First, the person who answered the phone claimed that the doors that I was calling regarding should remain open because they are on a spring. This was false. I explained if those open door should remain open, then they needed to close 5,000 doors in this complex. That's when the guy said, "oh, those doors are supposed to be closed." I said, "I know!" It was obvious that this guy just didn't want to do his job. He never came out to address the fire violation issue. This disturbed me since this complex has had several fires and my property has been in the direct line of some of the fires. After a few days, I called back and I spoke to another guy since they still hadn't come out to address the doors. This person also refuse to do anything about it and simply said that he would give the message to the first person who had ignored my message the last time. This place is a joke! Hey firefighters, why don't you guys do the job that you're paid to do?

I told the young lady I was ok, and she smiled from across the road, waved goodbye and moved on to more important incidents. *During the July 2023 landslides on Peartree Ln. Local Sheriff were there along with firemen, local gas, and electric company keeping the vigil with residents. They were still on site even after we were required to leave due to sewer line, potable water issues. They prevented many attempts of vandals from trespassing and looting the homes. *A few months later at a nearby address, we called upon the Lomita Sheriff after some stolen items during the time a subcontractor was in the room alone while the master bathroom was being serviced. The attending Deputy was respectful 100% professional in taking the report, and follow up. *In a recent parking lot fender bender incident between another party and myself, the responding officer Depty Vargas, was 100%, impartial, informative, and polite to both parties to the incident. My previous experiences, (Including today), with many police officers is a very despotic and intransigent individual. I'm sure this is with just cause. I can't imagine the things Officers must deal with. I work with people, and many are intractable at the very least... it can be exhausting!!
