I like checking out the other store for trading card games and events, then coming here when I'm ready to pick up games, collectibles, or gifts. Over the years I've bought plenty of video games, Funko Pops, puzzles, and board games here. They always seem to have a great selection, whether you're looking for something in English or French, games for kids, or collector cards like Pokémon. I usually end up finding something I didn't know I needed! The staff have always been friendly and the store is easy to browse. If you're a gamer, collector, or just looking for a fun gift, it's definitely worth stopping in and having a look around.

I would need to go back multiple times to really absorb everything that they have. Puzzles, Star Wars Lego, Funko Pop! Toys.... the list goes on. If you're looking for something different for a gift idea, this would be a fun spot to look. Believe me, it was so, so hard to leave the Lego Simba behind! The prices seem to be the same as you would find elsewhere but it is definitely worth checking out before buying the item elsewhere. It's quite a narrow store as are many of the shops along Wellington but it has a good vibe to it. Overall, it's a fun stop that I would return to.

Un employé m'a informé que je ne pouvais pas rester jouer et m'a remboursé. Il m'a dit que c'était en lien avec l'avis négatif que j'avais laissé il y a 3 ans. Je trouve ça très décevant d'être encore pénalisé 3 ans plus tard pour avoir simplement partagé une mauvaise expérience. Au lieu d'essayer de s'améliorer et de bâtir une communauté de TCGs, j'ai l'impression que Chez Geeks préfère écarter les clients qui ne vont pas dans leur sens. Pour être nuancé : le prize pool offert par le magasin est excellent, probablement un des meilleurs que j'ai vus. Mais soyez conscients de l'attitude du magasin face aux avis qui ne leur plaisent pas. Entre mon expérience passée (mauvaise attitude du patron, communication difficile et frais de shipping trop élevés) et celle d'aujourd'hui, je recommande aux clients de bien réfléchir avant d'encourager Chez Geeks. Je suis honnêtement déçu de la situation. C'était une bonne occasion de me faire changer d'avis sur le magasin, mais ça confirme mon point encore plus. Most of the games on offer are European styled games, and so a lot of popular franchises are unavailable in store. Games more often found on popular game sites are unavailable here, as they have a very narrow minded and mainstream selection of board games. If you want to buy quality board games, do some research and buy your products online. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, but you won't be able to find good board games here, at this store.

The owners really have an issue if you enter and do not buy anything. I have bought 2-3 times books from this store before and I have entered quite a few times without buying, triggering frown on the owner`s face. The last time I was there my son wanted to see a book. We opened the first page and just read the title and the first sentence aloud to get a sense and see if it sounds interesting. Less than 10 seconds later the owner came and started screaming at me in very broken French that this is not a library and they have come here from China to make business. The book was in mint condition and while I tried to explain that I am just looking at it and considering buying a book, and that all the book stores normally are fine with customers looking at books before buying them, I was interrupted again and showered with another blurt of anger from both the owner and her husband so I left quite disappointed at the lack of basic customer service skills. Don`t touch any book otherwise you will be treated to a nice selection of broken French explaining you why you cannot enter their store unless you buy something. I guess in some parts of the world that is called business....

Modern stylish decor with friendly staff who there to help serve your gaming needs. They've got card games (mostly Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering), board games (Catan series) and a whole bunch of toys and figurines. Like most card stores, they've got tables set up for card games and they hold tournaments, too.

I really liked the store presentation with the bins of legos in the back to "create your own set". Kudos on setting up different work shops for kids to play with some legos. Some of the presentations were really impressive and for some these legos can be a real project with thousand of pieces to build. I felt the pricing for the most things here insane and I'd advise shopping ahead of time, finding something you want and check alternative ways to purchase these sets.

Only to entice you to buy the kit and possibly loose your remaining sanity on the Death Star. Be aware that this location gets overly packed at every major kid friendly holiday.
