The puppies and puppy's parents are also very socialized by the owners and as well as their children and grandchildren. They live on a farm so the puppies will also be socialized with horses and cows. Stanley and Sandy take excellent care of their dogs/puppies. They treat these beautiful dogs like family, which they are, fur babies. Stanley and Sandy are the most genuine, honest people you will ever have the pleasure to meet. They are so easy to talk to, whether it is in person, over the phone, or messaging, it is like you have met them before.

I never received a call so I came back 5 hours after my appointment was scheduled (I dropped him off 10 minutes early) and he wasn't done. She left most of him too long, but forgot to switch blades and left a bald spot on his tail. Also, he wasn't thoroughly bathed and whatever was put on his coat afterwards left it greasy and attracted a ton of dirt. He had to have another bath less than a week later. All of that said, I think he was treated incredibly well while she worked on him. He was his normal happy go lucky self when I picked him up. The groomer was extremely nice and I can only assume she was just booked a bit heavy that day, resulting in a subpar groom.

Every evening I received a video as well as a text explaining what Stewy did that day. My friends watched the process thru my Facebook postings and were amazed at his progress! I called to make sure that they did walk-in nail trims and to see if I needed to bring in my dog's vaccination records. The man on the phone told me that I did. The young man greeted us at the door and asked what service we were there for. I told him a nail trim and he immediately tried to take my dog. I asked if he needed to see his vax records or if I needed to do any paperwork. He said no. Then he PICKED UP my 80 pound dog to CARRY him from the front door to the back. I was shocked and confused. I said, "Um, he will follow you back, you don't need to carry him..." He said, "Oh, it's fine." While I waited, I sat in disgust and horror as I took in my surroundings. I could hear my dog whimpering and whining, which he literally never does. It smelled like pee and cigarette smoke. There was fur all over the carpet in the lobby. The area that I'm assuming is the dog play area, was covered in hairballs, and a pile of feces. Beyond that, was the grooming room... which was the nastiest sight and made me extremely uncomfortable. It was absolutely covered in fur, toys, and trash on the floor and the table space. I literally left wanting to vomit. As I was leaving, I drove around a little bit and noticed that their outside fenced in area was quite small and part of the fence was broken enough to where a small dog could easily escape. This place needs to be shut down. I would not recommend it to anyone at all. The single star can be for the young man who was nice and fast, but that's the only positive thing I have to say. Definitely not worth my $10.

Her business is smaller and less stressful for one of my fraidy cat dogs. There are not 30+ animals sitting around waiting for their owners to pick up, barking and causing stress. The larger places caused an incredible amount of stress before we found Jamie! Jamie DONATES her services to one of the largest foster based rescues in Missouri- Rescue One. She handles ferals, biters, medically fragile and crazy hyper animals happily, willingly and professionally. She is valued in the rescue community as kind, patient and loving to all animals, even the ones that bite her :).

Nov. 23, 2022 our little dog was dropped off for her appointment with Jamie Chance our regular…read moreGroomer. Some incident occurred in her care that caused injury that resulted in death of our dog. I was contacted in only 1 hour told, "Not her best haircut. She slipped and fell in the tub and was not able to stand up for any amount of time from that point on." Dog was clearly not her normal self upon pick up 10 minutes from that text. Jamie was contacted after client got home for questions about details of the accident. Her answers began to change as more questioning and concern went on the next 24 hours. She refuses to give her business insurance info to file a claim. She went on to say it was nothing she did to cause or her responsibility. Three Vet appointments at over $500. as well as charged full price of $45 for the crappy groom work. Dog spent 8 days with round the clock care as could not even stand up to potty. Vets say no way dog slipped in tub and fell the distance of her own body as told that could cause this injury. Likely, tethered to tightly or fell from tub or table to floor. All Jamie said after she texted 2 days after appointment asking how she was doing was, "I'll pray for her". It's quite possible her husband who she has been training to groom was actually in charge of our dog or very possible some other incident occurred to cause the injury witch resulted in the unexpected death to our full of life little dog. Since this I have been contacted by other groomers familiar with Jamie and her grooming practices that give concerns for anyone's dogs. There is also record with the courts and BBB. There is Vet evals as well as video footage before and after for proof.
