I love Toss'd. It's a great idea. Noodles and salads (you toss them both, geddit?) and they're delicious. Toss'd is a funky restaurant in the CHQ with lots of seats outside with green cushions. They do delicious noodles and meals in the nice take-out boxes and it's reasonable value (Pad Thai €9.45). They also have ready to go salads that are €7.50 or you can make your own up. Recycle bins near the tables too. It's more than the cushions that are green.

Chilli Basil Beef, gorgeous but chilli seeds left in so delicate eaters beware! :)

This place makes its money as a weekday lunch spot, so it's not unreasonable but is worth mentioning that that's when it's at its best! My first trip was during prime time and I had a gorgeous cray fish and glass noodle salad, while my second trip was on a Saturday afternoon when the entire chq building is deserted and the salads are off the menu, which made me very sad inside as I sat through an entire morning of investment banking details looking forward to one. Instead I got the Chilli Basil Beef, a wok dishes which was very generous and tasty although I must say that the beef was not the best, I'm pretty sure it was pre cooked and thrown in the wok to warm up with the udon noodles. All in all, great for a weekday lunch but ab unfortunate miss on Saturdays, despite the really lovely staff!

Honestly, probably the only reason I'm dropping a star is the old familiarity breeds contempt line. It really is delicious, I've tried most things on the menu at this stage and very rearly been let down. Warning!! Come here hungry, preferably starving. Portion sizes are epic!! I've regularly brought half the stuff home (which all comes handily in takeaway cartons anyway) Other times I just overeat and get somebody to roll me out the door!! My personal favourite are the sticky roast ribs which come with Thai spiced sweet potatoes, yummers!! Photo is of ramen-style noodle broth with chicken which is also fantastic.

Two words you only need to know if you plan on eating lunch here...."curry special". Honestly, all are delicious especially "green curry Tuesday" and "masamma Friday" mind this one has peanuts so not every1's cup of tea. Can't go too wrong with any of the lunch curry specials €9.99...bargin

If you like being treated like cattle and standing for 45 minutes waiting in a crowded area, you will like this.

The Thai Curry (can be either green, yellow, red depending on the specials) is absolutely gorgeous. Well worth a visit to try it.

    Review Highlights - TOSS'D Noodles & Salads

The glut of offices and banks in such a small area means there's munching a plenty, especially so in the normally deserted CHQ building.

You order at the counter and they bring your food over to your table. It looked to me like they can seat 40 people or so. The interior is a pleasant mix of brick and paneling with some very cool artwork on the walls, like an image of someone walking holding a giant pole on their shoulders with a big basket on each side. I also saw a big mural of a guy with a toothy grin smiling at the dining room. The menu is pretty big and pretty reasonable -eleven appetizers at no more than six and a half Euros, if you don't count the Selection Box for Two (€12). They also offer three soups, three salads, five curries, seven noodle dishes, seven stir fries, five fried rice dishes, four House Specialties, ten sides, and even a children's menu of four things like peanut noodles and sweet and sour chicken. You can also buy their dipping sauces by the bottle. We started off by splitting an appetizer of Phukett Tiger Prawns (€6.50 for 4 pieces) which we really enjoyed. It was a shrimp stuffed with diced chicken and ginger, wrapped in a pastry and served with a sweet chili dipping sauce. Simple and delicious! Our entrees were 1) Pad Thai served with chicken and shrimp instead of the usual one or the other. It ran (€12) and was delicious, and 2) Pad King Beef (also €12). The Pad King was a delicious stir fry of ginger, mushrooms, bok choy, scallions, and of course plenty of tender beef slices served with a bowl of rice. It was wonderful. Our food for two cost just €30.50, or about $37 -not bad for a big city dinner.

Shrimp and vegetables were cooked perfectly even w takeout time. I have mostly kept only Thai dishes. Oh, spicy chicken wings were fantastic - goes well with beer or white wine.
