When my daughter tried to explain, she was told she was being disrespectful and forced to apologize in front of the entire class. My daughter was humiliated. After three weeks, she was so discouraged that she refused to go back. Also, be careful about their refund policy, I cancelled classes on September 25th, but they still billed me for October. When I complained, they refused to give a refund. I ended up paying over $600 for three weeks of classes. It was a really bad experience.

There is an emphasis on diversity and experiential learning starting from whatever level you are at. The staff are so welcoming and eager to share their passion and knowledge. The studio is a designated Autism-Friendly Community with staff and studio trained and verified through the Autism Society of Central VA. They have a weekly Sensory Friendly Hip Hop class that is great for neurodiverse kids. Loads of drop in classes. Everyone is so happy to be there, and the camaraderie is infectious. They make dancing fun for any level. My first interaction with them was a free tango class at a PR event. Their dance and teaching chemistry left me in awe. I knew I wanted to take classes with them at some point. Fast forward to end of 2025. My fiancé (who "does not dance") fell in love with tango after a free trial. I adore dancing so was super excited he was interested. We ended up signing up for their Super Beginner Easy Start Course Tango class that took it as a slow pace for non-dancers. This was the perfect intro. We then decided to sign up for their monthly tango membership where we take their Level 100 classes. At this time, they have Level 100 classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm. After class they do a really cool technique class called Tango Power Start. This place is more than a dance studio, it's a community. They offer milongas too (an Argentine social dance event). My fiancé and I are the type of people who like being able to walk or bus to a place, we live in the city and this is in Midlothian. We love this studio so much that the drive is worth it for us.
