirm" on the email. All this to say, thank you to Steven for helping our group figure out our charges...My group & I just think there's room for improvement with the online reservations or it should be made clear that your time starts once you "confirm" the email. Anyway, we had fun as a group. They've got different games you can play on screen in addition to just a normal driving range. We played "Angry Birds" on the TV screen which was actually pretty fun. Food & drink are available, though I didn't pay attention to the price...Their Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini was good, and I only had a bite of the Buffalo Chicken Nachos, which were meh (nothing to rave about). Restrooms are available on each floor. You can also request for left-handed clubs (if needed). Parking lot is free & huge. I do think 120 mins. (2 hours) is probably better for groups of 4 or more people. I'm just not sure how soon again we'd come because if online reservation system has the above issues & walking in has 1+ hour wait, I don't know if I'd want to deal with it again... read more

Topgolf is a fun place for a gathering of friends! Each bay can have up to 6 players and they have ample comfortable seating for your group. The servers were nice and always offered us water and even helped clean up the birthday cake we brought in and let us use their utensils with no complaints. Tons of parking and really clean! One huge complaint however, they REQUIRE you to enter your phone number in order to be added as a player on the screen. (It's mandatory, if you're not on the screen it defeats the purpose.) And if you've never been to a Topgolf and you're entering your number for the first time YOU WILL BE CHARGED 5$ just for being a new player. This place is already not cheap and we've already paid for the games but you're basically tacking on an additional 5$ for not having your phone number already in their system? I'm so confused, like what is the point? It's like paying cover charge for a club but need to pay extra 5$ just to order a drink if it's your first time there. I asked a server why do we need to pay 5$ if we've never been to a Topgolf and she says verbatim "Oh just in case" and I ask her "Just in case of what?" and she mumbled something and walked off. I don't blame the servers at all for this terrible policy. Awesome new Topgolf location in Montebello, right off the 60 freeway. This facility is new, and a very welcomed addition to the SGV. We took advantage of the half-off deal on Monday and it was great. Three stories tall, wide open layout, huge projection of sports games on, at least three bars, and they serve food as well. Being a lefty, they also had left-handed golf clubs to borrow. At night it's really cool because the field is lit up against the night sky. I will say that the drinks are pretty weak, I got the mango daiquiri and it was soda and syrup with very little alcohol. My friend warned me about this, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. Probably better to stick to beer next time. They don't have happy hour yet, but the server helping us said they might in the future. For now, they have a deal for $20 per person from open to 12PM on weekdays. Tons of EV charging stations and parking spots. Merch available right next to the registration desk. Floors of gold bays, perfect for large groups, dedicated waiter(s). All food and drinks ordered during the time in the bay is added to one bill but can be paid on multiple cards at the end. Individual bars with plenty of seating on each floor and on the main floor. Top Golfin' in LA....I've been waiting for this to be closer to us! Definitely a fan of the concept. Interestingly this location felt more like a club ( bump & grind / pump your fists) vs. a driving range with good food and amateurs. Even more interesting is that it sits next to an actual golf course and resort. Fancy that! Reservations are absolutely necessary. If you're thinking about walk- ins, anticipate a long wait especially in on weekends. So reserve wayyyyy in advance if you are interested. Parking: plenty. They even have Tesla chargers at the site! Free parking, thankfully! Ambiance: Think country club x bowling alley x club. Being a date, bring your family during the day time when there is light out. Music is SO loud. It's blasting through the place .. especially the restroom. Security: it feels like they have extra security here... I'm not sure if that makes anyone else feel some typa way but they're visibly there so in case anything pops off... I anticipate a speedy response. Pro tip: they have hand sanitizers against the back windows. Use them. Or bring your own wipes. Food: Surprisingly pleasant. Loving the Chicken Taksu sliders and the flat bread.Tater tots got me sold. Getting food was a bit slow tho... So I suggest to order first thing when you get there otherwise you'll be waiting a long time. Water Bottles: From my understanding, you're not allowed to bring your own water bottle... We went to Topgolf to celebrate a friend's birthday party and we reserved three bays. This location is conveniently located right off the 60 freeway. They had tons of parking and even ChargePoint for EV charging. There were different game modes, there were a variety of golf clubs to choose from (including left handed ones), and we were able to order food and drinks outside instead of needing to go inside to do so. Inside, there were large TVs with multiple levels of tables and bars. Overall we had a fun time and even if you're not playing golf it's a great place to socialize and enjoy other's company. read more

This is the only top golf I only ever have problems with due to food tasting horrible, service being very unprofessional, and to top it, when I told the 2 workers standing there to have a good night, they looked me down and up then proceeded to look away. This was my first experience at topgolf and it by far exceeded any expectation I had. As we got to the front desk to check in for our reservation the guy at the counter was super helpful and nice. We mentioned how this was our first time and gave us a run down of how things worked and where everything is laid out. We were offered to have a seat in the bar while our bay was ready for us. It was less than a 10 minute wait and we were called up to our spot. Everything was super nice and clean and the touch screens were very helpful to understand how topgolf worked as two newbies to the hobby lol. The service was quick and efficient our server was very patient as we hadn't even looked at the menu when she stopped by to ask if we wanted anything. We had dinner before coming here so we only ordered dessert but it was still very yummy. There is soooo much parking here and I can see why, this place is huge. I actually love this location! We usually go to El Segundo but this is my new favorite location! Our waitress was Stephanie P. And she was extra attentive and made our first visit here a pleasure! We initially booked for 90 min and ended up extending for a total 3 hours and tried almost everything on the menu. I love that the staff came out to wish my son a happy birthday, I don't recall having this in the past at other location so I'm not sure if it's just this location or if it's new. But it absolutely made our visit more special. The wings are delicious here, as are the Macaroni balls. They did credit us for the donut holes since we ordered it but it was their birthday treat that was nice as this isn't always the case at other places. They'd bill you for the original order and grant you the extras to go, so I'm happy they did that for us. Thank you! I also love the location, it's right off the fwy! Absolute corruption! We bought the Summer Pass, but it's nothing more than a scam. Always have to wait, this time it was about an hour, so we went upstairs to wait. After about 15 minutes of waiting for our bay, 2 bays opened up, so I went downstairs to ask if we could have one. The manager immediately said the bays were reserved, without asking what numbers. Here's the rub, when we finally got a bay (about 35 minutes later) it was just a few away from the 2 empty ones. I watched both of the above mentioned bays. After we played for 2 hours, those two bays were still empty as we left. Food is terrible, literally the worst kind of bar food imaginable, and prices suck. It appears that staff has been told to provide limited services to the Summer Pass holders, your food goes cold before they bring you any silverware. Now someone wants me to contact them. Why? Do they want to give me some free crappy food to make it all better? News flash - this is exactly what you have instructed your staff to do to Summer Pass holders, make them feels like second class citizens, how are you going to make that better? My work dept decided to have our Team building day here thanks to me and I have to say it was fun!! The food was good and the only issue was the service. We had a party 10 and our servers didn't write anything down and of course some of the orders were wrong and a few dishes were never served. Our drinks never got refilled and our finished plates just sat there :/. I felt bad since I suggested Top Golf. It may have been a lack of training for the servers I'm guessing We won't be returning. Ive never picked up a golf club in my life. I also definitely never thought it would be through a company event that it would be my first time to do so. We managed to rent out 4 booths and have buffet served for us. Its a great location for company events. There are lots of parking and a variety of games you can pick and play from their computers. What impressed me was the technology they used to trach each ball from each booth and display it accurately on each screen. The clubs were easily identifiable for your needs, and although the pros would prefer different gear, it was very good for a first-timer like me. Its important to have good friends with varying skill levels with you, too - it really makes a difference. There are lots of parking, has a large space to go around to eat or relax; ample seating for the group and also good food. After my team's visit, we're definitely planning a bigger event here with the whole company. read more

My first time at Topgolf Montebello was okay, but I'd only give it 3 out of 5 stars. The bartender, Adam T., was great at the bar--friendly and quick. But when we moved to our bay, things got confusing. Even though we were told we didn't need to close out, we had to open a new tab at the our bay, which was annoying. Our server, Dulce, started off nice, but as the night went on, we felt rushed and ignored. When we asked for water at the end, it seemed like a hassle for them. Maybe because it was towards the end of the night and they need to sit people after us but it still made the experience unpleasant. Overall, we didn't feel great about the service. Topgolf is a cool place, but they need to sort out these issues. Hopefully, they'll improve things soon. read more

Very disappointed with the office event I just had here. I planned a 10 person event, for which I payed a flex package price. It's supposed to include "preferred location", and I specifically added a comment that said I wanted top floor which was the 3rd floor. First, we waited 10 minutes past the start time to get seated. Mind you our reservation was at 11am and barely any people were there. Then they told me that they could not sit us on the third floor because it was closed so they had to sit us on the second floor. Interesting because a "Montebello Sales Consultant" Jordan helped me plan this but of course, the people at Top Golf said that there was no Jordan working there, at all. They had no idea who I was referring to even after I showed them emails. Soo I was just more confused. Next, they sat us in back-to-back couches so the dynamic was a bit off since we were seated back-to-back with half the office. There was no reason to pay for this "preferred location". Next I told them to change my package to the standard because that was basically what we were getting and they said that they could but I would forfeit my deposit. Just a horrible experience, a headache to be honest. Thankfully I didn't splurge on a more expensive event there for my team because it would have been a waste due to how they're running this place. UPDATE/ I could not select nor speak to someone at the venue. They can call me but I can't respond to their yelp message. I have not spoke to anymore that works at the venue in person regardless of everything that has Happened. Weird. Not easy to ahold of them to explain what exactly happened.
