Do not use this service. There is no customer service. The staff is not trained to provide…read moreappropriate customer satisfaction nor inform or educate the customers on the telephone options or explain the differences in buying a telephone or contract payment telephone. The paperwork that is giving to you at the end of the sale does not include the Illinois signal policies. So how are you to know any information? We purchased a telephone and paid for it. The phone was activated and left store. That night the phone was fully charged but did not work it would light up for short periods of time and would turn off unable to be used in any way. The next day we returned to Illinois signal was told the phone is defective and will order a replacement. The folowoing we returned again to activate my old phone . On Friday I checked on the phone status was told its not in yet. Checked on Tues and wed. and was told the phone is not in yet we will call you when it comes in. On the following Tuesday today May 8. I again stop at Illinois Signal to check on the phone status. The person says its not in yet we have not received a shipment for 2 weeks. I said than I want my money back since you have no idea when I will receive the replacement phone for the new defective one we purchased. Than things got interesting the wonderful 15 year experienced manager says that once you buy and pay for a phone it is yours. I informed her of what her staff had informed us and as to who they were. She would talk to them. But no replacement phone was ordered and they were not and did not provide any assistance in trying to remedy the problem. I was given the number of the manufacturer to call and file a claim for a defective phone because it is under warranty. The bottom line is Illinois signal sold a phone, took my money benefitting them and the manufacturer. The customer has a paid defective phone that does nothing. Now have to continue to be without a new phone and deal with filing a claim and awaiting for repairs or new phone to be delivered. Someday I will have working new refurbished or remanufactured phone that is supposed to be a new phone but how long will the wait be as it has already been since April 25.

I can almost always find the book that I am looking for when I go there. They also charge 1/2 of the retail price (for paperbacks anyways) which is a great deal! I know that Browns delivers prescriptions, so I called to see if they could deliver crutches. The lady I spoke with was very pleasant and friendly, not to mention obviously concerned and caring. The crutches were delivered by a very friendly and considerate gentlemen who adjusted them for my height and made sure I understood to call if I had any concerns or questions or needed any kind of further assistance. This is the THE place for unique and useful kitchen items. They carry a lot of high end products: Le Creuset, Swiss Diamond, Joseph Joseph, Peugeot, and many others. The shop itself is unique, in an old, brick home between 8th and 9th on Kentucky St. There are gadgets and goodies tucked into every nook and cranny, from the glassed-in front porch to the very back of the house. If you enjoy cooking or just enjoy cool stuff for your kitchen, you will find plenty of eye candy here. In addition to the gadgets, there are a number of gourmet coffees, teas, seasonings, spices, dry soup mixes and unique canned goods that are difficult to find in grocery stores. It's surprising I have never taken one of their cooking classes, but they have a great space for them and you can even organize your own event for a wedding shower or birthday. The only thing I wish they had were small electronics, like coffee makers and grinders. It's a little surprising they do not carry chemex coffee makers or pour-overs. These items would be great additions to the store, although I am sure they would be willing to order them for you. Bottom line, it's a unique kitchen store, fun to explore, and pricing is good. (For example, when I've purchase washers and dryers in the past, they ask if it will be a few light loads a week, or if it will be several dirty heavy loads from farming, factory, or construction. Similar questions about what we want from a frig, or how much we'd be putting down a disposal.). They keep records from way back, and will ask how we liked what we bought in the past, and how it's holding up. While they don't have their own repairmen, they contract with someone to provide warranty work. If something is beyond warranty, they will recommend someone, and tactfully steer you away from others. (I trust them in this, as I asked about someone who we had a bad experience with, and was simply told "That's why we don't recommend him."). They are also honest enough to ask about the appliance you own currently and tell you that while they'd love to make a sale, the old one you have is better than anything on the market and worth repairing. How can you not trust someone like that? We've purchased two refrigerators, a washer dryer pair, another dryer because of a move, a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and a huge window air conditioner. Never have we been disappointed with the service. Most recently, we had a control knob on our dryer crack, and instead of ordering one online, I asked my husband to go there and have them order it. Instead, he came home with a replacement, at NO CHARGE. It wasn't under warranty, but it was GREAT customer service. I will stick with them ANY time I need an appliance.

Found out the owner gave the refrigerator to someone else and had to order another one that will take 2 MONTHS to be in. Unprofessional and unacceptable. Something you would expect from a big chain, not a small town business.

I locked my lincoln town car keys in the trunk w/ the ice cream of course. I was parked under a…read moretree and it was starting to get warmer around 60 some degrees and I had my small dogs with me, locked in. I call jerry's and they told me the price up frontly immediately came out. The thing with that Lincoln ISIS, if you don't have the keyless entry code which I'm the fifth owner, I don't have it. And with all the automatic locks and no key, all the lacks were disabled. There was no way to pop the lax or given to the trunk.Because of the way that locke system is. Nonetheless, a young man who worked at jerry's spent at least a half hour or more trying to get into the car for me. I was able to contact a friend to pick me up and get me to my house to get the other key. The young man did tell me they could make another key to get me into the car, but the cost would have been much more.And because he wasn't able to get into the car, the conventional way without getting a key made, he didn't charge me. There you are, young man spent his gas. Effort, time trying to help an old lady who was panicking about getting to her dogs that were in the car.And he didn't charge me a dime, and I want to give a good shout out for jerry's because these are good, decent, honest and helpful people. This is, this is the third time i've used them over 8 yrs, shame on me. Each time they are 'johny on the spot' God bless them!!!!
