The first portion of the store contained Petoskey rocks, along with other random souvenirs. The middle of the store had mainly clothes and sunglasses for women and the back of the store was fill with sailboat and lighthouse decor. This is definitely a great souvenir shop to stop by and grab a Petoskey stone, if you've never seen one or have one.

I went into the store to get ice and water for a 1/2 Gallon Water Jug. This really rude Jerk yelled at me "Don't even think of filling that Jug with Soda Pop" I don't drink Pop. I just drink water. I was trying to put ice in my Jug. I could here one solid junk of ice in the machine. I only got a few shavings in my jug. The person that I believed to be the owner of the store told me that I would have to pay for a bag of ice if I put ice in my 1/2 gallon Jug. I thought I saw the person that I perceived to be an owner go out a side door. I headed out the side door to show him that I only got a few shavings of ice and thus I would not be paying for a bag of ice. He yelled at me from within the store. He thought I was leaving and stealing a jug full of ice. The Jerk banned me from the Store and told me to never return. It would have cost me over $100.00 to fill my Fuel Tank. I left with 1/8 tank of fuel and made it to Mancelona. I had a wonderful meal at Mancelona BP and filled my Fuel Tank. I find Irony for being banned from a Store that I live 150 miles away from.

Every time I visit Charlevoix I have to stop in here and get me a few souvenir T-shirts and…read moresweatshirts. The owner Kirby keeps a very tidy, clean and well stocked store. I've nicknamed this store my upscale souvenir clothing store because it sets itself apart from your typical souvenir clothing store. They only carry clothing btw. The quality is average to more upscale. J America is my favorite brand especially in sweatshirts at this store. They carry more embroidered Charlevoix clothing which I much prefer versus just the stamped decal cheap style. The prices are reasonable and the service has always been excellent. The only problem I had this recent visit was some of the t-shirts and sweatshirts I liked fit bad and came from a third world country which had strange cuts and very boxy styles. Hubby and I still found plenty of clothing to buy in the store regardless. Other than that I would give it 5 stars. They do carry clothing made in the USA and a few other countries which I don't mind as long as the fit is normal.
