The food is cooked by the chief right in front of you and they offer a number of relatively affordable menus with a great variety. My personal favorite is beef teppanyaki, but the foie gras looked amazing as well and all-fish was absolutely great as well. Finally this restaurant has a sort of welcoming family mood where the owners joke with guests (and the owner attaching you the bib right after you get seated definitely contributed to that mood). The cheese wrapped with meat literally tasted like a mozzarella stick wrapped with beef. The chicken had a light terriyaki flavor to it and it was perfectly grilled. I got a Salmon and Tuna Chirashi bowl. The salmon and tuna tasted and looked fresh. I am really picky when it comes to the rice in the Chirashi bowl. The rice was perfectly sweet with just the right amount of vinegar and sesame seeds. The gentleman that took our order was a very sweet older Asian man who spoke French and Mandarin. Their food is really great, particularly the yakitoris. The restaurant is always quite full but we never had to wait to be seated. The service is always decently fast and nice. The restaurant in the heart of Paris, close to the museum of modern art and is very easy to access by subway. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not offer parking and it will be extremely hard to find a parking spot in this area of Paris so I would definitely recommend taking the subway. One good thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere. You can either sit inside or outside, but I would definitely recommend inside, because of the very nice and intimate atmosphere if you sit in the room in the very back.
