Young lady who took our order very personable & attentive.. order filled in a timely & calm manner . I ordered the Fungus Amungus burger ( sautéed mushroom burger w Swiss) w regular fries .. truly enjoyed it.. was prepared just as I asked .. was delicious as were the yummy fries . Hubby ordered wings & fried pickles he was not disappointed at all either. Young lady checked on us a couple of times to see if all was ok or if we needed anything . Great customer service !! Been here several times and upon today's visit, the establishment has changed its way of ordering. The customer is now waited on by staff, which in my opinion you now have to tip. Sometimes I want to eat at a fast-casual dining place because often times there is no requirement for tipping. I'm not saying this to be cheap or a miser, but the tipping culture is out of hand. Stopped here on our way to South Padre Island last Thursday. My family had been here before and raved about it. They were not wrong! The burgers are big enough that two can split one. After a very disappointing visit several months ago, we decided to revisit Tower Burger. The tables were cleared and wiped down. The burgers came out in a timely manner. Burgers were excellent. The only critique is the fries are still lacking. They were just barely warm and still too soggy with fry oil. We ate a few but...ehhh Paola is the example of how waitstaff should be. Great burgers! Small menu so options are limited but they're really scrumptious and juicy burgers that a small menu is great! I chose only four stars because the nicely thin fried onion rings were a tad greasy. Check out the pics! I ate here a while back so I don't remember everything in my burger: It was juicy! The burgers are delicious! Presentation was nice, service was great, and food wast tasty. We got the loaded fries and fried pickles for appetizers and they served more than i expected and were both really good :) I got the tower burger medium rare and although the meat could've used a bit more seasoning, the quality of the meat was still really good. My bf got La jefa and was very tasty as well. The fries were also savory and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place! read more

This is strictly on The wings. There's a Wednesday deal .25c only 1 flavor 8 wing max per person and only dine in or take out but in person order only. Was debating between XO and the Seoul Sauce....waitress was nice enough to offer samples of the sauce. Honestly the seoul sauce was more tangy rather than spicy. When I think and see Korean inspired sauces, gochagang is what I visioned at least tasting and seeing that deep red color. The sauce wasn't closed to what I thought it would be. The XO sample was a bit sweet so I ended up trying the Seoul sauce but light on it. I still like the sample and curious how it would be on the wings. Wings definitely are a great value for Wednesday deal and probably would be back to try some of the other flavors. Nice crunch more like a tempura batter that is used for the wings. read more

Ridiculous service. We were inside ordering at 7:30. They close at 8. We were told that 9 out 10 tables were "closed" already so we were forced to sit right beside the two other groups of people - in the middle of a pandemic. We all ordered drinks so we could get tea. When we got to the serving station, there was no tea at all. We asked to please get some tea made and he absolutely refused. We asked for a refund on the drinks and he absolutely refused. The food was fine but the service was absolutely absurd and ruined the whole experience. Ranch House burger has better food and incredibly better service. Food is good. Restaurant could stand to be cleaned. Multiple tables were dirty, floor was dirty, tea dispenser was empty and we saw a small cockroach on one of the benches. During the 45 mins we were here for dinner no one came out to bus the tables. read more

Tower burger is quickly expanding across the valley, and good for them. It's great to see a successful local business. They are still in the "soft open" stage at the McAllen location and are working out some kinks, but when they get all systems firing this is going to be a great addition to McAllen. We have been needing a good burger place. There were a couple of small issues like the fries not being up to the standards of their Alamo location. But the manager was happy to listen to this feedback as they are still training the cooks. I look forward to reviewing again in a few weeks. FANTASTIC. Stopped by to get a quick bite and let me tell you it was worth the stop. It's a little hidden, but when I went in it was a line almost to the door. The wait wasn't to long to order and the food came out fairly quickly. The buns were soft and crisp and to were the veggies(love that). I was there last night at the N. McAllen location. The place was empty yet the service was still disappointing. They close at 8 pm on a Friday night and we got there at 7:15. By this time they had already run out of sweet tea and we were told they wouldn't be making anymore. They also ran out of bread for my daughter's burger and so they served it on Texas toast. When our "loaded fries" came out, we found out that they had also run out of some of the toppings....c'mon!! I get it sometimes you get a rush if business but Close the place early or warn us upfront if you don't have the inventory available. They were also posting a special hotdog all over Instagram which is why initially decided on the place...but guess what... they only had one left! I personally think this is unacceptable. Our burgers weren't hot , the bacon was soggy, and they just seemed to lack the flavor that we were used to experiencing at Tower burger. We prefer to support local restaurants but Sadly, we will think twice before returning here in the future! read more

Our family went to this place last Friday around 7pm ..never been there so we want it to try it and this is the type where you order and pay right away is not a topical restaurant so the person taking the order was not very friendly and didn't say welcome or didn't explain the menu so we order our food and it was closed to 75 dollars worth of it then we waited like 40 minutes for our food to be served so the restaurant was not full there was only a few other tables with people also waiting for their food ..then after finally getting our food the hamburger were super dry and almost burned I went and ask for the manager and they said sorry they were short handed and then I ask if I could have jalapeños and they said it will be $1 plus tax and I was very disappointed and I try to speak with manager and all they said was sorry ..so I really wouldn't recommend this place just because the way they handle the situation.
