Terrible experiences time after time…read more Today was our third time at this particular Picture People and it was somehow, by far, the worst yet. We will not being going back. Everytime you go it is the same thing. We wait almost 2 hours past our appointment time to be seen. Then you have to deal with the rip off session for 45 minutes after as they try and confuse you into an upsell over and over. They are purposefully unhelpful and obtuse in a way to hopefully get you to just give up and buy whatever they offer you. You are basically being held hostage for 3-4 hours. The difference this time to last was that at least before we got some really nice pictures out of our sessions (nice enough to go back and deal with the nonsense, maybe) but this time was so awful. We were treated like an inconvenience. After waiting nearly two hours with a 8 month old and 4 children ages 4-9 (all actually behaved surprisingly well all things considered), The 8 month old needed a quick change (go figure). We were told a few minutes into changing her that we "had two minutes or she is calling it" after only 6 pictures. After we waited 110 minutes for them to get it together we were being threatened... That and the few other times we came they got a ton of pictures for us and they switched up the backgrounds and asked our opinions on different ones. This time they took 15 pictures in front of an awful background that we didn't pick and then they shoved us off and moved on without even giving us a chance to protest. We had planned on buying their RIDICULOUSLY priced disk with all the pictures from the session for $99 but with 15 pictures (none of them good), what would be the point? (past sessions had over 50 pictures) In an age where everyone can take great pictures on their own it is a luxury to get people who want to pay for the professional touch of a studio. This is not the place. These are not real photographers. Most of pictures weren't even framed properly (off centered, not at the correct eye line). Just plain and simple a nightmare of a day and a waste of time and money.

This was all my fault for arriving 10 minutes late after an hour long car ride and trying to stop and feed the baby before arriving (one of her many stipulations in order to ensure she can get you the 7 poses) She is rude and not customer friendly. (I paid A LOT for these pictures I can post them wherever I please the complaint was not with the pictures but that they took almost 8 weeks to receive and her business ethic is lacking!) ********The thing is I wrote the review for parents considering to use your service to get a full spectrum of what can occur. Definitely, not to engage with you, Ms. Israeli. I still have the numerous lengthy texts you sent trying to diagnose my infant with several diseases and ailments you pronounced. She's an LBI local who's very familiar with the best spots to capture photographs. She's super personable and easy to get along with, which makes for a relaxing photo session. Our family photo shoots involve 6 adults and 3 kids and she captures everyone along with smaller groups (like grandparents with the grandkids or individual families). She is patient and understanding and knows how crazy it can be when kids get tired or rambunctious. She can do multiple locations for photo shoots - just recently we did the beach for some pics and then headed to Sunset Park to use as another location. In years past we used the lighthouse.
