I do love a great Visitors Center as the people who work there are knowledgeable about the area and can give ideas on things to do. I have been to the city of Houma on several occasions and was unsure if they could suggest something I had not heard of, but they have! LUMCON is the place I had not heard of, but they gave many other recommendations and a whole bag of brochures and pamphlets. I recommend this to anyone new or visiting this area. They have so much to offer on things to do in the area. Make this the first stop. read more
