5 STARS!!! 5 ESTRELLAS Came to Mexico City for a quick business trip but had a few days in between to check out the area and do some fun stuff. Went to a baseball game for the pre season and one of the vendors was Tort AS. Which to be honest had the shortest line and the friendliest staff. I got in line and got me and my partner a couple of Tortas. We had the Cubana and the Hawaiian style tortas and they were amazing! So we had to go get more. I can't begin to describe how delicious these Tortas were. Nothing like I've ever had in the states. Juicy filled with lots of cheese and huge serving size for such an amazing price I was baffled. We had to get some more so we went to their location in the city which was just 15 mins from out hotel located in the city! We ran into the same people from baseball game and turns out they're a family owned business. The place was amazing filled with Coca Cola memorabilia! This is a MUST GO location in Mexico City. The food was out of this world and the family who runs it is really nice. Thank you Lupita for the great service and amazing food! We will be coming back next time I'm in the city! Typical Mexican tortas made with patience equivalent to Don Polo. The good thing about this is that you notice when someone has taken the time to prepare something. Not the best I've had but they deserve the visit. I strongly recommend the "Hawaiana con Pierna" because mixes the fruity flavour of the pineapple with a good oven-style ham. They also have excellent natural fruit water available in two sizes, 500ml and one litre. read more
