So turns out they continued to show the apartment that they had promised to me, and then rented it out to someone who was naive enough to take an unfinished apartment all because they couldn't be bothered to bring the building up to code and make it habitable. They have no qualms about allowing their tenants to foot a massive electric bill so they don't have to weather-proof, fire-proof and bug-proof an old building that's falling apart.

She came prepared for the house visit: brought me a printed notebook with bagua maps laid over my floor plans and took notes for me so I did not have to. A few days later, she sent a follow up email with more notes and links for subjects we discussed. Susan was also very mindful of my germaphobic tendencies and offered to bring extra clean clothes and socks to wear inside my house. When I asked her questions, she took her time to double check with her notes before answering. It is a lot of new information to absorb. I appreciated her due diligence. Her method was different from the previous fenshui consultant I tried. It's more natural and less hoaky, which suits my style more.
