Came here today for lunch and had a great experience. I've been in Japan for the past week and a half so it was nice to get some Mexican food! I asked for the biggest margarita they had and my server delivered! It was a little on the sweet side but was still delicious. We got the cheese dip to start which was super delicious also. For entrees my friend got a chicken dish and I got the birria tacos. The tacos came with 3 tacos and rice/beans and lettuce/guac. The plate was huge and definitely worth the price. They double wrap the tacos which I liked so it helps them not to fall apart but can be a bit more filling. Our server was very nice and took great care of us. Excellent lunch after Christmas holiday! We stopped by on a Monday, near 11:30 am, in and out. Excellent service, wonderful staff, so welcoming, everyone is truly made to feel like FAMILY! We will be back. This is the wnd location we visited. The Michelada had a candy stick that made me weep with joy - tamarin straw with tajin. Had it with dark modelo. I wanted more " tomatoe" flavor, so I poured in their salsa from the chips. It was bomb good! Omg! Shut the door. Excellent lunch menu, great prices, fresh rice!. Huge menu, too much to choose from. This is authentic Mexican food, we ordered the Mojarra (whole snapper which we don't typically see at a Mexican restaurant) and carne asada tacos, I couldn't even close them! Stopped into this Mexican restaurant for lunch and it was okay. They have very affordable lunch specials for decent size entrees for less than $14. They serve you complimentary chips (fresh) and salsa. The salsa needs work as it tastes like ketchup? Odd consistency but not a deal breaker. I ordered the carnitas fajitas and it was delicious. The pork, peppers, and onions were very flavorful and not dry. It comes with refried beans, rice, three tortillas and a plate of accoutrements. I also ordered a Chardonnay and they definitely give you a healthy size pour! Our server was very attentive and cheerful. Love the ambiance this Mexican restaurant has. It is truly a cozy atmosphere. Margarita comes in different flavors are strong and comes with an extra shot. As for the food elote was delicious but all the other entrees seem to fall flat. My chicken quesadilla was so soft and limp that all the chicken fell out so I had to dissect it and eat it with the fork. The fajitas were good m, but had better. The enchiladas had small balls of meat that were interesting. The size portion was huge but the flavor lacked. Still fighting to get a refund for the undelivered items ($20.00). Supposedly the manager was going to call me back but never did. Door dash denied my claim for reimbursement! I cannot believe I have not written a review for this place in spite of being here, probably just under a dozen times! This has to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area that I have ever been to. It is always crowded as it is a great place for families and friends to visit. They have a fully stocked bar and for those who enjoy their drinks, they all seem to rave about the Mojitos! The wifey and me both foodies and teetotalers!! We came here last weekend as we were in the mood for some authentic Mexican food and as usual, we were not disappointed. The service has always been spot on an excellent and all the dishes we have tried have been delicious, and the portions are more than generous. The last time I tried the Pollo Fundido and the wifey tried the three taco combination, and once again the taste did not disappoint at all! As you can see from the pictures, the portions of more than generous!! The prices of a reasonable and you definitely get a bang for your buck over here. This place was recommended by a friend of mine. I always like trying new restaurants and we thought my family and I would give it a try. I like the environment, the music was loud enough to hear and for you to have your own conversation. The chips they give you when you come in are nice and warm and you get your own salsa so you don't share with anyone so you can double dip all you want hahah. The food in general is good and really good portions and tasteful. Really disappointed in this place. We used to come here all the time and took a break and came back Friday. We ordered 2 meals. My meal came out first and my husband didn't come out at all. After 5 mins and he never got his food I asked they remake mine so it would be hot when we got his. His took another 15 Minutes so I'm glad I asked. When they brought my meal out with his you could tell they just reheated the original meal as it was then dried out and the tortillas were burnt. Torero's Mexican Grill has been in business for more than 20 years and they have two locations, this one in Coconut Creek and another one in Lake Worth. I had off from school one day and decided to stop by for lunch. I loved the cozy ambiance when I walked in the door. They have booths along the wall and tables in the center of the room with beautiful wooden chairs. The warm terra cotta colored walls were decorated with Mexican art. The menu is multiple pages of fajitas, enchiladas, burritos, and meat and seafood dishes. There also salads, bowls, soups, grande plates, and American favorites along with a full bar serving cocktails, beer, and wine. The extensive menu has something for everyone. They also have a lunch menu which I appreciated and ordered from. While I liked most aspects of this restaurant the service could have been improved on my visit. I don't know if it was because I was alone but I felt ignored. I saw baskets of complimentary chips and salsa going out to other tables as soon as they sat down but I had to request mine and wait a long time to order. For lunch I indulged in their steak fajitas., The sizzle of the hot skillet as it arrives at the table is always a welcoming sound setting the stage for a feast of flavors. The steak fajitas were impeccably cooked, with the meat perfectly seasoned and grilled to tender perfection. The sizzling platter included a lunch sized portion of succulent steak strips, sautéed onions, and colorful bell peppers, topped with a raw tomato creating a vibrant and appetizing display. The aroma alone was enough to whet my appetite. The steak was of high quality, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp, contributing to a blend of textures. The fajitas were served with warm tortillas, allowing me to create my own delicious wraps. Rice and refried beans accompanied the meal in their own crunchy taco shell boats. The food was delicious and a good value from the lunch portion menu. While I liked what I ordered and the atmosphere of the restaurant I haven't been back. The cold and spotty service has stuck in my mind and prevented me from returning. read more

Decided to try Torero's after reading reviews on line. The menu offered an amazing selection of Mexican dishes. I had Tacos Al Carbon with refried beans, rice and guacamole. It was delicious. I've lived in Mexico City and I am not crazy about American style Tacos. These were very good. My husband had the Maxo Burrito. It was huge and delicious! We also had Guacamole. Delicious! Food was not good I ordered the combo platter and the tostada and hard shell taco were soggy. The meat had to have been too wet to make the hard shell taco soggy. In addition, the ground beef was not flavorful. The chicken enchilada was the best of the bunch Salsa and chips were ok Both could have been better. This was my first visit to Torero's during a visit to my old home grounds. Wow! It was excellent! A large group of friends got together for a reunion and we were treated wonderfully! The place is festive looking and our table was set and ready even though I got there early! We were not rushed into giving our orders because there was so much catching up to do. The server was terrific! The food was great. The lunch special was the macho burrito- a huge tortilla filled with choice of meat- steak, ground beef or chicken ( my choice) choice of beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes and corn and I think I left something out! It would have been my choice even if it weren't the special and I loved it! Topped with cheese, it was scrumptious and huge. I took the second half home and enjoyed it the next day! Other orders were a fajita bowl, a taco salad, and fajitas. Everything was delish. Some folks got the margarita special and loved those also. Next time I come to town I will definitely be back. I hate to do this because Toreros is literally my favorite restaurant. I always tell people on FB how it is the best service you will ever receive. Today is a first, this *sshole waiter (the only one in jeans when everyone else was in slacks) thought he was too tough and didn't do anything except flirt with the other waitress. Managers constantly picking up his slack, everyone else working their behinds off, and the kid laughs when told something like he's so busy.
