I bought a vacuum from them almost 10 years ago and it recently stopped turning on. I called and they said to bring it and they would take a look. It turned out to be a battery in the handle. They replaced it at NO CHARGE! There service then and now is incredible! read more

Before I even started walking across the parking lot John I believe he is the owner came to meet me & carry my vacuum. Wow. It is a small canister. Nice man, cracking jokes. The vacuum is older than dirt( no pun intended) Needed a new plug. Had it done in 24 hrs!! Fair price. Dropped off my Hoover upright. Another oldie. Needs belts. He's honest & I trust him. read more

Worse customer service I have ever experienced from a Brother and Handi Quilter Dealer. They forget the customer is responsible for their paycheck. Only one person in all the Tops stores can schedule Handi Quilter service, not a good business decision. I'm done; they are not the only dealer in the state, or I'll order online. Don't like the service but the people they have teaching classes are very knowledgeable. In reply to Celcelia - yes Tops did try to contact me, however, person calling left voice mail saying I couldn't call them back because she was out of office. I'm sorry I have a life and was not sitting by the phone waiting on Tops to return my call. Did the party tell you how many times I kept calling them? The only reason I received a call on Aug 7th is because I reached out to Greg and the party called me back. read more

What impressed us the most about Tops was the customer service as well as their great selection of Miele vacuums. My wife and I own a local residential cleaning business here in Naples and we now purchase all of our equipment from Tops. I dropped off my older model sewing machine for a general service. They had it ready so quickly and the gentleman that I dropped it off with was very nice. It works wonderfully. They would have had a 5 star review had the man who delivered my machine to me at the counter not delivered his insult of my machine, in what I can only assume was his very poor attempt at sales. When I asked if everything was okay with the service, he answered "as well as an be expected given that machine". When I asked him to explain he mentioned again what an old model it was. I found myself defending my property. There was nothing indicating any problems on the ticket. Not a very good way to build relationships. When he brought out my old machine I was browsing the Miele section. I'll not make my purchase here. I want to repeat they did a wonderful job and my machine is working splendidly. read more

Had difficulty threading an older serger so sought help at Vac and Sew in Naples. $139 later was told it cant be fixed but was given the threaded machine back. The young man after much coercion was unsuccesful at rethreading the machine on demo to me and wanted me to buy a new serger for $1500. was rude and did I say rude. I then took the machine to another repair who immediately said no repairs needed and showed me how to thread the machine correctly. My experience with vac and sew leaves me with impression they are unethical and dont know what they are doing. Beware! read more

If you need a sewing machine repair, I don't recommend this business. After turning down an offer to upgrade to one of their reconditioned machines, I paid for service to mine. I just needed a simple machine for routine repairs and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I had to take it back three times because the thread broke repeatedly while I sewed. I was often told that the problem was the thread I am using, then it was the thread cap size, then it was me as a sewer--all user error. At first, the problem wouldn't happen, then when the thread finally broke while the staff member sewed, the answer was next that mine was an inferior machine and I'd have to live with it. And oh, why not upgrade? In the shop, I continually heard offers to upgrade. I think they are more interested in selling machines than fixing them. I think they cater to more sophisticated users who embroider, etc. When a repair person always leads with "user error," there is no service orientation. read more

GREAT customer service!! I purchased a sewing machine from Tops a few years ago. If I have a question, they are right there to help. I have gone into the store many times for assistance on how to use my machine, and they take the time to demonstrate the answer on my sewing machine. I also needed some needles for my machine and was not able to go into the store. I was given curbside service with a smile. They take care of their customers, and I highly recommend Tops!! read more

Could it be because I was only asking questions and I live in the northeast so he knew I was not buying a high ticket item? Why did the second salesperson who was well versed in my brand of sewing machine stop in mid sentence to help another customer with an attachment? Used to be a wonderful store. Now, the customer service is terrible, the staff changes too often to have any continuity when it comes to repair issues. The sales people are sometimes rude and in my opinion the only thing that means anything is getting the sale. It's all about putting money in their pocket.
