Donald, an employee at Becks Towing, does not represent the company in a professional manner. He was argumentative and dismissive toward both my husband and me on two separate occasions regarding my husband's vehicle. Our vehicle was involved in an accident and is not drivable, yet we were told that we would have to pay money and remove the vehicle in order to retrieve my husband's valid Florida license plate. Under Florida law, the registered owner is legally entitled to retrieve their license plate without reclaiming the vehicle, even if it remains at the tow yard. Instead of assisting or providing accurate information, Donald continued to argue and insist on payment, which added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time following an accident. This experience showed a lack of professionalism, customer service, and understanding of legal requirements. I strongly recommend that others know their rights before dealing with this company.
