The savings are amazing and on big trips, we save an average of 25-35% over other stores. We will admit that the store is older and not as big as the newer MBs. It can make shopping a bit challenging, with narrow isles and the constant restocking they have to do to keep up with the volume. But we find the selection, quality and prices more than make up for the challenges. We have read reviews critical of the employees and don't agree, from our experience. Yes, there are many ethnic employees and English may not be their first language, but they have always been friendly, helpful and have gone out of their way many times to help us find something. The deli and meat sections are great at this location with lots of selections and good turnover. The deli is very busy and the wait can be long, but we just take a number and do our other shopping in the meantime. The produce section is OK, but I'm a real stickler on my produce. The bakery is good and we love their pecan/raisin bread (sells out fast) and their fresh Italian bread. We have ordered birthday cakes from them and they are a family favorite. They recently put in a small prepared food section and we always buy a fresh made sub to have for lunch or dinner. It's a great buy and always tasty. As we said in the beginning, this is an older/smaller store and as a result, has some challenges, but the people, management and the value can't be beat. We love the MB family of stores and respect their business philosophies and will do our best to support them with our dollars. You should too.

While moving the line of carts, the employee accidentally struck my vehicle, causing scratches to it. Fortunately, the damage was limited to the bumper only. I believe employees handling large numbers of carts in the parking lot should exercise greater caution to help prevent similar incidents in the future.

Checkout was okay, but no place to eat except for about six tables directly across from the registers. No privacy wall, nothing. I was about 10-25 steps from the bagging area of a register. I think they don't want you to eat in here. Not like WF in the South End or in Bellingham. Odd parking lot and entrance as well. Entered from a side entrance and drive around store to parking lot. Probably not go here again. Place was okay, but not very customer friendly.

I found the steak a bit smaller than what I expected, so I just casually checked the weight with my kitchen scale without thinking too much about it. It turned out that even with packaging, it weighed much less than the printed 0.95lb. I went to the store, talked to customer service, who let me speak with the store manager. The store manager was basically saying "ok I am aware of this" and did not even apologize. What a horrible place. If you think about it, I cannot be the only one being affected by this -- there is either a problem with their scale, or with the process they are labeling the boxes. Either way, there would be at least a few more customers who get incorrect weight on the labels and charged the wrong price. And it could even happen regularly -- who knows? Most of the shoppers probably never bothered to check the weight, or did not came to store to bring up the issue.

I've gotten great service at the fish counter, and I save time shopping by using their self scanner and self checkout. I find Stop & Shop to be more expensive than Market Basket or Shaw's for many comparable items, but their weekly sales are decent and often drive my shopping decisions. It's easy to take an old store like this for granted, with newer Whole Foods, Wegman's, or Trader Joe's nearby, but I'd be very sad if this store ever closed.

The zucchini bread is amazing! Fresh and (as they claim) baked on premises. It really was balanced, soft but not too much so, and not terribly sugary for what I'm used to for an item like this. The meat section could source their meat more judiciously - the chicken wings I got were too large, and the skins on them were too fatty. They were priced well however. The biggest disappointment was that there weren't enough fresh items (for a store called "Fresh Market"). The leafy greens section of the store was fairly sparsely populated. The market should work to find some local producers (or at least closer to MA) and educate shoppers on the importance of fresh vegetables. It's worth seeing how they develop the store once business starts running.

I've always wanted to order one, I think i will this year after reading the reviews. Small dirt parking lot for approx 10 cars maybe? I love driving by this farm everyday and seeing the corn, cows, pigs and occasional turkeys! It's so peaceful and serene. The small lake/pond and rolling hills are like a postcard! Check it out in the fall! From their site: We offer our own grass-fed beef, pastured pork, Thanksgiving turkeys and farm fresh vegetables, as well as our own honey, maple syrup, stone-ground corn meal, firewood, and other products. In the fall, we have pick-your-own pumpkin days. We have several greenhouses, which help us to stay a few steps ahead of Mother Nature.

I don't know where they might be". then I asked the front end supervisor & he also said that's not my area. With some hesitation he went to flower stand, he took a good two minutes and got me a piece of ribbon. I thought I should let the customer service person/manager or know what happened. The manager said she is on a call and she could not hang up. When I went to grab what I purchased, front end supervisor asked me why I am even there. In my opinion this is very poor customer service at Natick Roche Brothers. I will never set my foot again in that store.
