Made the mistake of buying a cake from their case. It was stale and tasted days old and cost ~$30.00. Was so disappointing as their other stuff has been very good and fresh. We love their red bean buns, cheese bites, and danish pastries with ham in the middle. After reading the other reviews here I will make sure to order a cake next time and see if they can live up to the hype. They should not sell stale cakes at these prices though. Loved the packaging and they provdided tinfoil wrapped candles and a knife free of charge! Also visually speaking, the cakes are incredible. Will try again sometime down the road. read more

Unbeatable! Tous Les Jours is a definite pit stop during any visit to H-Mart! The breads and pastries are delicious and fresh, as are the gorgeous and delicious cakes. The prices are great, and I always have to pick up either a melon pan or a mini mocha cream bread when I come to H-Mart. My friend loves the tuna croquettes, and my husband has a thing for the cool red bean buns - maybe a summer thing? - which have both red bean and whipped cream inside! The staff is always very nice and polite, and they really know their stuff. They can tell you everything about each bun and cake they sell, and they're always happy to help. Also, the patbingsoo (shaved ice) is phenomenal. Try it out with a friend if you have a chance - it's huge! It's only available in the summertime, but it's worth the wait. read more

I got the kimchi croquette (hot) and red bean donut (cold) Kimchi croquette: airy fried dough exterior and spicy sour chopped kimchi on the inside-it's somewhat greasy but not dense, and thus satisfying but does not make you feel sick afterwards. Red bean donut: sugar coated bread covering red bean paste. I thought the dough would be like Japanese donuts and be made of rice flour and have a more Mochi like texture but alas. This is nothing special and my mom's home made red bean buns are much better. I wish I chose something else like honey brick toast or packaged cheese custard bread. I love all of the breads there! It is a French - Japanese style bakery. The sales persons are all very polite and friendly. Cakes look beautiful and tasteful too. High quality bakery with seamless French style display with full of breads. I bet this is the best place to purchase good breads and fancy cakes in town. Their breads could be great snacks for school kids, because most of breads are individually wrapped. I recommend "cheese balls" for little ones. Coffee Kaya - well that sounds exotic. Keyword: sounds. In reality, Coffee Ka-yuck! Kudos for the attempt, but the battle of those two flavors ends in a tragic concoction. Chocolate Crossaint - the bread-chocolate ratio was a little off. A jungle of crumb with little elongated chocolate boogers hidden, although those are some tasty boogers. Whipped cream brioche - when West meets East, nope, not Maggie Q. This Asian influenced French bread was merely a paste of lard-like cream embedded in dry crumb. But for what you get the prices in my option are right on. There are to many yummy thing here to mention. But the sausage Buns are incredible. This bakery is dangerous. After a shopping spree (or at least what felt like one) at H-Mart it's hard not to stop by Tous Le Jours on the way out. Every pastry I've devoured so far has been over-the-top delicious, yet the simplistic at first sight. For example, their Cheese Bread has wheat flour milk sugar (not many ingredients and you can read and understand them all) and it's SO GOOD. Cream cheese filled soft and delicious bread, it didn't even make it home. You definitely need to come on a weekend when they have a full selection of all their breads. Yesterday I stopped by in the afternoon and I'm not sure if everything was just bought or there wasn't much selection due to the day/time. I'm in the middle of a new (but intense) love affair with Tous Les Jours. It's also a bit of a ménage à trois. Scandalous, I know. But I share my love for Tous Les Jours with my boyfriend. Now normally, I'm of the "what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine" mentality, but breakfast at Tous Les Jours is something that we always share equally. This is because we never sit down for less than four pastries, and having an eating partner makes me feel marginally less judged. (Also, I love the guy or something, I dunno.) ANYWAY. We arrive first thing in the morning, before all of the food is even on display, and we go straight to the counter. They already know what we want: croquettes. My favorite are the regular ones, but there are tuna and curry ones too. Freshly fried, they're light and crunchy on the outside, coated with golden brown panko. The innards are fabulously savory, with tons of onion and celery and garlic. In the mood for sweets instead? My favorite of those is definitely the sweet potato pie one. We've tried a bunch of em -- maple pecan, sweet almond, coffee something -- but we always come back to the sweet potato pie. It's sweet, but substantial. Lots of the other pastries are beautiful to look at it, but they're just too light to be satisfying. I'm a growing girl, ok? That fluffy croissant is cute and all, but that just ain't gonna cut it. It's like eating a puff of air. Even some of the more satisfying-sounding ones could use some more filling (looking at you, maple pecan). Because it's right there near the entrance of the food court, there's a steady stream of people purchasing from this bakery. That helps ensure that all the stuff is really fresh. There really isn't a shortage in the types of bread you want. My current favorite is the red bean loaf. They also have a good selection of cakes for all occasions. I got a really good mocha cake that was quite the hit. They carefully pack the cake and even give you a plastic cake cutter. Now that's quality service right there. read more

I like Paris Baguette better but the fact they have this close to me is nice. Technically the other Hmart is closer to me in Cambridge but driving is easier especially when you're going grocery shopping. Not gonna lug all my groceries on the T, sorry!!!! And driving in Cambridge would be an absolute nightmare. The pizza bread is my favorite, and the THE+ milk bread is really good too. The cakes look yummy so I'm going to have to get one of them sometime for a birthday when I'm away from home. I believe I bought about 6 items (chocolate croissant, cranberry cream cheese bun, the milk bun, a croquette, the honey toast, and this ham and cheese croissant). Everything was delicious! The chocolate croissant lacked chocolate though, but I'm willing to overlook that because everything else was so good. At the end saying that sorry it is too early, therefore you have to pay for it now, not when you pick up. This is a guilty pleasure but a must. Not only do they have coffees and teas, the also have a pretty big selection of baked goods. From delicious savory baked goods like ham and cheese croissants to kimchi or curry kare or buns. Those go quick and stay hot in a warmer. Must try! Sweet baked goods like milk buns to their pain au chocolat. I find it very difficult to leave without one of everything because it really is that good and FRESH! Coffees and teas usually take some time to make so expect a wait. Lines are typical but they ring up people fast. Love this place! read more

Walking into Tous Les Jours is like walking into a bakery art museum accompanied by extraordinarily tempting smell, it's filled with amazing mousse and cake creations that's so gorgeously designed and plated. Almost too pretty to eat! The rest of the bakery is also filled with goodies, chocolate croissants, mocha creme breads, and milk buns are fluffy and delicious. Fresh bread that's baked daily, each one of them is consistently made with spectacular presentation and flavor. I tried almost everything here and loved every single one of them. The chocolate croissant is amazing, the bread is fluffy with slight crisp on the outside, the swirls of chocolate on top are ample but not too sweet. The croquettes - hot bakery with fried dough on the outside and fillings inside, are definitely unique. Dishonest! Got a bun and as I paid at the cashier, I vaguely remember that the price they charge is different from the price displayed on the tag. I went back to the rack to check and found that they have indeed overcharge me. I talked to the cashier and she said whatever the machine charged is the price that I had to pay. I told her that the price on display is different. She went to the rack and said I must be looking at the wrong tag. I asked her which tag is the right one, she showed it to me which WAS the one that I looked at before) and so the price was lower than the one she charged me. As I pointed that out to her, she QUICKLY took the tag out from the display, hid it in her hand and said to me "what tag? There is no price display here." It was a small difference but for this kind of dishonest and fraudulent business practice, I will NEVER go back and will share this story with as many of my friends. read more
