    Chilaquiles. The chef is gifted.

I don't leave many reviews, but wow, this place has incredible food. This is a coffee shop?? The chilaquiles are outstanding 5/5. The breakfast taco was so good that I couldn't believe the ingredient list when my wife told me (egg, cheese, bean). The flavor was excellent!! 5/5 Drinks were ok, go for the food imo. Could be a little cleaner in the dining area. Tables need to be wiped down a bit better. We sat at 3 different tables before we found one that was clean enough that we could comfortably eat. But, even considering all this I give this place 4/5 stars. If it was a little more clean it would easily be a 5/5. Go here for breakfast. Don't hesitate.

Wanted to like this place, but won't be coming back. We ordered two tres leches lattes, a berry cloud matcha, a breakfast burrito, and migas. The tres leches lattes tasted different (we complained but they didn't believe us), the matcha was mostly milk, and the migas and burrito were super bland. The eggs tasted like hotel eggs.

We are on vacation and wanted to grab some coffee. My family picked this up for us, and everyone enjoyed their coffee. I got the Tormenta Tres Leches as I wanted something different, and it is very good! Others ordered cold brew and a regular caramel vanilla latte, everyone was happy with their orders. Service was quick and family who went said it was a cute place with friendly staff. Will be going back before the end of our trip!

I was really looking forward to this meal, but unfortunately, I found a hair embedded right in the food (as you can clearly see in the imag I attached). Finding a stray hair is completely unacceptable and a major hygiene issue. Total waste of money because I couldn't bring myself to finish it after that. Check your food before you bite!

My husband and I visited tormenta Coffee for breakfast, we were famished! The place is clean, and wasn't too busy. Their menu has limited options, it's mostly Tex mex. We ordered 2 breakfast tacos and chilaquiles. The tacos (1 corn, 1 flour tortilla) very tasty, and both tortillas are amazing! I would order again. Now the chilaquiles verdes please! This is a big bowl full of crispy nachos, with outstanding salsa verde and tomato sauce, a fried egg, crunchy onion and cilantro, sour cream, delicious cotija cheese, chorizo and AMAZING beans! This is a definitely a must, very authentic chilaquiles, I could have this breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Tormenta Coffee well done!

As always the staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Such a great job being done here this Veteran Owned Restaurant.

Food was great! Morgan helped us out when it came to the menu. Since it was my first time I did have a few questions. She was super patient and carried a great attitude. I'd definitely come back!

I was staying at a nearby hotel for work and decided to walk over one morning in search of better coffee--and I found it. Tormenta is a fantastic little coffee spot that truly delivers. The interior is spacious and comfortable, with ample parking available. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making every visit a pleasure. On my first morning, I enjoyed a regular latte, which was great. The next day, I tried the chorizo, egg, and cheese sandwich--it was fantastic. I also sampled their Ube latte, and it did not disappoint. All of my coworkers staying in the area ended up coming here instead of sticking with the hotel, and they loved it just as much. Tormenta is brewing up storms of great coffee and good vibes!

    Enchiladas coming soon!

The drinks are amazing! Everything is fresh + homemade here! I love the lavender lemonade, my husband swears by the dirty chai + my son is obsessed with the hot chocolate. They make my son a special bean + cheese burrito that is super huge + yummy. I've tried the carne asada quesadillas, the fish tacos + also the birria tacos + birria ENCHILADAS! We got to try them before they come out + WOW! Never would have thought to put birria in enchiladas! It's comes in red + green! The red is bomb.com so full of flavor. I love this place becos they have games for the kids as well as amazing good! 10/10 come, you won't be disappointed

Hands down the best breakfast/ chicken burrito I've had , they're not stingy with the meat . We also tried the espresso horchata and it was delicious . The Employe was friendly and helped us when we couldn't decide. The place is super clean and cute . I would recommend giving it a try .

Carne Asada street taco, best in the area.

The atmosphere was awesome the place smelled like freshly ground coffee beans. Staff was very nice, I got two street tacos, chicken and carne asada. The tacos came with red and green salsa, which were both amazing. I put both salsas on the tacos, excellent. I also impulse bought a pastry at the register, it was a blueberry cream cheese danish. Everything was a 10 out of 10. They also have a drive thru, if you just need a coffee and to drive thru.

I wasn't sure what to make of the request, but hung up. I told my husband about the phone call and he was less than thrilled. Based on the reviews, I thought there was great potential for a good meal. We drove to the restaurant, and as soon as I stepped inside, I understood what was meant about the line forming. In order to place your order, you must get in line. There's one individual taking orders. At the time we arrived, there was no line and no one inside. We asked a few questions for clarification and dietary advice. I ordered one of their specials with beans. My husband ordered an egg dish with beans and corn tortillas. We were asked if we wanted a drink, we said no, and the nice gentleman asked if we wanted water cups, to which we replied no. I had purchased several drinks the night before, as such we had several beverages in the rental car. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of my dish. It was exactly what I thought of when I think of Mexican food. Great beans and rice. All around tasty food. My husband had the Caribbean omelette. I had an enchilada dish. I left maybe one bite on the plate.

Well..... the food was okay.. we had a large party of 10, so many different dishes were ordered and sampled.. the food overall is okay, but nothing wow about it.. rice was mid.. it just didn't hit.. if they said it was day old rice I'd believe it.. the beans tasted like they were from a bag or something.. again. They were okay not bad but not amazing, but neither rice or beans tasted homemade or freshly made, I'm Mexican and eat them daily. I feel like I know the difference but taste is completely subjective. Service was friendly our waiter was patient and took the time to answer our questions and concerns. They gave us chips and salsa, I'm visiting Texas and so far every place gives me warm salsa, maybe it's a Texas thing but it's just not something I'm used to but it tasted good just weird it's warm.. We had an issue with the horchata, not tasting at all like horchata, we asked the server what was in it and he was completely clueless and said I don't know, and on his phone while we asked this and just seemed not happy to be there, but they swapped it no problem.. thanks again, we got the lemonade and it was delicious. I ordered the carnitas and they were amazing.. I would recommend you get them yourself I've had lots throughout my life and they're definitely top 3. My mom ordered the shrimp cocktail, it didn't hit.. we ended up sharing my carnitas plate. I don't recommend the shrimp cocktail, the shrimps were tiny, precooked and I could tell they came frozen.. I love ketchup, but this was an excess. Idk something just wasn't right.. my mom ate maybe 1/4 of it and was done.. cousins got burgers and fries they were basic but hit the spot, someone else got fajitas and they hit.. enchiladas were yummy, someone got a tamale I didn't try it but they ate it all.. same with the crunchy tacos and tostadas.. overall the place was okay. Ambiance was great, it's nicely decorated and very cheerful., services was friendly and we finished it off with complimentary self serve ice cream..

They have a few different flavor profiles going on but they all seem to work. They do offer complimentary bread and butter, and have different happy hour specials during the week. For an appetizer, I ordered the crab cake appetizer that comes with two cakes and salad. I was very surprised at the size of the crab cakes! That basically could have been a meal by itself. I ate one so I could have room for my entree and I loved the lemon sauce that came with it. The flavor was yummy. Hubby the soup of the day which was like a crab bisque, which I got to try. It was creamy and a little on the sweeter side but also tasted good. For my entree, I ordered the stuffed Mahi Mahi. It comes with dirty rice and vegetables. I asked the waitress if I could sub the dirty rice and the only option she gave me was the Alfredo fettuccine. I was fine with that, but could not understand why substituting rice with the pasta would also take away my vegetables. So I had to pay an additional $10 to get a side of vegetables and I didn't like that. The portions of the entree are very big. Honestly, me and hubby could have split my whole meal and had been full off the one appetizer and entree. The stuffed Mahi was good and the sauce on it had a good flavor. The side of vegetables came with a trio of steamed broccoli, Zucchini that was sautéed in a sauce, and carrots. The waitress failed to explain that the carrots were actually a carrot puree. It was sweet and tasted almost like a sweet potato mash. It wasn't what I was expecting but surprised that it tasted so good. Everything individually tasted amazing, but I would not say that the flavor profiles are cohesive. Overall, it was a good dining experience and I left with food to still last me two more meals. I had the rest of the pasta with my crab cake for lunch the next day, and ate the rest of the fish and vegetables for dinner.
