We dropped into the Toppled Turtle while road tripping back to our home and certainly did not regret it. It is a little awkward going through the brewery and then through the bathroom hallway to order pizza, but it was worth it! I had the Jack-Lemon Shandy from the brewery, which I find to be light and refreshing and the BBQ chicken pizza, which had some heat but a lovely crunch from the carrots and onions. Everyone was nice and there was a little play area, which our toddler loved. They also had live music, which was quite enjoyable. If we ever make it back to Dumas, I'd love to stop back in for another beer and pizza! read more

My wife and I, along with our 3 kids (5, 2, 5 mo), stopped in Dumas on our way from San Antonio to Colorado. Yelp reviews are sparse for any restaurants in Dumas. We noticed they had a play area for the kids and a glowing review from another family making their way thru town for a ski trip. I was welcomed by the bartender as I entered with our two oldest kids. The bar and dining area is modern and extremely clean. Thru the door in the back that leads to another door where pizza is ordered. There was a very clean dining area with metal tables and chairs. We ordered one large pizza 1/2 LEO and 1/2 RAF. Sizes here are smaller than a "normal" pizza place. The large was 14", which is more like a normal medium pizza (this is not a complaint, it's just good to know so that you can gauge how much pizza you need.) All the beers on tap (have to order from the bar), are locally brewed. We tried their wheat beer and a just released (or seasonal?) IPA. Both were good. The IPA ended up being a bit sweet for me, but perfectly acceptable. The pizza was great. Crust was on the thin side a (in my opinion) the perfect blend of crispy and chewy. The sauce had a bit of a spicy kick to it (we think ). The ingredients seemed fresh and quality. My wife was not a huge fan of the bacon, but not because it was bad, just preference. Pizza was $24 and drinks were $17 with a generous tip. We'll definitely stop by our next trip thru town. read more

The Pizza is in the back, they will direct you when you walk through the door. The beer is great! Asked for a Bock and Stout, and they were very good brews! There are food trucks in the back also. Great place! read more

I'm in the process of moving to Dumas and this was my first stop. I loved the laid back atmosphere and excellent service, everyone was so friendly. Went next door and ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was delicious (forgot to take a picture). There was also a band setting up as we were leaving, definitely will be back! read more

Visited this cute brewery coming from Pueblo CO on my way to Dallas TX. Staff in both the brewery and pizzeria were both friendly and helpful. This is a dog friendly establishment on the brewery side and on the fenced in patio. That's a double plus if you have littles that want "freedom" while you enjoy an adult conversation. read more
