They said they don't know I was so confused why.. I think they don't want us getting out in that tiny apartment! Since we saw 4/3 apartments available, I think they want us to be there it's so tiny!! I have 3 kids the oldest one is 14 the middle one is 8 and my baby is almost one month old and my kid is 18 years old! me and my husband are confused why! they did not gave a reason why and did not let me call the manager why did we not get approved! I rented an apartment through PPM for two years with two other sets of parents for our three…read morecollege age boys. The PPM staff were condescending, rude and absolutely not willing to provide customer service. When it was time to move the boys out, we cleaned the apartment for two days, following the ridiculous list that PPM provides. My wife physically washed every bit of molding and scrubbed every window track completely, according to the instructions given by PPM. We scrubbed, vacuumed, dusted, had a professional carpet cleaner do the floors, etc. It was MUCH cleaner when we left than it was when we moved in originally. Still, PPM charged 5 hrs of cleaning against the deposit. They nickeled and dimed $500 worth of charges against the $1000 cleaning deposit. They charged $67 to change the furnace filter! If you use them, just know that they will be rude to you, they will not provide any customer service and they will keep as much of your cleaning deposit as they can regardless of what you do.

The repeatly took advantage of confused 80+ years old whom one is confirmed with Alzheimer's disease and the other with dementia. The latter mistakenly was over paying the rent which HPM willingly took and when a family member asked HPM what the rent amount was supposed to be they told her that it was the incorrect amount even thou the lease clearly stated the correct amount. New lease that was submitted for them to accept and it demanded that they put water, sewer and garbage plus electric bill in their name FOR BOTH units! There is a long list of disconnect notices for utilities that they were not liable for over the years. I don't if they are incompetent or deceitful but either way if you use them watch your check book.

It was dirty and I have pictures to prove everything. When I moved out, the house was spotless, but because there was two broken blinds in the house from the kids and animals apparently that constituted them keeping my $2000 security deposit. The house is definitely not up to code, holes in the walls doors that had been kicked in from a previous tenant. Just don't rent from them they will screw you over and keep your money trying to charge you more.

When you submit a work order, it takes them forever to get it fixed or repaired. Quality is poor. Value for what you pay vs what you rent is poor. I would NOT recommend anyone rent from this agency!!
