Surprised ToysrUs are still operating here in Canada and haven't shut down like their counterpart in the US. This toysr us store is not very big and doesn't carry full inventory. A lot of items are out of stock in the store, forcing you to buy the items online. The store is not always well light as half of the store is dim. Also, it's super warm inside the store. I guess they trying to save electricity cost? Items are super expensive and even when on sale, it's not really a bargain. A lot of their workforce are young and consist of students. Haven't had any issue to price match or return products. Basically, a great store located in the mall for parents to kill time with their kids. read more

Whenever I come to Markville Mall, my kids would love coming in here and they would never want to leave. I mean which kids doesn't like Toys R us? There sell various toys, strollers and baby products, clothing etc. Their products are pretty organized. The one thing that disappointed me before was they had an in store pokemon event for kids advertised online. I marked it down and when I brought my kids there on the day of, they told me that the event got postponed because the shipment didn't come on time. A rare Toys R Us in the GTA and inside a big mall no less! When you walk in there's a section with a lot of party supplies like balloons, disposable dishware, and pinatas. There's a substantial baby section even though it is not advertised as also having a Babies R Us. They have baby friendly toys and also just baby stuff like strollers. The Nerf gun collection is outstanding. There's a ton of licensed stuff from Halo, Fortnite, and even Faze Clan. They have other pretty extra things like ride on Paw Patrol characters and branded cars like Bentleys and Mustangs for the smaller kids. There's also a sports section where you can find kid friendly equipment like the plastic hockey sticks you used to use in gym class, plastic baseball (t-ball?) bats, etc. They do also carry some stuff for older kids including video games for all the major platforms. A few of the Nintendo games were on sale by a couple bucks which was impressive for their IP. read more

I usually drop by this Toys R US when I shop at Markville Mall. It seems to be a smaller location compared to other I had been to. But for kids, browsing rows and rows of toys is always fun regardless. Staff is helpful. I was looking for some Toy Story 4 merchandise, the associate was able to direct me to multiple shelving location in the store. Good for some last minute shopping for your favourite kids or kids at heart if you want to spoil them. read more

This is a great store to bring your kids to play with toys even if that means leaving without anything! Customer service is excellent here as they are very helpful with your needs. Environment is bright and clean for your kids to hang out at. I would bring my kids here. read more

This location is meh - it's a bit cramped and feels more chaotic than some of the other locations I have been to. One of the advantages of this one, is that they are connected to a mall, so there is usually plenty of parking. I'm not so enthused about the checkout area though, and maybe it's better during the weekends than weekdays; but I found that their cash staff to be a bit lacking and disorganized. The Baby section, in general, was poorly kept and it isn't very inviting to shop in - probably due to lack of floor space - they don't have very many models of the larger baby gear items on display and testing. Overall, probably will come here for basic necessities, but go to another store for the larger purchase needs. read more

Toys R Us is located upstairs in Markville Mall and, like other Toys R Us locations, it's huge. When I walk in here, it's ALWAYS busy so be prepared to walk slower in other locations. There's really not a ton of room to walk and with kids running around everywhere, you can't have to kinda be careful as you walk. However, they usually have a ton of stock in whatever they have and, for the most part, have solid prices. When it comes to games, EB tends to have better prices so just a word of warning there. The employees are pretty nice for the most part. With this location being so busy, they actually keep things going along pretty quickly. The lines at the cashier are never terribly long and the place is kept clean, all things considered. Not a bad place to go at all for anything toy related, just be warned that it tends to be really busy unless you go early in the morning. read more

Staff seem to be always friendly here. I've been to the one at Vaughan Mills and the one by Silver City on Yonge, both locations had moody staff. This one located inside Markville Mall is a tad smaller than the other ones, but selection of toys and baby items are still enough! read more

The store itself is good. But the cashier is not friendly at all, he rush everyone, and talking to a customer really loud... err

They have video games, board games, and a decent selection of card games. A nice, organized store.
