On your first bite you may find yourself uttering a few oaths as the food here is served 'eff-en hot'. However, once you've found the complementary water, and dipped your tongue in it, your remaining taste buds are in for a tasty meal. The menu offers extensive choice with a good range of soup, noodle and rice dishes all catered for. Salads are also available, although I don't believe in salads so I'm not going to talk about them. Food is of a high quality, rich in flavor, and will be served promptly by the efficient and stoic staff. The large location with its many seats and some complementary news papers also gives you the option to sit in. My only beef would be that the portion sizes are, like the price, excessive. Noodles served in cardboard with plastic utensils are not worthy of a 10 euro price tag in my opinion. Especially when you can go somewhere like Yum Thai and order something similar for 5.50. The portions are huge but without a friend to share your just going to leave it behind. This place can not be ignored as the food is quality, but you can find cheaper. read more

The IFSC can resemble a ghost town come 6pm of an evening and certainly every weekend. Daytime is peak time for this part of D1. The glut of offices and banks in such a small area means there's munching a plenty, especially so in the normally deserted CHQ building. With Pilates and a river view at one end and Starbucks at the other, you could be Dublin 4. Toss'd is located bang in the middle of the building. It's a queue and pay type place with the food served in those cool 'Chinese Food' containers you'll recognise from any movie or sit-com. Portions are huge, definitely value for money, at €9 for the average meal it would be hefty otherwise. We ordered ahead, handy that, so didn't have to wait. I have to say, they were some of the best noodles I've had in Dublin. I went for the Chicken Teriyaki; my friends got an assortment of crayfish curry, Prawn yakisoba and the always reliable Pad Thai. The food was fresh and very tasty. As well as noodles they do rice dishes, pasta made to order salads and are open 7-7. Daily specials are a feature too. Only snag with the place was the lack of seats, the place does turnaround pretty quick though. Would be nice to see a few more of these around Dublin, could be a nice antidote to the grease fest of some of Dublin's late night noodle places. read more

I love Toss'd. It's a great idea. Noodles and salads (you toss them both, geddit?) and they're delicious. Toss'd is a funky restaurant in the CHQ with lots of seats outside with green cushions. They do delicious noodles and meals in the nice take-out boxes and it's reasonable value (Pad Thai €9.45). They also have ready to go salads that are €7.50 or you can make your own up. Recycle bins near the tables too. It's more than the cushions that are green. read more

This place makes its money as a weekday lunch spot, so it's not unreasonable but is worth mentioning that that's when it's at its best! My first trip was during prime time and I had a gorgeous cray fish and glass noodle salad, while my second trip was on a Saturday afternoon when the entire chq building is deserted and the salads are off the menu, which made me very sad inside as I sat through an entire morning of investment banking details looking forward to one. Instead I got the Chilli Basil Beef, a wok dishes which was very generous and tasty although I must say that the beef was not the best, I'm pretty sure it was pre cooked and thrown in the wok to warm up with the udon noodles. All in all, great for a weekday lunch but ab unfortunate miss on Saturdays, despite the really lovely staff! read more

Honestly, probably the only reason I'm dropping a star is the old familiarity breeds contempt line. It really is delicious, I've tried most things on the menu at this stage and very rearly been let down. Warning!! Come here hungry, preferably starving. Portion sizes are epic!! I've regularly brought half the stuff home (which all comes handily in takeaway cartons anyway) Other times I just overeat and get somebody to roll me out the door!! Oh gosh, their daily specials fly out the door....especially the curries...but they are absolutely delicious. Priced at around €9, easily feeds two....and piping hot... Staff are so friendly, and if you are making up a salad (can get this pasta, noodle or leaf-based) they will help with suggestions for dressings and nuts/seeds if you're not sure.... I think we may well be seeing more Toss'd-s around town in the near future!! read more

Very good noodles! Toss'd at CHQ is a flower in the middle of a crpyt. CHQ; a remnant of the Celtic Tiger years and is now pretty much empty. Toss'd and its neighbour Insomnia are the only arterys pumping punters through the doors! And it is worthwhile..... This is a crazy busy spot at lunch and the Q's are long. Worth the wait for something a bit different than a sambo! read more

I work in the ifsc so I'm always in the chq for lunch. I would love to eat tossed everyday but I prefer to keep it as a treat. One reason it's a treat is becuase the queue is always so long and that would drive me crazy if I were to do it everyday and two because the portions are so big. As a meal for lunch one portion of say a curry and rice is more than enough between two people unless you're planning a few pints straight after work, then eat the whole lot. I always go for whatever curry special is on that day and I think it's the best Thai curry I've had in Dublin, think and creamy, not too spicy, lots of neat and veg. Everything looks delicious, they have a biggish menu and a really big salad bar. I also like that they have bowls so yiu don't have to eat your food from the take away box. Defo go, try the curry but if it's your lunch break be willing to spend the full hour between waiting a possible half hour and then the other half to eat the massive portion. Nom nom read more

A great place for a quick and easy salad! For €7.50 you can create your own salad with an awesome variety of toppings. I had one with lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, bacon lardons, croutons and blue cheese dressing. Alright, not the healthiest of salads, but delicious nonetheless. I looked over their prepared salads and noodle offerings, and they look great as well. Also, the location in the CHQ building is great. You can eat in or enjoy your food by the river just outside. read more

Went here for lunch today - the place is BUSY. thoroughly enjoyed it! I got Chicken Teryaki noodles to go. Only waited around 5 mins which considering the amount of people there was good in my opinion. The guy behind the counter was very nice. Interior is modern and clean. As has been said before, portion size is on the big side, but I like that. It's a great spot for lunch and I will return again. Someone told me the Chile beef was a good choice!! read more

Toss'd is located in the CHQ shopping center. I would say looking down from the entrance of the CHQ building you can see where the attention is directed and where the crowds are centered, and that is at Toss'd. Toss'd may be what is keeping this shopping center in business. Toss'd is a great concept. They offer salads made to your liking or a few premade quick salads as well. They also offer soups, noodles and simply amazing curries, which are my main draw. They have great daily specials and usually one amazing curry each day. Lunch can get quite crowded and there can be a line, but the reason people queue so long here is the great quality of food that this place delivers. I have been probably 5-6 times now and each time is better than the last. I do find lunch to be at the top end of my usual lunch time range at 9.95, however I forget the price after I taste the quality of the food. The curries are so rich tasting and well made that you want to be sure to savor every last bite. Just writing this review is making me crave it even more. One tip that I discovered after waiting in the line and subsequently waiting even longer for food, I discovered that you can order online in advance. This is very handy if you are leaving for lunch in the prime busiest time and do not want to wait long. Overall, despite a higher price point of 9.95 for the daily special, this place is delicious and I will continue to frequent this place. read more

After all these good reviews I had to pop in here one day during lunch as I work in the IFSC and said 'hey, I have to try this place'. It was quite possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had in not only Dublin, but all of Ireland. Lets start with the arrival. Myself and a colleague from work arrived about 12:15. We though we would beat the lunch crowd. No such luck. There was already a queue out the door. So we waited for about ten minutes, not so bad, placed our order, and then went to find a table. There is a minimal amount of seating here but luckily we found a spot after another ten minutes. Our food had still not been called so we thought we were doing good. We had to bus our own table as there is no one there to do it and many people appear to just leave their rubbish and walk off. We watched as others were busing their own tables as well. So we sat and waited...and waited..and waited. After 45 minutes of waiting for our order we asked about where it was. They said they were busy and working on it. Our ticket was 495 and they were calling numbers from all over. A lad beside me had 460! We just ordered two portions of Singapore Noodles, and we had literally waited there for over an hour if you include the first queue to pay before we went up and asked for a refund. We have a lunch hour, not a lunch afternoon. We finally left about 1:30, with nothing to show for it other than the fact we were still hungry. If you don't mind spending the entire lunch hour and then some standing like cattle packed into a small area having everyone around you bump into you like a crowded night club you might enjoy this place. I can say much else, as the food may be good, but I will never know because I don't have an hour to wait around for a box of overpriced noodles to find out. read more

5 stars, considering the chicken curry I had here was comparable to some of the most authentic sit down Thai restaurants I've been to in the SF bay area, where I live. So from a shop that's technically fast food, in what is essentially an upscale strip, they are definitely doing something right, maybe even everything. If you don't know the area, TOSS'D is hard to find. It's inside the EPIC center in a food court type setting. At lunch the line was long which should be a good sign. We ordered one of the daily specials (Korean) and it was disappointing. We like spicy food but this was really spicy. Also, there were very few vegetables in the chicken dish. It was basically chicken and lots of rice. The servings are large. We ended up throwing a lot of food away. read more

Toss'd is my preferred lunch spot in the area. Everything I've tried there is good. The curries I've had have been better than at some sit-down restaurants. I'd echo the other reviewers' recommendation to order ahead of time if you don't want a long wait. My only complaint is that when I've asked for dishes made extra spicy, they just toss jalapeno slices on top, when what I want is for the sauce itself to be spicier, not to just eat some plain peppers. I'm guessing though that they're probably not that used to requests for extra heat. read more

Food is great here, which would explain the seriously long queues at lunch time! Personally I love making up the salads (so much choice!) but the Thai food is great too! However, portions are massive! I'd definitely recommend splitting the Thai meals between two or else saving half for dinner to avoid an unpleasant food coma! read more

I love this place. I come here for a lunchtime treat at least once a week and have even found myself popping in at the weekend when I'm too lazy to cook. The food is all freshly prepared in front of you, and is of a high quality. The portions are quite big and could easily feed two, but are very enjoyable nonetheless. I agree with another poster here who suggested smaller portions for smaller prices, pretty good idea! Definitely recommend this place though, their salads and hot dishes are superb! read more

I went to TOSS'D on recommendation but was disappointed. It was a line out the door which is always a great sign. My motto is go to the restaurant with the longest line at lunch if you want the best food but unfortunately the line was just to order and pay. Once i paid it was going to be another 25 minutes until the food was ready... that is a long time for lunch. I walked around and came back 20 mins later only to wait at least 15 more minutes. They claimed I already picked up my food but when I assured them I had not, they offered to make my dish there and then... When I finally go to enjoy the food back at my office desk (because there were no free seats) my chicken pad Thai had large chunks of tofu as well. They had given me a mix of something that was previously cooked with a few pieces of chicken on top of that. I was disappointed because it is an expensive meal compared to other Thai Lunch places and so many of my co-workers love this place. I will have to give it a second try before I write it off just yet! read more

The portions are huge, I really wish they would offer smaller portions at 5 euro as I would be tempted to frequent more often. got a thai green chicken curry once for dinner. it thought it was a bit pricey at 10 euro but turns out the portions are huge. easily could feed 2 people so at 5 euro per person it's a great deal. the thai curry was the best i've had in the city. they load it up with coconut cream which makes it very creamy and tasty. it takes a while to make so i waited around for about 10 minutes but it was certainly worth it. i haven't tried any of their other dishes but if the curry is an indication they should be good as well. read more
