Overpriced and poorly installed system -- avoid…read more I spent $1,100 on a Pioneer stereo install at Ricky Smith Audio for my 2011 Toyota Sequoia. The original quote was $900, but they later added costs for "required" harnesses. Within two months, the rear-view camera they installed stopped working during the daytime. Shortly after, the steering wheel controls began cutting in and out before failing completely. After less than three years, the entire stereo shorted out. A certified installer who replaced it said it was "one of the worst installs" he'd seen and confirmed that the poor wiring likely caused the failure. For the price charged, the workmanship and reliability were unacceptable. If you care about quality or longevity, take your business elsewhere. The premium pricing at Ricky Smith Audio doesn't match the quality of their work.

On top of that, when I received my vehicle back I lost audio functionality to my rear seat entertainment system after I specifically clarified before I dropped the car off. I dropped the car again to ultimately find out that there was nothing they could do about it. "That was my mistake. I'm sorry." and that is all. I ended up paying $1100 to lose functionality in my car. Unfortunately there is a significant lack of expertise in their field. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Chris did an excellent field repair to get it on the road and able to make it to our Florida destination with no further problems. They rejected my appointment of Geaux Registered Agent because I had inputted the incorrect business name (shoulda been Registered Agents Inc.). A wonderful woman named Abby called me up and helped me resolve that problem. So I tried again. The website auto-populates the agent's address but includes the Suite number in the first line of that address. It then, inexplicably, asks you to input your agent's address manually, with a separate field for the Suite number. If you take the bait and fill in that "Suite" field, your application will be rejected because it isn't precisely the same as the auto-generated address. Abby helped me to identify and resolve that problem too. Well worth the price, great value!
