As with any job of this size, problems and unexpected surprises did pop up. ECE worked with us to get by those. The project did run longer in time than we would have liked, but in all fairness the weather that year was horrible. We had 25% more rain than average and that set both ECE and all of the subcontractors behind schedule on multiple jobs. Not much you can do about that. ECE did get the job completed before a long planned guest visit so it all worked out in the end. We actually stayed in the house during the renovation which is something I would not recommend for two reasons. First, despite ECE's best efforts to work around us it was still hell on us and second....It created additional problems for the workers as well. I would add the the winter following the completion of the job was the harshest winter in a great many years and we had absolutely ZERO problems with any of the work completed.
