Nice to find an information center in the old city. If you're visiting the city, you most likely going to be nearby so might as well stop in for some tips. I got some helpful information and some local recommendations. read more

The tour, almost 2 hours long, covers a wide variety of areas and history: from the details of the Market Square, Ratuja and their respective histories, to the Jewish area, the Quarter of the Four Denominations; to the funky artsy murals you will never find on your own; through the winding streets heading to the beautiful architecture of the University, and the surprising, lovely, peaceful garden of the museum and library [hint: there is an indoor garden that is just as large as the outside one, but it was closed on the 11/11 holiday], to the sidewalk with the centuries-long history of Wroclaw displayed in plaques, imbedded into the walkway, eventually crossing the river Odra to the Cathedral Isle. Don't miss this tour - so much to learn and to see.

I've requested their services while looking at sites in Wroclaw for my business and for short scheduled trips around town. Michal is also good at guiding you to the best local spots for coffee. A must for international travelers. I look forward to taking a formal tour of the area as a tourist and will no doubt ask Michal to show me the rich history of Wroclaw and, perhaps, the location of the lost gold train.

Wroclaw Glowny is your doorway to the rest of Poland. I was in and out of this train station a number of times either coming from Warsaw, heading to Walbrzych or traveling to Poznan. Signage is well displayed. Lines are generally quick moving. Audio announcements are easy to hear though their English translations leave a little to be desired in terms of pronunciation!

The free breakfast is a plus, but what really brings down the rating is the staff. Most of the time the receptionists were speaking in their cellphones, they seemed much more interested in privet stuffs than helping travelers. I would go back here, but i would really appreciate if upon my next visit the manager educated the staff what costumer service is all about and maybe then my rating would go up.

We were given tickets to get free drinks at the bar and also free wine or cider or something like that for Christmas but we didn't have time to do that. There is a parking garage if you need it there's also street parking. We were treated so well in this hotel. The rooms are very nice the showers are European modern and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is very close to the stop at Galeria Dominikanska which also makes it a great location for getting around the city. As regular here in Wrocalw, I really prefer this area slightly farther from the main square. It is a bit quieter, and it has a more local feel to it. The service here is top-notch. The staff were all nice and helpful. Most seemed to speak a good level of English, and they were tolerant of me muddling through my poor Polish language skills. Breakfast costs 25PLN which is ok, but the fare is standard. It's not the best breakfast in town, but it isn't the worst. When you're in town on a holiday weekend, you might prefer to just eat at the hotel instead of worrying about what will be open or not. I typically like to buy something small to eat from a shop, and this probably would have been possible, but I enjoyed my breafast. The room itself was clean and orderly if not small. I didn't love the design of the shower. It seemed like I was spraying water all over the place. But there was hot water - always a plus! In my opinion this is a perfect place if you're coming to Wroclaw for business or just need a place to sleep while you're out exploring all day.
