Where do I begin? DO NOT GO HERE!! The manager is a vile human being and after reading other reviews I'm baffled as to how he is still running this business. Myself and 9 other family members visited for a Sunday lunch. I am a vegetarian and ordered the vegan nut roast which once arrived was full of rice which was disgusting and the whole meal was bone dry. This was also served with tomato pasta sauce on the side which seemed like a very odd thing to serve a roast dinner. I asked for some gravy with no meat in, and this is where the problems began. He raised his voice at me, telling me all gravy has beef stock in (incorrect). He then put the menu in my face and raised his voice telling me it says it comes with the tomato sauce and that I shouldn't have ordered it.... Ignoring the fact it was disgusting and dry. I asked for my food to be taken away as I couldn't eat the dry meal as it was not edible. Another family member had the same meal and issue but after the managers outburst, did not feel comfortable expressing so had 3 bites and left the rest. When the bill came, he charged us for my meal regardless of the above and refused to take it off. I have never experience anything like this in a restaurant and I'm embarrassed for the business owner, if it is not himself. We told him because of the above, we would not be paying for my meal and it should have been deducted from the bill. His violent and disgusting manor then presented itself even more, he shouted at every member of my family and got into my uncles face after he told him to stop speak to me in such an aggressive way. Not that it should make a difference on how you speak to customers or people in general but I am pregnant and this experience left me extremely distressed and I don't know how this man sleeps at night. We eventually paid for what we had, a total bill cost of almost £300, minus my meal and got up to leave. Once he realised, he begun to say ' this is a small price to never have to see your faces in here again ' and the abuse continued for several minutes as we was leaving. He also refused to tell us his name because it was irrelevant...just like his existence in my opinion. I wish I had recorded the whole thing to be able to show just how hideous this man was to me and my family, instead I write this review to warn others about visiting this restaurants. After reading some other recent reviews, Apparently violence and abuse comes free with every meal ordered! How is this ok...? This small man is a bully, potentially little man syndrome and I'm still in shock by our experience a week later. The other staff members were lovely, polite but also look completley terrified of their manager. read more

While ordering our food, our daughter popped to the Loo. Unfortunately, whilst in there a poor lady was violently sick...not making it to the toilet in time & my little one come back let say 'splashed' As we had only just ordered, i told our server we could no longer eat as we needed to get home & changed- to which he asked us "what did we want him to do about it" We had literally just placed our order, he expected us to stay & sit there with our daughter, wet () Maybe even a voucher to come back another time would have been better than having to pay for food we couldnt receive. Understand its not their fault, or the ladys, or ours....im just extremely frustrated that we had to pay even though we had to leave, no fault of our own. read more

We went soon after it opened and poor Stephane started smoking again that very night, poor fella. We waited over an hour for our booked table. But I think that was opening problems and trying to spin tables 3 times a night. The food was OK bar the waitresses hair in my wifes main. It says it is open Kitchen but most of the food is produced elsewhere and reheated in the kitchen it seems and there is no way the mini brigade in there can be producing what they produce. Service ranged from the rather dippy waitress we first had, to the excelent service given by Rosie who is the consumate pro even at her young age. Place itself is very nice, but crowded. We will be back again soon for another go and another review, hope it does better than the 6 out of 10 we would give it now read more

I visited this restaurant in a group of 8 and the service was great! The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious. However, I felt that my starter was too big and my main course was too small. The food very well presented and everyone enjoyed all 3 courses. The price was as reasonable as can be for a fine restaurant with half the party drinking and the other half on soft drinks. I'd definately go again although it's best saved for special occasions. read more

Went to celebratemy daughters birthday , granted the restaurant was busy but not an excuse for such poor service. The staff really could not be bothered. We were not offered additional drinks, there was not a smile to be seen. The food was excellent but not all our order arrived together, four meals arrived and had to be started to avoid them going cold whilst i waited for my mealto arrive. no apology! It was a very cold day and we were sat by the door so exceedling draughty I had to get my coat to wrap round my legs do quite uncomfortable. again staff not at all bothered, not even an acknowlegement . such a shame as the service did not live up to the quality of the food. Would not recommend or go back. But then I don't suppose the staff will be that bothered! read more

I went to Toulouse sunday evening and was not impressed at all,I didn't fancy much on the menu, but settled for a soup with croutons and gruyere cheese, the croutons must have been bought, they weren't light, crispy like I expected them to be, the soup itself was honestly the worst soup I've ever eaten, it was a fish soup, the fish had a horrible texture, it wasn't at all what I thought it woul be like, for the soup alone I would give it a 2 out of 10 and that's being generous! For mains I ordered salmon fillet with vegetables and dauphonise, I love dauphonise potatoes these potoes weren't bad, although far too much olive oil was put into it, which wasn't very appealing, it was literally drenched in it. My parents ordered garlic 'bread'with cheese, instead they were served what was toast with garlic butter and grated cheese, that hadn't even been melted, it was just awful. The waiter was rather rude, as soon as we walked in his manerism seemed cold, and not engaging or attentive, I will not be returning to Toulouse, and I recommend anyone who enjoys good quality food with a good ambience and friendly waiting staff to give this establishment a miss! read more

I wanted to score some brownie points with my girlfirend and booked a romantic meal for two on a Saturday night. We were warmly welcomed and found the atmosphere very relaxing yet alive. The food was incredible from start to finish I had the cassoulet which was exquisite and my partner had the sea bass which she loved! We both had the house signature desert which was the bread and butter pudding and anyone that hasn't tried this must - really really nice. We had a wonderful evening and my girlfriend was thrilled. read more
