We just ate there for the second time, and this place is terrific. The cornbread appetizer was incredible, and the steak and enchilada I had was top-notch. The steak was soft and tender, very flavorful. Highly recommended. And the lights make the place look pretty (my daughter asked me to add this). read more

This restaurant is fantastic!! We decided to try it today while we were out shopping around. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with a salad on the side. It was absolutely amazing. My family and I visited Towne Grill for dinner last night. From the beginning to the end we had a great experience. Service was fantastic! We ordered the deviled eggs and the fried oysters for appetizers, which were quickly devoured. Entrees were the ahi tuna salad, fish tacos and a burger. Wonderful! The one and only time I had an issue was with a waitress who overcharged me after I had left, however the GM fully refunded me, and I have not seen that waitress there since. This place is extremely professional, classy, and worth the money. They have changed their prime rib to only Friday and Saturday after five but that's ok, the rib eye is FANTASTIC . Everyone I go I get the fried oysters, Delicious and my wife gets the artichoke dip. Their drinks are well balanced and tasty. Had my wife's birthday here, and it's our once a month treat. It's expensive, AF, but it's worth it. Lovely staff and cook and everytime your here I promise you'll enjoy yourself. The alliance burger is also really great. read more

UPDATE: We've been back a few times since this first review and unfortunately the food hasn't been as good, and now the Manager ignores us. The staff has been delightful, however, especially Roxanne and Dillon; they are top-notch and the reason we will try this spot again. Not sure why the Manager is avoiding us however, I thought the first review was a good one. As Houlihan regulars, we were anxiously awaiting the opening to its location replacement, Town Grill, and we were not disappointed. It was worth the wait! So, we've eaten at TG twice now, and each time we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Not everything was perfect, but it will get there in time. Front of the House: From the moment you walk in, several hosts greet you. It's very nice to see that the hosts are paying attention to guests coming and going. They opened the door, greeted people, wished you a good evening, and asked you to come back when you leave. It's clear they've been well trained. The waitstaff is also excellent, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. There also seems to be a lot of teamwork among the servers. Ambiance: It was nice to walk into the TG and experience a familiar setup, but it's clear the new owners have classed it up a bit. I particularly like the upgraded bar and artwork. Management: Each time we dined there, one of the managers came to our table and chatted and made sure everything was up to par. The only thing that would have been a little better is if they would have introduced themselves as a manager. I guess it was apparent, but I would have liked to know from the start that Matt was the bar manager and Ben was the general manager. BUT, it is so nice to have a manager take an interest in the guest's experience; I'll overlook that! Food: Since we've eaten there twice with two other couples, I can comment on a few items. Fish and chips: Excellent. I understand the type of fish may change for this dish, but when we had it, it was cod. So good, not too much batter, and they served it with malt vinegar with tells me they know fish and chips! The tartar sauce was excellent as well. Chips were string fries, and they were nice as well. Fish Taco's: Excellent. Again, our server said the fish in the fish tacos change as well; the night we had them, it was Mahi Mahi. I like the idea of the fish changing since it's clear they're serving the best fish of the day, rather than sticking with a certain kind of fish regardless of quality. Rotisserie Chicken: Excellent. Our friend had this dish, and he was very happy. He particularly loved the mashed potatoes. Said they were like his grandma made! Fried Oysters: Excellent. We tried to order the fresh oysters, but they were out of them. Not great for a Saturday around 6:30, but hey, lessons learned. The manager was very apologetic and recommended the fried oysters, which we tried, and they were excellent! They were served on a spinach artichoke cream sauce which was so yummy. Mexican Enchiladas: Excellent. Our friend ordered these and was extremely pleased. They were served with beans and rice, and fresh lime. Japanese Salmon: Excellent. I ordered this dish but substituted mashed potatoes for the green tea noodle salad. My salmon was excellent, and the mashed potatoes were delicious, served with a nice dollop of butter on top. My salmon still came on the noodle salad, and the mashed potatoes were served as a side dish. That gave everyone a chance to taste the salad, which was very good if you like that kind of salad. There were large pieces of fresh mango and beautiful tomatoes that I enjoyed picking out of the dish. Parmesan Crusted Halibut. Disappointing. The price for this dish is pretty high at $34.00, but halibut can be pricey. However, what was served was two very thin, dry pieces of fish. Halibut is usually at least an inch thick, but ours was like a flat piece of snapper or tilapia. It almost seemed as if they sliced the halibut in half. Because it was so thin, it was very dry. The flavors were good, though. Looking back, I don't know why my husband didn't send it back, but he didn't. I'm sure they would have given him something else or made the halibut right had we given them a chance. Because of this, I had to deduct a star in the rating. Key Lime Pie: Pricey. Our friends ordered the key lime pie for dessert, and they seemed to enjoy it. They didn't rave, however, and at $9.00 a slice, that seemed pretty steep. Alcohol: Excellent. My husband judges a restaurant by the bar menu, and this one didn't disappoint. There are lots of good drinks, and the bar is well stocked. We ordered gin and tonics, and to our delight, they had Hendrick's gin and Fever-Tree Tonic! We'll be back just for these since that's our favorite combination. So many places may have Hendricks, but they serve it with regular tonic. Fever-Tree makes it ever so special. We'll be back, and I'm sure I'll be giving this place five stars or more very soon. read more

Awesome new place to go. Had the prime rib sandwich which was perfectly done. Being a chef for 30 plus years now I am a bit picky and was very pleased with all their staff. Our server was great and very sincere concern from the manager who followed up on our experience which was 5 star. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back. read more

I had heard about this restaurant opening and was so pleased we gave it a try this evening. My granddaughter summed it up perfectly when she said "I don't feel like we are in Alliance!" There is such a relaxed ambience. We were seated promptly and our waiter was friendly and efficient. The food is amazing! I had the steak salad and my granddaughter had a Caesar salad and macaroni/cheese. It was all so good! Hoping this place can make it. We highly recommend! read more

We only came here bcuz the other restaurants in the area had a long wait and we were hungry. There's like 5 tables here max and the food still took a long time to come out. We ordered a burger and the enchiladas. My enchiladas were decent but they weren't even warm upon arrival. The beans were still a good temperature though. I asked our server if the kitchen could maybe just heat up my food bcuz it was cold, I didn't want another item, I had somewhere to be. She was pleasant enough about it. My problem wasn't with her. the manager was the one who brought my food back out and she never apologized for the cold food and gave me such attitude while handing back my order. I was really confused. As a service worker I understand completely, shit happens. But why are you acting like I'm deliberately doing something to bother you?? Food is okay but kind of overpriced. The atmosphere and food were great. But, the glassware from the kitchen was so filthy that you could feel food particles on your glass when you picked it up for a drink. Twice I asked the server to replace my glass of tea. The four water glasses on the table were just as gross. We could see tiny bits of stuck on food all over them and they also felt gritty. Seemed like they weren't changing out the water supply in the dishwasher. I would have addressed it with a manager but I never saw one. I can't believe someone hasn't gotten sick yet. Eww! I hope they get the sanitation situation corrected ASAP. read more

Went here as referred to by a friend, Did not that everything they have had some type of heat spice added, Jalapeno cream gravy, deviled eggs have Tabasco sauce and chipotle aioli, Order ed d the rotisserie chicken and grilled meat loaf both were good but seemed very lightly seasoned, I suggest you ask for salt and pepper to go with your meal. The chicken was a little overcooked and dry, it is served with pan drippings which had no flavor maybe should put some onion or mushrooms in it. Meatloaf was probably one of the better restaurant qualities I have ever experienced, others I have always sent back as they were dry and leathery, theirs is served with a mushroom demi glaze sauce but just enough for a taste I would suggest to ask for extra. We had mashed potatoes and mac and cheese for our sides, , mashed were dry and stiff, I preferred them on the creamier side and the mac was supposed to be a 6 cheese blend, I tasted a little parm and Romano but not much else but also on the dry side. Our server Jenny was amazing, as we never ran out of drinks. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. Probably would not take kids between ages of 5 through 10, as my 6 y.o grandson would want the chicken with cream gravy, but no Jalapeno in it. Prices are a little high but everything has gone up I will probably go back just to try some other menu items. read more

If I could give their service 0 stars, I would. My girlfriends and I went last night for a moms night out and we're completely disrespected and humiliated by their management and staff. We sat in the bar and all ordered a drink and were so excited to try this place out. I was barely 2 sips into my mule when the female manager came to our table and abruptly asked if we were going to order food. I explained that we just ate dinner next door and just stopped into Towne Grill for drinks as we wanted to check out the establishment. She rudely responded that if we weren't going to order food then we all needed water, insinuating that we were inebriated. Gave us an aggressive hair flip and walked away. Side note, we never got the water she demanded that we needed. I asked the 2 bartenders and male manager why we were treated this way and inquired if we had done something wrong. They claimed we did nothing wrong. Our waitress then came to apologize and when I asked her what happened, her response was that this was a "posh place". That response made the situation even more confusing as we were dressed appropriately and just having a night catching up with friends we hadn't seen in awhile. The female manager came to our table to apologize and her reasoning for her behavior was that she was a sassy person and had been working a long day. That is no reason to treat anyone with unnecessary rudeness and her apology did not seem sincere. Needless to say, this experience was bizarre, uncomfortable and completely embarrassing for no reason. I will definitely not be returning. read more

Tried out this restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved it! The menu had a variety of options to choose from including seafood, American, mexican, and more. I tried the recommended zuni chicken salad and was very impressed. Totally different than something I've had at any other restaurant but loved it.
