After working with Joel for our special day, it became clear he was not only the best option for our wedding, but him & his team are the ONLY option for weddings. I have been to 15+ weddings in my years and had one myself as well - I've seen live bands, DJs, and everything in between. Joel soars to the top of my list of recommended people after seeing him in action. Pros: - Stress free. Joel made the DJ planning 100% stress free. He allowed us to have as much or as little specific input as possible. I swear he is a mind reader because we merely requested a vibe and I'm not sure we could have built a better playlist ourselves. - Perfect pacing. On the day of, Joel knew his pacing to a T. He made sure to introduce himself and relay important info while making the 1000 micro decisions himself behind the scenes. He kept everything on track beautifully while making sure it was hands off for us. - Quick on his feet. Let's be real - there will always be something mistimed in the itinerary for your day. Sometimes that can be stressful, but Joel made it clear he has been there before. When things went off schedule, he adapted seamlessly. One less thing we had to worry about because we knew he had us covered. - The small things. Joel is customer facing. From grabbing us drinks because he knew we wouldn't have time ourselves, to having mints stocked for the first dance, to weaving in requested songs. There are not enough good things I can say about Track Seven, I would probably surpass any character limit but I will do my best to summarize our experience from the beginning to the end of our special day! From the moment we started to consider Track Seven to DJ our wedding, Joel set up a video call to learn more about my wife and I, our interest, what we we're looking for from a DJ, etc. It was easy to tell from that moment that he was passionate about his profession and commited to making sure Track Seven could meet/exceed all of our expectations of DJ for our wedding. After we made the decision to go with Track Seven, Joel directed us to their website where we could watch video interviews of their DJs and request who we wanted to DJ our wedding! We requested Darnell and fortunately for us he was available and willing to DJ our wedding. Darnell was AMAZING, the perfect fit, a pleasure to work with, and went above and beyond to make our wedding special. We gave Darnell a high level overview of what we were looking for, the flow of our wedding, a few special songs, and trusted him to do the rest. It was perfect, our guest said the DJ was one of their favorite parts of our wedding! My friends at the wedding thought Darnell was family or a family friend, which I think really speaks to his commitment to make my wife and I's day special. All in all, I cannot recommend Track Seven enough, they are worth every dime and then some. I would highly recommend Track Seven DJ. I met Joel at a small bridal show when we were first looking for vendors and he gave me a ticket for a larger bridal show. I had met multiple vendors at this event and he was the one that stuck out by far. The venue we ended up using had a "package deal" so we ended up not having to hire vendors ourselves. However, in the months leading up to the event, things started falling through with our "package deal" due to the planner not holding up her end of the bargain and a month before the wedding date we had to find all the vendors ourselves. The venue GM reached out to Joel and he was more than willing to work with us on such short notice. He had great communication leading up to the event and made it an easy process. The COVID19 restrictions caused us to have to postpone the wedding reception. Joel was willing to postpone the date and reschedule with us so he could still be the DJ. The day of the wedding reception he greeted us when we walked in and he provided us with a night to remember! He is such a kind man and you can tell he really takes pride in what he does. He communicated frequently throughout the night and asked multiple times if he needed to change anything, if we needed anything else, and asked if we were having fun. If you want a great DJ who genuinely loves his job, makes the process stress free, and really listens to what couples want, Track Seven is the way to go! read more

Dom was nothing but polite, professional, friendly, and flexible from day one. He walked us through the whole process of what a typical wedding/DJ looks like, what he needed from us (not much at all besides some basic info on us and one table), and making sure he knew what we wanted. On the day of the event, Dom arrived early and made sure everything was set up perfectly. He timed the ceremony and cocktail hour perfectly and willingly transferred his equipment between outdoors and indoors several times with zero complaints due to unforeseen wind outside. He was so courteous and approachable and just generally everything you want from a DJ. Our day got very chaotic when the wind forced us to completely change buildings but Dom was on top of the music/microphones every step of the way. The best part was he watched us (discreetly) but intently to look for eye contact from either me or the groom to know to fade out slow dance songs with parents. This made us feel in control and comfortable in one of the trickiest parts of the night. Once I gave him a look, he faded it out and we moved on with the night! We cannot recommend him enough! I know it's hard to pick a DJ without seeing them perform previously, but you will NOT be disappointed with Track Seven (although we are biased and think Dom is the best of course). John & Grace -- wedding on 6/4/22 at Daniel's Vineyard in Indiana The music at Grace and I's wedding was something we cared about a lot. About a year in advance of the big day, we got in touch with Joel at Track Seven for a Zoom call. We could instantly tell Joel really cared about our thoughts on the music at the wedding, helped us think through musical aspects we had not yet thought of (i.e. if we wanted music playing during our wine ceremony, the music during our cake cutting, etc.), and showed a friendly professionalism that made him a joy to work with. We were given an informational sheet to fill out that was very thorough -- asking what songs we'd want throughout the night, how we wanted our wedding party to be announced into the reception hall, and the songs that we did and did not want to hear on the dance floor. We had a touch-base meeting with Joel about a week before the wedding to go over the sheet and make sure everything was good to go. On the day of the wedding, Joel's professionalism was on full display. He showed up early, made sure everybody's microphones were working, and did not miss a single musical cue all night. While we only worked with Joel at Track Seven, if the other DJs employed are anything like Joel, we could not recommend their services enough. We attended a wedding last Fall that Joel with Track Seven DJ was at. At some point during the amazing party that was going on, I looked at my fiancé and said "We need him.". Joel was the perfect amount of involved that we were looking for. He knew when to chime in, but he was not dominating the party. Once the reception wrapped, we slightly cornered him and inquired about using him for our upcoming nuptials. We then found out we had attended another wedding he did that we also had SO much fun at (we weren't engaged at that time, so DJ's weren't on our radar). When it came to our wedding, Joel was so flexible and made the entire process stress-free. He had a document prepared that we could fill out with all the info he needed. My father wanted our first dance song to be a surprise, and Joel was completely open to my dad messaging him directly and keeping it a secret. Same goes for my sisters that wanted a special song played for me (little did they know I had put the exact same song on Joel's document that I wanted to play for my sisters). Joel kept our party going, and everyone dancing all night. We had so many people tell us that we had such a good crowd left at the end of the night. My wife Kristen and I searched far and wide for a musician/DJ to perform at our wedding reception at River Glen Country Club in Fishers, IN. We were originally going to have a live band perform at the reception but ended moving forward with Track Seven DJ. It ended up being a fantastic decision. We reached out to Track Seven and they set us up with Justin, who we met with at a local Starbucks about 6 months prior to the big day. Justin was extremely professional and was able to answer any question that we could throw at him. We felt very comfortable with our decision after leaving that initial meeting. Fast forward to about 2 weeks prior to the wedding day, we met with Justin again to finalize the songs for the first dance, father/daughter/ mother/son, etc. We never felt stressed or worried when dealing with Track Seven DJ whatsoever. The reception went off without a hitch and Justin was a great MC along with his DJing abilities. He was very efficient and releasing tables for dinner and organizing our different speeches/events throughout the night. The dance floor was packed from start to finish. My husband Andy and I chose Track Seven DJ for music and sound at our wedding in September of 2021. They were really great to work with! Our initial consultation was with Joel, the owner, who was friendly and professional and great to chat with. Our actual DJ was Ken Sorenson, who took it as a matter of personal pride to find as many of the esoteric songs we requested as he could. He was also accommodating of our request to use gender neutral language when addressing our guests, which was important to us because we wanted our Non-Binary friends and family to feel welcome and included. Track Seven was also accommodating of our need for sound gear for our harpist out at the ceremony site. The lighting that they added to the reception area really improved the ambiance of the event. And I'm sure the photobooth they provided was a grand ol' time, though sadly neither Andy nor myself ever made it over to it because we were just so busy. We would absolutely recommend hiring Track Seven to DJ your wedding or other special event! Track Seven DJ is the best in the Midwest!! I came across them per recommendation after recommendation from others in Indiana and was impressed by them the second I spoke to Joel. Joel is a professional and an expert. We booked them 2 years out from our wedding, and met with at least 15 other DJs. Some DJs overdo it (in my opinion) with the cheesy jokes and sound effects and try to make sure they are the center of attention, but we didn't get that vibe from Track Seven. Joel answered every question - big or small - that we had and put thought and care into our day. Justin was our DJ for wedding day and he answered countless emails, agreed to meet with us in person prior to wedding day, and was phenomenal on the actual day. He cut our first dance song to a specific time and faded it, and made a remix for my father/daughter dance request. The night of the wedding, there wasn't a single second that someone wasn't on the dance floor. He read the room wonderfully, was respectful, and tailored his skills to our needs. 20/10 recommend!! read more

From the very first communication with Joel to even after the wedding was over he was one the most genuine and kind people we have ever come across! He was amazing to work with in all aspects! On the day of the wedding he was one of the few things I felt at ease about! I was so picky when it came to finding a DJ, I wanted someone who was professional, confident, dependable, tasteful, fun, experienced and Joel was all those things and more! Leading up to the big day he was very attentive and quick to respond to all of my emails. My husband and I did not want any cheesy wedding songs, and worked with Joel to come up with a playlist that WE loved. Joel had DJ'd at my venue several times before (The Sixpence) and when he got there he knew exactly what to do, where to set up and was just so comfortable. Being able to trust your vendors and not have to "worry" about them on your wedding day is incredibly important, and I fully trusted Joel! He did such an incredible job with the introductions and music, truly he exceeded our expectations. Darnell, with Track Seven DJ, was the BEST WEDDING DJ!!! Working with him was a dream. He brought us so much calm and good feelings during a stressful planning process. Every conversation we had to plan our playlists felt so easy and exciting. Even when it can be really hard to describe a musical vibe, he asked great questions, provided thoughtful examples, and really heard what we tried to describe as sounds and songs that we liked/disliked for this occasion. The final product was a wedding setlist that absolutely exceeded expectations. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, through the dinner hour, and reception dancing, the music flowed perfectly. We heard about Track Seven DJ thru a dear friend. We had the pleasure of working with Dom, who my husband envy's for his impressive beard! We FaceTimed Dom before we booked him for our wedding-his idea, not ours! He was GREAT! Super personable, had great advice to create a DO-NOT playlist instead of a million songs to play! I am the strange bride who wanted to barf at the pressure of choosing songs to certain things like the "cut the cake song" I literally gave him full range to pick out whatever song he wanted to play.
