The staff at the Woodbury location and a t Stillwater have been amazing. Your nightmare begins when you attempt to cancel. You're required to cancel on or before the 20th of the money. I canceled on 9-23 to end the membership at the end of October.....more than meeting their policy. This starts your nightmare! You will receive multiple emails and ride messages about cancelling! Upon calling you get someone who plays dumb. The result? I will not go back and am now paying for all of October without using their services. At the corporate level this company is a hot mess! I feel sorry for the teams at the stores.....if it's so easy to deny cancellation to their customers we all know how they treat their employees! Go anywhere but here! read more

DO NOT GO HERE... Choose any other place, they rip you off. I went in and they offered me a special where you get tanning and use of some of the other spa options for $89/month. The first charge was over $200 with all the extra fees, then sold me a lotion that they said was 40% off $80. The charge came up to $90, it was 40% off the original price equaling $80... which is not how she said it then refused to refund it. When I called customer service they basically told me they dont care. I looked up the lotion they sold me.... it goes for $15 on amazon. So on to my first auto payment a month later. It was $150 a month not $89. They dont tell you abut all the extra random charges monthly. So finally I canceled, which you have to fill out a form for and they can either accept or deny it.... thats right they can deny you canceling your membership. Then they will put your account on freeze and charge you a freeze fee every month. I ended up having to cancel my card to get out of this. It was the most terrible experience the customer service was terrible and they price gouge the shit out of there products. This whole place is scammy and they dont care about there customers, they only care about getting as much money from you as possible. read more

In the past I've liked the product but my last 2 visits I paid for an instant darkest spray and did not get the same results as in the past. the staff at Woodbury agreed that my results were not what they should've been. I learned several other customers have complained in the last week that they were not getting accurate color. only one spray booth is being used because the other is broken. they said they aren't fixing it because they are planning on getting new booths but not sure when. based on the poor results from their existing booth I recommend you go elsewhere until their equipment is fixed and upgraded. the staff was great. very friendly read more

I came to Totally Tan due to a Groupon I purchased. I was excited to try the spa equipment. Totally Tan was easy to locate in Woodbury. The staff person was very friendly and welcoming. She explained my options and showed me how to use the equipment. I was impressed by her level of customer service. The salon appeared very clean and organized. The red light therapy spa equipment seems to have many physical and emotional health benefits. In addition to this equipment, the salon also offers tanning and other beauty items (eye lashes, tanning lotion, goggles, etc). FYI-you are required to wear goggles/eye covers when using the equipment. Bring your own or purchase a pair there. Switched from competing salon in Oct 2020 hoping for higher cleaning standards (staff hygiene, overall salon cleanliness, and cleaning of the spray tan machines) and adherence to CDC recommendations with the covid 19 pandemic. Totally Tan did not disappoint. Customer service is polished, fun and respectful and spray tan machines are well maintained and thoroughly cleaned between consumers. Walked into the Woodbury store planning to purchase a monthly membership on 12/28/21. It was busy, so I waited a good 5-10 minutes. In that timeframe I unfortunately witnessed what I later found out was the manager ( a heavy set , dark-haired female with glasses) aggressively yelling from across the room to a customer who had come to the front from the back of the store and was waiting her turn to get into another machine. She yelled at her to move away from the desk area because she could potentially see the computer screens. The poor customer looked like a deer in the headlights and quickly moved over to the couches/ waiting area. After witnessing the way they treat their current customers I walked out and went to Oak Tan in Oakdale instead. read more

I bought the Groupon then was talked into the best unlimited package they have that also allows you to bring a companion to tan free. NOT TRUE. It's just a way for you to bring them in and have them up sold. They don't even have access to the same treatments. They told me otherwise and how great it was until my wife and I wanted to use it. I went to go tanning today to get ready for a vacation in two weeks and I wanted to get the usual one point and be on my merry way. Well, they changed to a membership only option so I had to go through a whole ten minute sales pitch about my options. The only option I had that was not obnoxiously priced and I could do the full time in the lowest level bed cost me a total of 98$ for a one month usage. I am only able to go tanning about five times and don't plan on going when I get back from vacation; I told them this from the very beginning. After I signed my contract, they then informed about their new policy about how I have to purchase eye protection for an extra six dollars and how I have to show them I have them every time I come in. Celeb membership, worth it if you have the time and understanding that it's also an investment and products/routine defiantly help. Management after covid changed, my skin started to break out, and I felt stuffy after going for my multi bed routine. I left my head phones out and over heard multiple times about being too busy to get the cleaning done, while I was noticing it a little too, so I chatted and realized the negativity but your judgement should be with your own experience. The employees are savvy turning over and sorting what bed is available or upcoming, so friendly and and welcoming. Decent color with the spray, new bulbs often enough. Offering plenty of lotion choices and worth it, some get pricey but the hydrated bronze is wonderful, get the mit too, it is so butter with the application. read more

I just want to reach out and tell you how amazing Miranda is. Every time I come in she remembers me and asks about specific details on my life (she remembers who I am as a person and is genuinely insteated in how I am doing) . I don't normally do this but she is a fantastic person and she deserves credit for how hard she works. You can tell how committed she is to making sure every customer is happy. I will come in with questions about my sensitive skin, not wanting oily lotion, not wanting too much bronzer, etc, and Miranda will have the best suggestions. She also backs it up with clear knowledge of the product and can give me the best lotion suggestions for me. I can't express in words how much I love to see her when I come in to tan, but she seriously deserves a raise! I've seen her training girls in too and she handles it so well. You have hired a keeper! Also, Cameron at the Woodbury location is amazing. She has gotten to know me as a regular and has even offered to model for me as I am a photographer.
