    Train station on lower level

Tower City Center Mall is a huge building that encompasses a city court building, Casino, local novelty shops, Ritz Carlton Hotel, a train station on the lower level and a food court! The food court has a unique variety of choices for everyone. Service is quick and friendly. Prices and quality are pretty good! There are plenty of places to sit and relax. This building also connects to Rocket Mortgage Field house via indoor walkway.

Tower City Center doesn't hold a lot of stores anymore. It's pretty empty and doesn't have a lot of business. It does need some updating and maintenance. It's a classic in the area, but unfortunately needs some TLC.

Visited Tower City Center for the first time in a while with my family. We were watching the Cleveland Air Show nearby and we decided to walk around downtown. My kids were hungry, so we went to the food court in Tower City Center. As we walked through, I noticed most of the stores have gone out of business. And most of the restaurants in the food court have closed. There were only four restaurants in business on the day we visited. The place is beginning to fall into disrepair also. At least the bathrooms worked. We'll see if Cleveland ends up demolishing this building as part of a larger plan to revamp the riverfront. In any event, something needs to be done here because this place is a ghosttown.

This tower is deceiving. I thought it was some judicial building or something. It's a shopping center and a business center. This may have been prominent in its younger days Currently under going slight renovations and such. They have so much potential, but with the city exploration done. I see why it has lost its grand moments. Cleveland is not a torusity town. Nor does it seem to be a downtown night life driven area. Meaning the foot traffic with the area is very low. I think if they can determine how to get tourists to come or attract the younger members to live downtown. Such centers as tower city can become amazing again. South potential. It will then attract people and business. Either way the architecture is amazing and for those who don't mind looking at that will enjoy. Don't focus on the shops and ementities as much. Quiet beautiful!!!

I loved coming here for years. It's the heart of downtown in my eyes. There are places to eat and shop. The public transportation (RTA) is also located downstairs and they have their own parking area also. This is a very good location to visit for the holiday with all the events they have.

An urban shopping center like this is becoming rarer or closing. It still looks pretty nice. Tower City Center is like a mall in an office building, with mostly chain stores. Business is kind of slow with most of the stores empty. You should still come see it because of the cool fountain. Before this used to be a very popular place to go in Cleveland. It was popular when more people used to go downtown. There's been a little bit of a revival around the area with the casino they opened next to it. It still feels pretty empty. There's a lack of enough open stores. A good thing is the convenience. There's an RTA station here, so you can get to downtown and not have to find parking. Architecture in here is pretty awesome. Sitting in front of the fountain is the coolest thing about this. A large pool and fountain is on the first floor. The food court is the busiest area, with mostly fast food stuff. Around this are the stores, or the spaces where these used to be. The remaining stores sell lots of cheap useless stuff it seems. It may not be a good place anymore but there's some good things around it. Jack Casino is located next to it. There's a walkway connecting to a parking garage, Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena that makes this place useful.

This place is a ghost town and a shell of its former self. Absolutely nothing worth seeing here. The food court is deserted save for 4-5 places and with the exception of 6-7 t-shirt shops and boutique places, the rest of the shops are empty and boarded up. An indoor "park" now covers the once beautiful fountain. I remember when this place was vibrant. Sadly, the way people shop today has made malls a dying breed, let alone ones located in urban city centers. Riffraff and crime didn't help this place either. Other than using this place as a transit hub, just walk on through. Nothing to see here anymore except ghosts of the past.

This is located downtown and houses a mall, movie theater, casino, food court and access to trains. There are very few shops in comparison to what you would expect in a mall, but it is nice to have them available when you are downtown and do not have time or access to go to suburban shopping malls. It is pretty at Christmas time as they decorate well.

    Rebecca M.

I found that this mall has most of the stores I have been to in other malls. Nothing stuck out as positive or negative that way. They do have a lot of pretty fountains and lovely glass ceilings. The floors were crack in some of the places but I would imagine it's from the mass about of people going through to get to the train station underneath.

    Debbie R.

This looks like it was once a beautiful place. It still has elements of great architecture and design. But otherwise, it's like a creepy dead mall. Even the fountain was closed. There are several security guards milling about, yet we still felt very unsafe. I do not recommended.

Dint get to explore much but been here just to ride the RTA.The center is so big with huge ceiling which depicts grandeur . Lot of retail shops and Food Spots can help kill a lot of your time if you have. Pros: --------- 3 min walk from Public Square Spacious Clean RestRooms In Downtown RTA station Underground

There were once two standalone arcades, the Colonial (built in 1898) and Euclid (build in 1911). These two structures were combined into the 5th Street Arcades. These arcades hold a lot of history and retail. AMBIANCE: The 5th Street Arcades are adorned with history - ornate ceilings and trims. Don't forget to look up and take in all the beauty. The space includes two walkways accessible from the Euclid Avenue and near East 4th. Should you use a ride share, consider the existence of various entrances. Arcades include retail and dining. There are only a handful of businesses. I most recommend Geraci's pizza (delicious pizza in diner setting), Intro (for fun outfits for your downtown outings), Coco's Selfie Studio (for documenting your family's moment), Rocket Fizz (for candy nostalgia), and Colossal Cupcakes (for the most Instagrammable sweets). You'll also find something very nostalgic - shoe shine! Ensure that you check the working hours of these establishments, most stores remain closed on weekends and have odd hours. Check retail and dining directory on the 5th Street Arcades website. HOLIDAY MARKETS: The 5th Street Arcades will be hosting Holiday Makers Market this Christmas season. They will be on weekends - Saturdays and Sundays. PARKING: Parking is available at various parking lots downtown (Euclid Avenue or by E 4th Street). If you're staying as a tourist in the city, it's an easy walk from all the hotels on Euclid Avenue. Personally, I enjoy the 5th Street Arcades for the architectural experience and not so much the businesses. There is nothing in the building that would consistently keep me coming back. The Arcades now stand mostly deserted. It would have been great to see them years ago in their full vibrancy.

I remember when City Goods was just born, and I first spotted their construction from the Church & State apartment rooftop. I figured that they must be new little homes, but they were actually shops full of local goods. I didn't even know what a hangar was until seeing these futuristic looking U shaped shops. The space recently transitioned from Ohio City ownership to the ownership of the founder (Sam Friedman of Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve). It's such an interesting destination in the city. NEW CREATIVE HANGARS: The City Goods used to have seven hangars encapsulating shops and a bar. As the Creative Hangars, the shops have been condensed to a single hangar with goods from about ten makers inside. The remaining hangars are vacant. While smaller scale, the remaining hangar is full of finds and same creative spirit. If you haven't visited in a while, please know that the same level of artistry lives on. MERCHANDISE: I stopped in many times at the former City Goods. I stopped in at the new Creative Hangars concept at the beginning of October. There is so much treasure hidden inside - shirts with local flair, pottery, wooden art, tees, cards, jewelry, tea, decor, baseball caps, and skincare. The first floor is full of souvenirs and CLE-spirited merch. Clothing goes up to XL. The second floor is devoted to Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve. During my visit I purchased a skin mask and a hair mask for self-care day from Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve. If you haven't used their products or heard their story, you must. It's a high-quality, botanically based local brand. Prices are pretty reasonable across the board considering the uniqueness and talent. I also love that most merch at the hangar features the Hope Memorial Bridge guardians. I love this architecture so much and obsess over everything with the guardians of traffic. SERVICE: The employee working at the store is also a jewelry vendor. She's so lovely and welcoming. I talked to her for a long time about the hangars' transition and the makers inside this space. It was great to get the human factor behind their merchandise. I feel like these stories often get lost at local shops. By the way, I learned that new artists' merchandise is welcome into the space in case anyone who is a creator is reading this review. I'd recommend a visit to anyone looking for self-care products or unique souvenirs. If you're visiting Cleveland, stop in to take away something unique to remember your time here. If you're from the Land, you'll love sporting your one of a kind CLE merch at the next sports event. I will be back very soon to shop for more Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve products.

They carry everything from beautiful jewelry to high quality bath and body products as well as Cleveland sports items, clothing, and art.
