The food is good. The pizza is delicious.The workers are very good. I was in Tosco's. On Saturday and I assume. The man that came in. And was yelling at the girl.That works behind the counter. Is the owner. He is very rude treats his Workers with total disrespect. I felt so sorry for the young Girl behind the counter. She was very helpful to us and nobody deserves to be spoken to the way he spoke to her. He should be ashamed of himself. I love this pizza!! I come to the area about once a month from the city and just tried It on my last trip. Got the sausage, green pepper onion slice - yay!! It is SO awesome! Thin crunchy crust, just the right amount of cheese / sauce, not too salty. I was staying at my friends apt on Main Street, literally bolted out of bed to go back for another slice! Now I'm jonseing for my next trip back up there just for this pizza! There are many cool spots in this town which I have also reviewed. Maybe I need to relocate! I really wanted to like them. They're open when everyone else is closed. And they're friendly Traditional Margarita is my litmus test for a pizza place. Honest to god, WORST Italian food I have ever had. Ordered chicken marsala which was missing the marsala wine in the sauce entirely. My mom ordered chicken sorrentino which was supposed to have prosciutto but had sliced deli ham instead. All of our bread was burnt AF. (Like so burnt and hard that it hurt your teeth to bite into). We both ate like 3 bites and threw everything in the trash. Everything tasted like it came from the bottom of an oven or was freezer burnt? I've never written a bad review before!!!!. Love love love most of their food! YOU WILL LOVE THEIR MAC N CHEESE PIZZA! From pizza to burgers it all great except their pasta sauce on the spaghetti and meatballs dish, ordered it off the kids menu for our daughter. The sauce was runny and had no substance so she didn't like it. We also ordered some of their Mexican dishes and the tacos were not great. Great when it opened, fell off a cliff in recent times. Deliveries can take up to 2 hours or NEVER COME. Even if you call they can't guarantee if you're ever gonna get it. For an order that was gonna be 3 hours late they were going to give me a discount on my NEXT ORDER... NOT the one that took 3 HOURS..LMAO. Not even an apology for wasting our time. Tosco's Pizzeria... Go Big or Go Home. This pizzeria has been consistently good to me for years. They have the biggest single slices around. My favorite pizza that they have is named after their business. It's called the toscos pie. This bad boy has Grilled Chicken, Roasted Peppers & Fresh Mozzarella which is just such a good combo. I thought it was kind of strange that there is a kind of black vinegar on it but once I tried it there was no going back. There is no red sauce on the pie but it really does not need it. I order from here a lot. They even have 24 inch pizzas which could feed an army. In terms of there single slices they really are huge and affordable. For two bucks u can get a cheese slice that looks like two slices forged by the fires into one. This is a great place to get a pie from. Thank you for being awesome Tosco's Pizzeria. read more

This is a review of Tosco's Pizzeria, 1157 Route 32, Rosendale, NY 12472. On 07/10/2021, I ordered penne alla vodka with grilled chicken, but there was NO CHICKEN in my dish. On 08/03/2021, I ordered the same dish, AND AGAIN, there was NO CHICKEN in my dish. It should be noted that the order on 08/03/2021 was phoned in 40 minutes prior to pickup. While ordering on the phone, I mentioned the prior time that the chicken was omitted from my dish, and to please ensure that chicken is included in my dish, this time. When I arrived at Tosco's, my dish was ready, but not bagged yet. So, I asked the older Spanish guy, behind the counter, if there was chicken in my dish. He looked at the container, which had a clear plastic lid, and confirmed that he saw chicken. However, when I opened the container at home, there was NO CHICKEN. I was quite annoyed, as this was the second time that they screwed up my dish. I should also mention another ongoing issue with Tosco's, Rosendale, as follows: they have delivery, but rarely have drivers, so delivery is usually not available. However, when available, delivery usually takes at least an hour or two. So, needless to say, everyone should avoid Tosco's Pizzeria, Rosendale! read more

Wow this is about to get real. Fist it really sucks that I am about to destroy this place, since I do like there food. It all started about a month and a half ago, at a place called Tosco's In Rosendale NY. I ordered a pizza half sausage and half pepperoni. I was told it would be 25 minutes, I got there in 15 minutes to find the pizza sitting on top of the oven, when I got it home it was not hot. Next about a week latter I ordered 2 sandwiches, one philly steak and cheese sandwich, just steak and cheese no onions, peppers, or mushrooms, and a turkey B.L.T wrap with fries, again I was told 25 minutes, so I got there early. This time they messed up the philly steak and cheese, and had to make another one, mean while the turkey B.L.T. and fries were sitting under a warming light the whole time, so when I got it home the fries were cold and mushy. Third time I ordered a turkey B.L.T. with fries and a philly stake and cheese roll not a sandwich this time. This time I get there the steak and cheese is not done so, I was waiting and was asked what the order was for. I told them a philly steak and cheese roll and a turkey B.L.T. They told me that the order was not read rite by the person in the kitchen and they never made my turkey B.L.T. Now I have to wait while they make my turkey B.L.T., in the mean time the philly wrap gets done and put on top of the oven, when it gets home it's cold. I said something to them while waiting about this being the third time my order was messed up, and if it happens again I may never order from them again. They never even addressed the issue, not even to say they were sorry. Well here is were it gets real. Saturday Feb. 25th, 2017. I ordered a philly steak and cheese wrap. Got there early to make sure it would not be sitting out waiting for me. While waiting there was a server thunder storm. The person I was with was buying, so I went to get my truck and park next to the door so she would not get soaked getting in. The power went out, and it was raining very hard with strong winds. I went out the door and went to my right, then I fell. There were bricks stacked up 2 or 3 high rite outside the door. I never saw them and fell hard. I tore the knee out of my jeans, cut my knee and hand, my knee was bleeding pretty bad as was my hand. I went back in and told them, and told the person I was with I was leaving, even if the order was not ready. She said it was done and she was paying and would be rite out. The owner nor any of the staff asked nor checked to see how bad I was bleeding. They never even asked if I was ok, they never even said a word to me. When the person I was with got in to my truck, she asked how I was and I showed her my knee and hand. She told me after I asked, that no-one inside acted concerned at what just happened. They made sure to not only charge her for the food, but since the power was out they could not open the cash register, so they owe her $2.50 change from the price of the order. So I will never go there again, due to there incompetence and lack of concern. The best part is a free meal cost me $30.00 for a pair of jeans, $75.00 for a pair of sneakers, and $15.00 for stuff at the pharmacy for the cuts. $120.00 and not as much as an are you ok. I guess they can be lucky that my injuries were not server enough for me to sue the hell out of them. Instead I'll just go down the street to some place else from now on for my food. Great place to go if you want poor service, and lack of concern. Makes me glad that I was a loyal customer for years, ordering at least 4 or 5 times a month. read more

I love Tosco's. It's so good my boyfriend proposed to me after we ate there. He's like I'm so glad you said yes and I'm like I didn't say yes I said "okay" lol. The pizza here is excellent - if you get meat or vegetable surprise pizza its like 500 pounds of toppings I love it. Once I got salad pizza. Also their sandwiches and salads are so good and big. They're big and good. They also have pasta dishes. I love Tosco's and so should you. They even got wings and on the back of the menu they have some Mexican selections so I'll have to eat some of that soon. read more

Had a very busy day, fasting before a doctor's appointment that afternoon and I didn't have time to make dinner before my girlfriend picked me up to go to a women's support group. Was so hungry and I was afraid I would "pig out" on the snacks at the women's support group, that I asked my girlfriend, who is familiar with the area, if she knew of an inexpensive place to eat. She and I chose Tosco's Pizzeria, and were amazed at the value of the food, freshness, friendly staff and cleanliness of the restaurant and restrooms. We had cheese pizza and small diet sodas. WE DEFINITE WILL RETURN, and I won't need to use the excuse that I am hungry! read more

unfortunately this place has really gone downhill. There are many people that cook there, so it really depends on who is working. the inconsistency is annoying. The waitstaff turns over often and is always poor service. The WORST waitress is unfortunately a family member of the place...I think the daughter. I have only had their cheese pizza, which is delicious, big slices for only $2 total. A perfect lunch for anyone, especially a cheap lunch for a college student or a quick lunch for someone taking a lunch break while on the job.
