My friend and I decided to check out this boutique after seeing an announcement on the business…read morefacebook page that select styles of Miss Me & LA Idol jeans were half price! The decision to enter this store was both the best and worst decision of my life - the best being that I found one of my new favorite stores to shop in. The worst being that I will end up going broke! I have an obsession with flowy sheer (polyester) tops and this place has plenty selection and from what I've heard, recieve new stock & styles often. I walked out with two dress tops and a pair of brand name jeans for $84. According to their site, Yellow Box, Miss Me, LA Idol, Grazie, Katydid, Save The Ta-tas, & Jimmy Crystal are just a few of the brands they carry. Sizes run 7-16 for girls & 0-21 (S-3x) for women - you don't have to be stick thin to shop here, they had many plus size options. Oh, and they ship clothing as well (check out their fb page). In addition to the super cute trendy clothing, they have tons of accessories!! I'm talking hair bows, sunglasses, candles, personalized jewelry, 3d fiber lashes, spirit items (ya know like the bling bling shirts all sport's moms wear), & scarves out the ying yang (out the ying yang... is that even a phrase? Starting to see how a girl could go absolutely broke in this place?!) As with any boutique, some of the items are a pretty penny but each of the shirts I purchased were $22, which is about average for a dress shirt nowadays. The dressing rooms are uber tiny, awkwardly lit with a standing lamp, have no hanging racks but a small stool and curtains that you'll bump into while attempting to keep your balance when changing clothing but I gotta give the place kudos as they are working with very limited space and seem to have done what they could with the space provided. Speaking of limited space, the inside of the store is pretty small - baby strollers and other large items are not allowed inside. Something to bear in mind if you have little ones in tow. Definitely recommend. Now.. quit reading already & go check this place out! :)

I will soon be moving to Washington, D.C., for graduate school and will be interning in some…read morefederal offices. So, I figured I would get a new suit. Fortunately, Jos A Bank was running a special; buy one suit, get three suits free, so I took advantage of the offer. Granted, the one suit was $995, which I would never have paid for a single suit, but getting four at that price wasn't too bad. The staff were very helpful and I was quite surprised that they had several suits in my size (50L). Doug Sauerwein was my salesperson, and he was very knowledgeable and professional. He marked my suits for tailoring just the way I wanted. With the tailoring on all four suits, the "traveler's crease" (a permanent crease on the trousers), and the tax, my total was $1,325.52, which averages just over $330 each. I was promised the suits on 20 May, but was surprised when I got a call today, a full week early, that my suits were ready to be picked up. They fit perfectly and the tailoring looks very professionally done. Besides the suits, they have a great selection of shirts, sports coats, shoes (including Johnston & Murphy), socks, belts, ties, suspenders...just about anything you could need and a quality haberdasher should have. I am very pleased with my experience and the professionalism that the staff exhibited. If you're in need of some fine, professional clothing, definitely give them a try.

I recently purchased a suit from this store. I was in a time crunch because of an event that I…read moreneeded to attend, and because I had gained some weight after having had surgery recently. So I went this JAB because it was closer to my home (which was an hour and a half away). The initial purchase went relatively smooth, they fitted me for size but had to order the correct color. The sales lady kept telling me that only the slacks would need to be hemmed and that anyone in the store could do it...no problem. When I went back four days later... big problem. Jacket was too big, slacks to small in the waist and crotch... but the right fabric and color. No problem, the seamstress says, she can fix it. We do the fitting and come back three days later to pick it up...problem. Jacket fits well, the slacks fit ok, but the rear pockets are moved so far forward they look like I have four front pockets. I didn't notice it until after I had returned home and put the suit on for the event. Now, I'm not prone to writing reviews unless something is really good or in this case really bad. Here I am $700 and change to buy the suit, another $60 for tailoring and 9 hours drive time (three trips, 1.5 hours each way). Needless to say, I ain't happy. Not sure how I going to handle it at the moment, just finished the event and still steaming.
