The gentleman who came to our home is a great conversationalist. We thought we were clear on what was going to happen during the day- of service. We scheduled our appointment and waited for the day to arrive. On the day of our termite service the person arrived, not the person who pitched the information to us, but somebody else. He arrived promptly as scheduled and began to explain what he would do. When we purchased the termite protection we were told that a few holes would be drilled into the concrete in the front in the back of the house. In fact, there would be a lot more holes. The person doing the service also had to move a tremendous amount of stuff we had in the way. The big kicker was that the garden bed on either side of the house had to be ripped up so they could put stuff there. I told the gentleman that we were not aware of this. The service man told me that this was not the first time that he has had a customer tell him that. He said that it happened the day before as well. He said the person whose home he was servicing was quite angry and yelled at him because he had to rip up some gardening. With that being said, he did put everything back fairly well. In the future, Orkin representatives need to be clear and up front about what will transpire during the service/installation.
