Awesome customer service. I went in with one dishwasher in mind and was shown two dishwashers. I ended up going with the second dishwasher as liked the features much better. I decided to install it myself which was easy enough. Well for the most part. I made a mistake installing the counter brackets. I called them to see if they have replacements brackets as well as a pair of leveling feet. I would think if you worked it the parts department that you would know what I was talking about instead of asking for more of a description about what legs for the dishwasher/ leveling feet were. The reason why I went back to Trail was because I was told (and saw) the everything was under one roof. Parts, service and sales. I ended up searching the internet and found the parts I needed. I will purchase from Trail again and use there service center. I will no longer be using the parts department. read more

Our Fridge and freezer that we've only had for 2 1/2 years carpped out on us. We had to throw everything out. When we called this morning for service, we were told we had to wait a week for service. That is beyond ridiculous, hire more people if you are that busy. When we asked what we were supposed to do for a week without a fridge and freezer, the girl that answered the phone told us "that's not my problem" and hung up on us. Our whole house was bought from Trail, and I will NEVER use them again. I would NEVER hire the service girl that answered the phone either. So instead we called Appliance All Service, and they will be fixing it for us this afternoon. read more

Truly enjoyed my shopping experience at Trail Appliances, the Service was excellent! Sales consultant Karyn is very knowledgeable and professional. Vast array of products in the store to choose from and the prices were great! The items I selected were all in stock and were delivered when promised. I highly recommend everyone steers clear of Trail. We purchased over $10K worth of appliances through them. When they were delivered 3 of our appliances were damaged. It has now been a month and we are still waiting for our stove to be fixed. They were supposed to send someone out to repair it and within less then 24 hours they call us to tell us that they don't have the proper parts to repair. We have now taken 6 days off work for all of these 'repairs' and they refuse to compensate us. Their service is completely garbage. We will be taking further measures and going to troubleshooter so we can help any other customers from the same thing happening to them. read more

I wanted to update my review of May 2, 2017. After posting this review online, I was immediately contacted by Shelly at Trail Appliances. She apologized and assured me that this is not the way they do business. She told me that this case had been discussed in a meeting with management and that the salesperson responsible for the problem had been spoken to. Additionally, they offered to refund a portion of my cost for installation of the appliances. They did so promptly. I appreciated the acknowledgment and apology from Shelly at Trail. Of course my preference would have been to have avoided this situation in the first place. I hope the review will help other shoppers to do so. read more

Bought a new washer at Trail Appliances. Service from start to finish has been superb. Purchased Thursday, delivery Saturday. The delivery men were excellent; efficient, polite, respectful, and careful. The instore service was also seamless with explanations and choices. VERY,displeased with Trail,I ordered a fridge on October 31,2018.They came to deliver it yesterday (delivery window of 10AM-2PM),they showed up at 3:45.AS I was a little upset because I waited around until they got here,so it was not a warm welcome for the delivery guys.They did not like my sour attitude,so they took the fridge back.After waiting all that time,they showed up while I was in the shower.I had left a note on the door telling them I was taking a shower.Little to their knowledge,I have a ring doorbell and it recorded all of their ignorance.I am very thankfull things worked out as they did,as I went over to BEST BUY and was able to purchase the exact fridge,$300 cheaper,YES $300 cheaper.I will NEVER shop Trail again.I suggest future customers shop around before goig to Trail Appliances!! read more

On November 9th called Trail Appliance that our oven wasn't working; repairman came out on November 16th, found the problem and had to order a replacement high temperature wire connection . Its now nearly a month (21 days before Christmas!) and we still haven't got the oven fixed! It would have been quicker to throw out the Brigade Oven and buy a new one within a week. Terrible experience. Bought some appliances less than a month ago. I left a message for a salesperson to call me back. Of course didn't get a callback. I went in person to talk about a price match. Before even listening to my whole story the salesperson goes on to tell me that it is only valid within 20 days. I corrected him and let him know it is 30 days. He went on to say it is not much. $150 is not much? WOW. I bet they would have no problem giving you $300 off just like that on your purchases, huh!! What a joke. Buy your appliances from Lowe's or Home Depot people. They are cheaper on most and you don't have to go thru salesperson who is out to go for a commission and not service. read more

The WORST customer service I have ever experience from any business anywhere! I needed a replacement part for a Bosch dishwasher recall. I had bought from here so I went through them. Although there was no time frame for when the part would be ready, I phoned every three weeks or so to inquire, most often not getting called back. Finally after three months, I called Bosch, to discover they had shipped it, and Trail and received it! two and half months earlier! I called Trail and they claimed first not to have it, then not to have received it. I had the Fedex tracking number so made them check again. After another day with no call back, I finally went in person and talked to the store manager and service manager. Finally they agreed to look into it and call me the next morning. They didn't. I called straight to the service manager, who said she didn't know what happened, but would try to find a part somewhere else. That failed, so she reordered the part from Bosch, saying it would arrive in five days. I asked if they would consider compensating me for the wasted time, effort and water of the past three months. The service manager said she would check with the store manager. After seven days with no call back, I called to find out the part should arrive later that day. It didn't. The truck, which allegedly delivered everyday, did not stop that day. I asked if they knew what had happened to the original part. They didn't. I asked about compensation. She hadn't checked. The part finally arrived the next day. I got a call to confirm. No apology, no mention of compensation. I asked again. She said she would check with the store manager again and he would call me. No call. That was three weeks ago. And finally, installation. I was told the service guy would call between 8-9 in the morning to let me know when he could make it. No call. I called at 9:15. He wasn't in. Supposed to be in by 10:00. Nope. 10:30. Finally, a call and half an hour later the whole painful ordeal was over. Still, no apology, no compensation. I will never shop there again and strongly urge anyone to avoid this place at all costs. read more

Worst experience buying appliances. DO NOT BUY from Trail Appliances. Buying appliances for a business When I went into Trail they had amazing customer service to sell us the product. The store has a great range of products. Left very happy with the service. I talked to the owner of the company and we were ready to purchase the units. When it came to paying for the unit, they wanted us to pay online with a credit card. No problem. Went to do so and tried 3 different times on 3 different computers. When I called in to check on the payment, they told me it did not go through and I would just have to keep trying and that it was an issue on my end and they couldn't help me. I offered to pay with a company check when we came to pick up the unit. No, she told me, that would not work. If I did that, she couldn't release the unit and I would have to come back to pick it up after it had cleared the bank. I asked for a manager, she told me they were in a meeting and I could call back later. I told her, "no, you can get them to call me back" and she replied, "Ill see if a manager will call you back". A manager called me back and re-stated the exact same information that the other lady had said. I asked if it would be easier to open up an account, so that we didn't have to go back and forth into the store 5 times to pick up the appliance. He told me I could not open a business account, because the volume of my purchase was not high enough. The only option he gave me to pay was to purchase the unit meant for company use on a personal credit card at the time of pick up (I'm sure my pick up guy would love putting thousands of dollars on his own personal credit card for us to pay him back after), or to go to my bank and get a bank draft for the amount. Just made no sense for us to have to go to the bank and get a bank draft to pick up appliances, when our company deals on credit all the time. He also would not take the credit card information over the phone. I cancelled the sale and purchased my appliances at Sears, where they carry similar brands and products for comparable products and who want my business and have no problem accepting my payment. I am redoing my personal kitchen this winter and was looking forward to working with trail to get appliances for it. I know that Trail does sell great products and their sales staff are very knowledgeable, but because of the issue with payment, I don't feel they need or want my business, so I will be going elsewhere to purchase my kitchen appliances. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!! We picked out a whole bunch of appliances for a new house and given a quote with the item and price that we are to sign and agreed upon. The salesperson, made a typo a fridge for cheaper. I even mentioned to him that when we were given the quote that I thought it would be more expensive. He said nothing! Me and my boyfriend SIGNED the quote we agreed upon. Later he calls my boyfriend who is at work letting him know he made a mistake and had to pay about $1200 more. Not to mention he was pressuring my boyfriend to sign another contract with the adjusted price. Called Taylor who is the manager and tells me that the best he can do is a $260 and was adamant he cant honour the price. They are really greasy. read more

So GLAD I ignored poor online reviews and headed to Trail Appliances 9880-47 Ave. we had a GREAT experience! Sales Consultant Manav G. was professional, approachable & knowledgable. Understood we needed delivery quickly of our new Maytag Washer/Dryer. He quickly checked earliest delivery date for us and was able to book our purchase for next day delivery ($99). Crystal S. was the administrative assistant who helped finalize our purchase. She was friendly, professional & detail orientated. Walked us through the process quickly so we could enjoy our Friday off work. Delivery was prompt and efficient. Received a call first thing Sat. Morning with a 3 hr window for delivery and received a second call 30 min prior to the trucks arrival. Delivery team was knowledgeable, efficient and approachable. Did notice after the delivery team had left that the dryer rack that was to have come with my new appliance was missing! Not a problem, called Manav left a message, he promptly called me back with the details. The racks were on back order from Whirlpool and I only needed to call the 1-800 number to have it shipped to me. (Manav would have 6+ stars if he had offered to call the 1-800 for me on Monday and arrange delivery of the rack) We will be returning to Trail Appliance South in the future. read more

The worst customer service ever!!! Gave me an idiot of an technician who doesn't have a clue what the hell he's doing. He's been in and out of my place to fix an LG washer/dryer over 9 times. I have been washer/dryerless for over 3 months! Not to mention everytime he comes he's always coming with the wrong part and his excuse is oh they ordered the wrong part.. Well hello your the one who told them exactly which part to order so no they didn't order the wrong part, you just don't know which part you need! Calling trail appliances is also an unpleasant time, they r rude, can never pull up my account properly, takes over a week just to get an appointment, and I have to call them and constantly ask when my new part is in because they never seem to know or call to tell me. They are never sorry for their screw ups nor can they even squeeze me in ever even though I've been waiting for 3 months. Then when they finally have it i have to wait another week or longer just to get the same idiot technician to come over and tell me another excuse. The worst service, the worst technician.. I don't know what else I can say but horrible horrible horrible!! I am now waiting again for a different part to come which will be taking me to 4 months now. Outrageously upset. read more

Stay away from this place for service and installation! Purchased 6 new appliances in December 2019 from Sayed at the south Edmonton store. He was very knowledgeable about the products they sold and a good salesman. We have no complaints against him. But most of the delivery department and the installation department people that we dealt with are unprofessional and incompetent. They did not deliver at the scheduled time that we requested, even though we purchased the items weeks before. And the installation was even worse. The Miele certified dishwasher installer screwed up and cracked a pipe, causing a leak. Then he told us that he had to leave and that we should call a plumber as soon as possible to fix the problem. The hood fan installer screwed up the install and did not complete the job. He told us that we had to buy and adapter part at Home Depot to complete the install. We ended up spending about $1000 extra to hire professionals to finish the installation that we paid Trail Appliances to do! We did not bother trying to get a refund on our installation payments, as we did not want anyone from Trail Appliances anywhere near our home again! read more

zero rating for after sales service... if you care about your money, time and peace... please dont` buy from trail. they sell but dont service even you pay extended warranty. we bought 5 high-end appliances for $8k + extended warranty of four years in around last october 2013. range and fridge malfunction in may 2014 and i am still waiting for right part to come and fix , its over 02 months now. this is a super pathetic service rep in edmonton south, "nothing works and noone cares". i dont understand how they are in business, they should be penalised for mental harrasment and wrongful commitments to customer. p.s. i have never written a review about any product or service so far in my life, but kudos to trail team; they can make any WORST thing happen. read more

beware of Trail Appliances (Edmonton) false assurances and their no return policies. I went to them with a very specific set of needs for an expensive island range hood. They assured me they could get me just the size I needed. After the hood arrived I realized it didn't fit and wasn't the size the Trail appliances guy assured me it was. When I call to tell Trail Appliances that their recommended item did not meet the specification that they said it would, they refused to take it back. In fact they thought it was still in transit and said it would be dumped on our doorstep if we didn't pick it up. This was not a custom item. Our house builder said they've had a lot of problems with Trail recently, and will stop recommending them to clients. We ended up getting all our appliances through Sears and when a similar issue came up with another item they fixed the problem. read more

I bought a Bosch Dishwasher a few years ago the sales people were vary helpful. But now the dishwasher needs to be fixed. I purchased their extended warrenty which will now pay for the repairs. Mid Dec. about the 18th 2008 I was told they needed to order parts.When I called to see how long it would be befoe my dishwasher would be fixed I was told about the middle of February 2009. Trail appliance tells me that they have no contol over the company that holds my extended warrenty which I purchased from them and had assummed that they were the ones providing the service. I had major hand surgery on Dec 16th 2008 and informed Trail of this and they stated they would see what they could do but again they have no control. My family has been eating off paper plates and cups. because I can not wash dishes. No big deal right? But I paid extra $$$$$ to prevent this. So I will be sending my freinds and family to the brick from now on. At least with them my dishwasher would have been fixed by now and xmas diinner would not have tasted like paper and plastic. I would NOT recommend you get anything at Trail Appliance. We have been fighting with them for over a month to honour our warranty on a washer we bought 3 months ago. Now the washer does not work at all and we have to buy a brand new one. Their service is horrible. We have had nothing but trouble since buying appliances with them. We even had a problem the day after they installed our washer (for a fee of course). We called to get it serviced and they charged us! Unbelievable. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CALL THEM: Called in because our dishwasher was making a noise, tech said it was just something rattling around and nothing to worry about but that the sump motor was slowly being stripped so we ordered another one and had it installed. The very next day our dishwasher was spraying so much water from the hose connection at the back of the machine that it leaked through our floor and dripped into the basement. I called in to have someone come rectify the situation and the lady says "sorry they're closed until Tuesday, would you like their voicemail? there's really nothing we can do." So I now have water sitting on my hardwood floor under the dishwasher which I can't clean up because the hose doesn't have any slack. read more

Bought a Samsung washer & dryer 11 months ago. Technician came out and put in new parts that he thought was the problem. Did not test wash machine because it was not hooked up. Would not wait for hook or would not help put it back. Fine. Put machine back and did laundry that night . Machine flooded basement again. Phone them up. Technician comes out again and leaves again before machine is tested. Technician comes out again and I had to tighten bolt on dryer. I asked him to give a bit of a turn to tighten bolt. He said "no I can't". I said he was useless as a technician. He left again. My husband made an agreement I would not be there when the service was booked. He made an appointment and a few days letter he cancelled it. I escalated it to the manager who just phoned and said the service person would not come out to this house. The manager OK'ed this decision of the serve technician. Wow! Since when do tech's dictate to general managers when and whom he services. So I am going to hire an independent service tech, pay for it and never ever stepping foot in Trail Appliance again. The manager manager is a gutless wonder . Starts nicely if you manage to get attention of the sales person. Some do not have a clue about the product, i tell them about it as I do my research at home. They promise match for 30 days, but do not give it. Never go back again. Also the washer did not drain the water giving a different codes. I had discovered that it was a 2"x3" black bag, like a case of some small computer mouse or something else, inserted into the drain bucket at the bottom of the washer. I called Samsung if this thing supposed to be there? - No! After removing this bag my washer started to work fine. It is a mystery who could do it? I think somebody from the Trial that I have to call them to fix my new washer and as did not pay them for the installation, I would have to pay for the house-call and the "fix". read more

Edmonton South - The only thing that makes you more angry than the poor service is the fact they don't care when you tell them about it. Took a vacuum head in because I needed a new part. They said they needed to order it in and asked me to leave it with them and they would call me in a couple of days. I told her I could change the part myself but she asked me to leave it so they made sure they got the right part. 10 days later I phoned to ask what was happening. I phoned for 3 days and left 3 messages and 2 weeks after requesting the part they called me. I went in to pick it up and they charged me 60 dollars labor. The replacing of this part requires removing 3 screws and one plastic cover. Maybe a 5 minute job. I said I would not pay it so after waiting 15 minutes for her to talk to a manager they reduced it to $21. I quote the service girl "we still did labor on it so you have to pay something so are you going to pay it or not" Don't ever expect to get anything you buy from here serviced.
