This is one of the smaller Trader Joe's I've been too however they do have a large parking lot so you are able to come and leave with ease. I was in the area and have been OBSESSED w/ Lucy Glo apples, which I've only been able to find at Trader Joe's. Stopped by to see if I could snag a few bags and luckily for me, there was plenty available! Seems like this store has a great stock and selection of everything! The check out line moved quick per usual and had no issues here. I would say the only qualm I have is the location. It's located on Memorial Dr and ugh driving to get here is a bit of an atrocious experience. The parking lot is also interesting... it shares the lot w/ Micro center & people were driving aggressively (I.e circling the lot looking for parking & getting in + out of spots w/o looking out for cars and people). read more

Traders oh how I love thee! Let me count the ways!!! From exclusive holiday products, that may cause you to stalk locations further away from your home location and have you wanting for more when they sell out - I see you Kimbap, Jingle Jangle and Pumpkin Jo Jo's. To the wonderful staff that's always so nice at checkout and in the aisles restocking. To the Saturday samplers that always seems to add one more thing to my list of have to haves. This place is definitely a vibe. It's like a self care grocery store where you can pamper yourself with flowers and treats and you can't wait to do it again the next weekend. It's the only grocery store I've ever been to that I brag about what I purchased with my family and friends. read more

Definitely "meh" about this location. They have all the normal produce and other products, however there are two big points missing for me here. A) all four times i've been here, I've gotten super standoffish service from different people, when I'm used to the familiar bubbly TJ's folks. Never offering to help bag, or only giving one bag when we clearly have way more stuff and then begrudgingly giving another bag even if we initially started out packing our own reusable bags. B) no alcohol here! I'm not sure why they don't have it at this location and maybe I could have done more research but I walked around several times before realizing, "where's my two buck chuck?!" I'll be going to the other location a mile away for now. read more

I love the product availability of this location. It's not the closest Trader Joe's to me but it is the largest in proximity. It has great product selection. I kept looking in different TJ's for Harvest Blend grain blend and found it in this Cambridge location. The staff is kind and helpful like at other TJs. It has the standard Trader Joe's vibe. I wish I could go to this location more as I'd find the items I want compared to smaller locations. read more

I love this TJ's. It's my favorite one in the area. They are fully stocked, even in these times, and they were one of the first to take super precautions: lines with markers for standing 6ft apart, wipes for carts, now they're doing 1 way aisles. The staff is quite friendly too. Avocados from Mexico are always great to get, fresh herbs, cheeses, Italian prosciutto (my new favorite product), frozen goods (of course), kosher and organic meat, handmade flour tortillas, canned tomatoes grape leaves & green olives, teas, seltzer, and constantly lovely surprises. read more

This place has a OK selection if not below average compare to other locations. That is OK since I only need few things from here whenever I stop by Microcenter. When I visited today and picked up a couple of items, a guy behind register did not greet me nor care about anything. I had bit of trouble with credit card machines, but he did not give s**t. I finally figured it out but he just did care when customer is having issues. After transaction is done, he did not say anything and just look away like he is annoyed by my presence. Well, looks like no one in this FINE establishment train their employees or maybe they just don't care about who they hire. If the store does not care about employees caring(?) personality like this due, how would they expect to continue their business. Not greeting customer is one thing, but not helping customers when he/she is having issues is not OK. I cannot believe these kind of people gets paid minimum wage. And I always thought employees in Walmart did not care about customers, but this guy tops that easily. Oh well, another lowered expectations. read more

I LOVE Trader Joe's, and I especially love this particular store because their employees are so delightful. Everyone is always very helpful and has a great attitude. It makes shopping so much better when you're around kind people. One time, the person in front of me in line left the store and I got up to the register and noticed they walked out w/o their keys. I ran out the door and found them and gave them their keys. I came back in and the cashier had flowers for me that the lady working in the flower area picked out while I was in the parking lot giving the person their keys back. I was taken aback and the cashier said "I like to celebrate good deeds and kindness. We need more of it in this world and I appreciate you ran out and gave this person their keys back. That was very nice." I mean...WOW! I was floored and thanked him and the lady who was working in the flower area over and over. I certainly did not expect that for just doing the right thing that I'd hope anyone would do if they were my keys. This store gets VERY crowded on Sundays so I try to avoid it then, but any other time it's fine and easy to navigate through (except maybe before a winter storm...but aren't all stores in New England crowded then as people freak out?) I used to love that they carried wine at this store but now that the Allston store does, this one does not. It's OK though...they have all of the amazing Trader Joe's foods/products I love, and again, I cannot stress how awesome the employees are. It's a pleasure to shop here. read more

No trip to Trader Joe's would be complete without a stop at Whole Foods on the way home to pick up all the things TJ's just refuses to stock. Five different kinds of shrink wrapped zucchini, but not a single cucumber in the store. No rice pilaf on the shelves, but 2 whole rows of gross microwave couscous. Not a single jar of peanut butter in the entire store larger than 16 ounces. By first world standards this isn't even a grocery store, it's a CVS with Hawaiian shirts. read more

This is the worst Trader Joe's on the planet. They're consistently out of things and their staff clearly don't care about customers. They are usually chatting with each other and can barely be bothered to respond to customers when they have a question. They give me a hard time every time I show up without my own bags. I don't always plan ahead when I'm out and I some times just need to stop for a few groceries. They also refuse to bag groceries, even for people who don't want to or can't bags their own. I've never had this problem at another Trader Joe's or even another store. It's right next to Microcenter and I sometimes just pop in when I'm in the same parking lot, but never again. I hate this store and will never go in again. read more

I come here all the time to grocery shop, especially for snacks, for which they have a very wide selection. Don't be fooled though, not all of their prices are cheaper than competitors (including Whole Foods), so you gotta do your research. I especially love their mini mochi and cold brew latte pops. Do not buy their flowers no matter how tempted you may be by the low prices. They wither in about a day. And they no longer sell alcohol at this location. Sad. read more

5 stars for excellent customer service! My boyfriend and I come here regularly for groceries and have run into some issues such as meat going bad before the best-by date or having cracked eggs, but the staff are always happy to rectify the situation by allowing exchanges or refunds. We can always find someone to help us in the aisles which seems rare at a lot of stores these days, and the checkout line is never very long. The only downside I can think of is that you can't buy alcohol here now (although you used to be able to). But otherwise fair prices, good quality (if not, you can exchange or refund), lots of variety, friendly staff! Definitely a go-to grocery store! read more

When I mentioned to the employee behind the customer service counter early this morning on September 7 that masks should be worn above the nose, (both he and other employees were wearing masks below their nose and as chin straps) he lowered his mask completely, reached out his arm and stated that he was 6 feet away so "no problem" as he spoke at me. Given the respiratory transmission of this virus, the science we now know, and my experience as an ER doctor, I think it is inexcusable that Trader Joe's allows employees to not wear a mask inside their stores unless they are "within 6 feet of someone else". There is no excuse for putting the lives of their customers, employees and family members at risk at risk with a store policy. read more

This is by far my favorite place to buy groceries. The produce is fresh and inexpensive. Also a pretty good selection of cheese and wine (probably the most inexpensive wine selection in the Boston area - inexpensive but good ! Get the Rieslings if that's your thing. They're really good here) In the frozen food sections - the dumplings , pork buns and cioppino (seafood stew) are delicious. Pro tip: NEVER shop here on a Sunday evening. I've written a few reviews for Trader Joe's so I'm only limiting this review to their wine selection. I love all Tj's however this location has wine for sale. On one occasion they were providing samples of champagne. Now that how I like to shop! I usually come here when I need to get a gift for someone and you never go wrong with a nice inexpensive bottle of wine for $5.99. As a frequent Whole Foods shopper, my first trip to this Trader Joe's (which was my first trip to any TJ's, for that matter) was amazing. It had everything I liked about Whole Foods - great meats and cheeses, organic snacks, quality greens - at about 75 cents on the dollar. I was used to loading up on bread, cold cuts, cereals and dinner ingredients for the week at $60, and at TJ's I was paying $45. The best testament to this place is that I dug out my car from the snow to drive here instead of simply walking to a nearby Whole Foods. read more

This is one of my favorite trader joes in the area. They are almost always well stocked and parking is fast and easy. Prices are good like all other trader joes. I only have two complaints: 1. Their free samples are rarely vegetarian friendly. 2. The painting they have on their wall is ugly and a huge eye sore whenever I drive up. read more

I work across the plaza at MicroCenter, and go here very often to get lunch. I typically get simple, microwaveable stuff, and/or ready to eat. Definitely some good stuff there. Always be cautious though, there are the occasional items that basically could exceed the reccomended Daily Value of Fats and/or Sodium. My only two negatives about this place are that they should definitely have an express lane for those buying like 6 items or less, or a self checkout system. I luuuuurve me some Trader Joe's! This location is great because it has a pretty big wine/beer selection with really affordable (and tasty) options. They don't have a huge fresh fruit selection, but I usually go elsewhere for that. Trader Joe's is great for the cheese, the fun sauces, and all the great frozen veggies/appetizers. How can you not like Trader Joes? It's like Whole Foods, but affordable and friendly for the entire family. Also, they have $3 buck wine! That's amazing! Similar to the other trader joes, this market has the standard joe-goods and has a fairly sizable parking lot. The flowers are always in season and they often have some fancy free dishes in the back corner. I will say that their card selection is slightly limited and they don't always have free coffee. Oh TJs, how I heart thee! I love stopping in for lunch in the middle of the day, either to grab a sandwich, surprisingly good, or chips and dip, Greek yogurt which I love with all my heart, or sushi which is ALWAYS within it's sell-by-date (much appreciated!) and my favorite thing about them is they don't sell much soda - the only downfall I think is that very few of their drinks ARE refrigerated. The salmon stakes, the frozen veg, pies, cakes, cheeses all very good. Cheap wine and beer, so good! They also often have really good deals, last month (or a bit longer back) my friend and I enjoyed DEVIL'S MARBLES Shiraz at 3 bucks a bottle, it was sadly, a one-time-buy, but we were not disappointed for long because they have pretty knowledgeable staff who ushered us over to very good wine that was 4.99 a bottle. This place is crowded during the weekend, but its nowhere as crowded as the TJ in NYC's Union Square. You can push a cart around this TJ. The wine section is in the supermarket (its not a separate wine store) so you definitely need a cart. There is ample, free parking outside. It is not covered, but hey, its free! Some of my favorite items to buy are: -snap peas -Any meat that has flavor added, like the bulgogi beef. -Snacks. The snack aisle is my favorite aisle. Cheddar puffs, green pea snacks, tortilla chips and salsa. Mixed nuts. -Frozen food. I wasn't able to find the cauliflower pizza crust or mashed cauliflower. Maybe it was sold out. -Wines. $3 wine for making sangria. Reislings are cheap too. If you forget to bring a bag like me, you will be charged 10 cents per bag. read more

Little known fact, this store was the first TJs on the East Coast when it opened in 1996. I don't want to preach about how awesome TJs is, but I think I come here 3-4 times a week just to fill my cabinets with their fresh food. Almost any TJs brand item is stellar, from a taste, health or even price point of view. A few staples I always pickup are; bananas,carrots, cereal, milk, yogurt, eggs and cheeses. All of these items are typically sold for cheaper than massive grocery stores. One thing that I had to get over was that their prices never change, no sales, no coupons, just consistently good prices. Their bread selection is pretty poor so I'd suggest going elsewhere for that. The staff is incredibly friendly and make a lot of meal suggestions (if you want). Sometimes the lines may seem long, but they are efficient so don't expect to wait more than 5 minutes on checkout even during peak hours. Summary: I love Trader Joes!!! PS Don't forget to try the free snack! 75% of the time I end up buying it, so they're not losing any money on me! read more

Trader joe's is one of my ultimate grocery stores. I've been shopping from them over 25 years. I move around all the time and I rate a neighborhood according to how close there is a TJ by it. They have all the essentials I need for my everyday needs. Love their tofu and all the fresh vegetables. They bring it in fresh so I get it fresh from them almost every two days. This location is one of the better one in the area. It's not hard to find parking space, the staff are very friendly and the store is always clean. You know that kid in high school who gave you that first beer / cigarette / joint / pcp dose? (I kid about the latter...I think.) That's Trader Joes. You'll see why in a minute. I usually expect to be ignored and barely tolerated in any grocery store I visit. And I'm nice. I'm usually afraid that any question I ask, such as, "hey, do you know where I can find some Cool Ranch Doritos?" will be met with a baring of fangs and the brandishment of a machete (go to Johnny's Foodmaster in Somerville and all shall be clear). But...but...the staff at Trader Joes is downright friendly. They're nice enough to unsettle this city-hardened misanthropist. That's a good thing. When I was there last month, looking for my beloved white bean basil hummus, a staff member who was unloading inventory overheard my confusion and stepped up. "Ever try the Mediterranean hummus?" he offered. "Er, no," I countered. "Oh, you'll love it. We're out of the hummus you're looking for, but you'll dig the other stuff." The gruff-looking employee disappeared for a moment and reappeared with hours-old sourdough bread and a tub of the aforementioned hummus. "Try it," he urged. And yeah, it was wonderful and I bought the stuff. I left with my hummus, wondering if I'd stumbled onto the set of Punk'd where everyone was just...nice. But there was no host jumping out from the cheese section telling me that the hummus was garnished with grated cat poo. All was...good. The next time I visited was in the search of my favorite rosemary-garlic crackers. I mentioned to my SO that I was having a hard time locating said baked goodness, and a voice sounded from over my right shoulder. "What are you looking for?" chirped a pleasant looking college kid. "Er, crack-" I couldn't finish my sentence before the lad proffered my crackers, beaming. He then proceeded to recommend a couple other brands he thought I might like. And it's not like these guys are obsequious robots - they're all knowledgeable folks who know how to take care of a customer. Here we are with that enablement kid to whom I referred earlier, that we all knew in high school - TJ is mine. Trader Joe's has introduced me to new hummuses and whole wheat crackers, and I'm developing new hors-d'ourvely habits. Trader Joes has exposed me to more things that I want to buy. That's my PCP (hummus). Oh yeah, their wine is awesome for the price. It's often crowded and parking can be a biznatch, but that's not the store's fault. First up, Whole Foods melted my heart by stocking Marmite Then came Harvest with a battalion of Marmite, PG Tips and Ambrosia Trader Joes was lagging... This is quite a nice Trader Joe's. Lots of samples all around. Great seafood to purchase. I wish i lived in this area so much. If I did I would shop here all the time. So many good fresh vegetables,cheese, and salad fixings. Wines, coffee, and many other imported and fabulous foods.
