If your going to sell something make sure you have about 2 hours to spare they are slowwwww way to much personal conversations happening at the register it may be three employees at the register but only one is helping everybody else is talking!! I had a pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses given to me as a gift. They didn't fit my right so I brought them to Trade It to sell. These Ray Bans sell on Amazon for up to $275! Ebay has them going for $250! I go in and ask for $100. The guy actually laughed at me! And said he would give me $10. He didn't even look them up online to verify how much they were going for. Then he tells me they would sell them for only $30. Trade it Low balls you...then sells the items for 200 to 300% more then what they buy it from you for. I took them to another Pawn Shop and they gladly gave me $100 for them.Do not try to sell items here. read more

I was in Greenville visiting friends, and saw there was a Trade It there in Greenville, so I had to stop in and see if it was s good as the one I go to back home in Fayetteville. Pros: The store us HUGE! And has a LOT of great merchandise and great prices. It's like twice as big as the stores in Fayetteville, and the selection is even better than what I am used to. Cons: The service was okay, and the salespeople talked to me, but somehow it seemed les friendly than what I am used to from shopping at the Fayetteville stores. Still much better than a pawn shop or Walmart, maybe on par with Target... friendly but impersonal. I'm still loyal to my favorite Trade It store in Fayetteville, but the sheer size and selection here makes it worth a look. I bought a laptop and a Samsung Galaxy phone, and put a piece of jewelry on layaway to give my mother for Christmas. I love how they have electronics and game systems at a fair price. The place was very clean and organized. They have good game systems for a reasonable price. The only thing that I have to complain about is that I bought my wife a tablet there Saturday and she brought it home, plugged it in to charge, turned it on and the screen was cracked so we have to take it back to get it replaced :( If they don't replace it this place is getting 1 star. read more

This place sucks. A few people know what they're talking about, but most don't. $7 for a 7.1 receiver? $7 for a 23" perfect computer monitor? I sold a calculator for $20 there, I was told they go for $50. OK. Then on another day I tried to get rid of an SONY audio receiver. At first I was told they go for $30 and he said he would give me $7. Then his coworker called him out and said receivers go for much more than $30. Right then I knew the guy was a dumbass and his coworker just proved it. Then he tried to say he knew tons about that specific model, when it was obvious he didn't. Are you kidding me?!?! But the real question was how can you offer $14 for an item that will be sold for $60 and I already sold an item to them for $20 that will be sold for $50. That math doesn't add up. The place is a complete rip off. I bought a wireless controller from here and it did not have a back on it, so the batteries kept falling out. When i go back to return it, I'm told i could only get a 80 percent refund. I should have been told that the item i was buying was missing parts before it was even rung up. The upper management is a complete joke. They have some of the worst attitudes i have ever dealt with. As soon as i told the "manager" i wanted to return something, she immediately rolled her eyes and looked irritated. The same thing with the person that was supposedly above her. So since they couldn't take 2 seconds to inform me the controller was missing parts, and ask me if i was okay with that, i loose 20 percent of my money for no reason. My husband purchased a video game from the Greenville, NC location as a gift for me. Once we returned home (5 hours away from the location) I put the game in the station and it would not work. We tried on multiple stations and the game would not load. When I called the store to speak with the manager I was put on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up and called back. I was again put on hold by the same associate, who then told me her manager, Jackie, would not speak to me and would not do anything to help. When I asked for a phone number to corporate or someone that would help me she refused to give me the information and told me it could be found online. I realize a faulty video game is a fairly minor issue, but the lack of customer service and the blatant rudeness I received while trying to address my concerns was inappropriate and offensive. I was still living in Greenville when that store first opened up and spent countless hours over the years buying and trading from them, but after this experience I will NEVER set foot in that store again. read more
