First off -- it's BYOB... and we definitely took advantage of that! It made the whole experience even more relaxed and fun. The two hours completely flew by. The instructor was incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging, which made the class enjoyable whether you're brand new to pottery or have some experience. The other couples in our class were great too -- it created such a welcoming and easygoing atmosphere. We each made three pieces during the class, which was more than we expected and made it feel like a really great value. A few weeks later, we came back to paint our pieces. The owner took the time to explain how different glazes react depending on the type of pottery, firing temperatures, and drying process. That insight really mattered -- it helped us make better choices, and our finished pieces came out absolutely gorgeous. After one final week of firing, our pottery was ready for pickup -- and seeing the finished results was so rewarding. Overall, the entire experience was thoughtfully run, creative, fun, and well worth the money. We highly recommend Magnolia Mudroom for a date night or even just a unique experience with friends. My package was never sent out. I've been trying to get a hold of the owner for 5 hours now and she will not respond to me. A few months ago she sold me a defective shirt and she promised me she would remake it. For weeks and weeks she told me she was waiting on the materials to make it and she still never upheld her promise and never made the shirt for me. The shirt I recently ordered is a holiday shirt and because she still has yet to send it out, it will probably not make it here in time for the holiday. I wanted my child to at least wear the shirt twice but now she wont be able to at all. The owner is way over worked and can not keep up with business and because of that the turn around time is insanely stupid. Never ordering from them again.
