This is authentic Mexican food, we ordered the Mojarra (whole snapper which we don't typically see at a Mexican restaurant) and carne asada tacos, I couldn't even close them! That's how full they were and extremely flavorful. Drinks were on point, Paloma and Michelada. Nicely decorated and clean, great family place.

Stopped into this Mexican restaurant for lunch and it was okay. They have very affordable lunch specials for decent size entrees for less than $14. They serve you complimentary chips (fresh) and salsa. The salsa needs work as it tastes like ketchup? Odd consistency but not a deal breaker. I ordered the carnitas fajitas and it was delicious. The pork, peppers, and onions were very flavorful and not dry. It comes with refried beans, rice, three tortillas and a plate of accoutrements. I also ordered a Chardonnay and they definitely give you a healthy size pour! Our server was very attentive and cheerful. The restaurant itself was very clean and feels very warm and welcoming.

Love the ambiance this Mexican restaurant has. It is truly a cozy atmosphere. Margarita comes in different flavors are strong and comes with an extra shot. As for the food elote was delicious but all the other entrees seem to fall flat. My chicken quesadilla was so soft and limp that all the chicken fell out so I had to dissect it and eat it with the fork. The fajitas were good m, but had better. The enchiladas had small balls of meat that were interesting. The size portion was huge but the flavor lacked. When it got time to get the check our server was nowhere to be found and had to ask another employee to get him. Overall, I would come here for chips salsa, apps and drinks.

I cannot believe I have not written a review for this place in spite of being here, probably just under a dozen times! This has to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area that I have ever been to. It is always crowded as it is a great place for families and friends to visit. They have a fully stocked bar and for those who enjoy their drinks, they all seem to rave about the Mojitos! The wifey and me both foodies and teetotalers!! We came here last weekend as we were in the mood for some authentic Mexican food and as usual, we were not disappointed. The service has always been spot on an excellent and all the dishes we have tried have been delicious, and the portions are more than generous. The last time I tried the Pollo Fundido and the wifey tried the three taco combination, and once again the taste did not disappoint at all! As you can see from the pictures, the portions of more than generous!! The prices of a reasonable and you definitely get a bang for your buck over here. To my fellow, YELPERS if you guys are looking for a really authentic Mexican restaurant, I would highly recommend TMG! Yes, we will definitely be back!

This place was recommended by a friend of mine. I always like trying new restaurants and we thought my family and I would give it a try. I like the environment, the music was loud enough to hear and for you to have your own conversation. The chips they give you when you come in are nice and warm and you get your own salsa so you don't share with anyone so you can double dip all you want hahah. The food in general is good and really good portions and tasteful. The waitress was really nice, not as attentive as I thought she would be, it did get busy around 3ish maybe that's why but I'm overall it was a good place.

The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is fun with a large open space and nice booths and the prices are reasonable. We loved the chorizo queso dip. Kids meals are $7. Excited to come back.

Second birthday celebration here for our big 15 person group ! Great service by Viv and fun atmosphere ! The food is delicious. I love the vegetable bowl . My spouse had a steak dinner .

Nice decor, Mexican music is very loud. They give you a basket of chips/Salsa. We ordered the chicken quesadilla & the chicken fajita. Not very tasty & the chicken was very dry. We told our server. She had no comment & walked away. We had to ask for an extra plate when she knew we were against. No serving spoons & no water refills. One & done!

The chef said yes, made them from scratch, and wouldn't take a dime. What arrived was outstanding. House BBQ brisket, stripped perfectly for a nacho chip, which almost *nobody gets right*. Fresh queso that actually delivered. Avocado crema drizzled throughout. Cotija crumbled on top. Bell peppers adding color and brightness, and the chips held under the Fork Rule. This was a prototype. Eight chips. Not hot. Stale chips cost them points. The metal tin showed up uninvited as always, and it still scored an 8.5. Two things stand between Los Bocados and the highest nacho score in this series: fresh chips and the right vessel. Everything else is already there. INSTANT REGRET! The place was basically empty when we walked in, and it took a while before anyone acknowledged us. Our server was friendly but barely checked on us and we even saw her vaping at the bar, which was super unprofessional. We ordered loaded nachos, a burrito to share, and two Diet Cokes. They brought out tiny 8 oz glass bottles we finished in seconds, no heads up that the fountain machine wasn't working. The food? Total disappointment. The food was cold. The loaded nachos were so salty, bland, and definitely not "loaded." Not even all the cheese was melted. The burrito was just dry chicken and plain white rice with no flavor at all. It honestly tasted like leftovers from two days ago. Overall, one of the worst Mexican meals we've ever had. Not surprised the place was empty if they keep this up, they won't be around much longer. Were in an upscale taco joint during Happy Hour and it's Taco Tuesday, so we went with the Street Tacos trio of steak bacon, baja fish and grilled chicken. Ordered three mini tacos and each fit into the palm of my hand. They were presented on a brown wooden plate and each taco sitting upright in its designated metal holder. The shells were very soft and the toppings provided a fresh vibrant appearance. Each taco was very good but one shined brighter than the others - which was the Baja Fish flavored with lime crema and cabbage slaw. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol!
