The park is nice but could have better options for the playground area maybe add a jungle gym

Trailblazer Park is a great find in Lake Mary in Seminole County! It has a cool playground, pavilion with picnic tables, and splash pad. There are a few trees for shade near the playground but the splash pad is mostly in the sun. The splash pad is seasonal and $2 cash per person, is fenced in, and has an attendant. The playground has swings and couple fun climbing structures. The bathrooms are clean and there is a changing table in the women's restroom. We would come back to this nice park again! read more

Took my boys here the day after Thanksgiving to let off some steam and was disappointed there are no slides. It's a great park for climbers... which my oldest is too careful to do. The 2 year old is a bit too young for this park but considering that he only enjoys swinging 90% of the time anyway at least there was that. This park needs a but of an upgrade on some spots of this park. This especially goes for the splash pad... at least a nice paint job. I know Seminole Co. is currently revamping all the parks anyway so I assume they will get to this one soon? read more

I have sentimental feelings towards this park. I used to live in Lake Mary and my two boys grew up going to this park/playground quite frequently. We've taken them to a few birthday parties here to enjoy the splash pad and shaded picnic area, but their FAVORITE part was the large netted climbing structure. I do admit, it is pretty cool. The kids dubbed this, "the Spider-Man park". This isn't by any means a large facility, but it is just big enough to get the job done of entertaining your children. There are bathrooms and vending machines on site. This is connected to the Lake Mary Sports Complex which houses soccer, baseball and softball fields as well. read more

A cool little park in Lake Mary! It's not that large, but it is unique from other parks in that it has a skate park area. It's a nice little concrete area with up/down places to ride. It's not like a full blown swimming pool area, but a tempered down version of that. There's not usually large crowds here so the kids can go have fun skating around it. There are also playground equipment and a fields. It is seated next to a tennis complex as well. Stuff for most people! My sone like to meet his friends here to skate. Doesn't have any slides. I have a 2 year old and 1 year park the park wasn't very fun for them as there's only climbing structures here and my kids are just too young. There's swings but my kiddos don't care to much for swings. read more

Took my son to a different park and he really enjoyed it! He's only 2 years old and I wanted to go somewhere different to explore. Google led me here and it's a little gem in the Lake Mary just nestled in a suburban neighborhood near Lake Mary Prep area. The park itself has a few softball fields, a splash pad and updated play area. It's actually perfect for preschool or school age kids because many of the steps were too far apart for little ones, such as my son. He did enjoy it while he was there, but I recommend a playground area for the little ones. To the very least, offer a small slide. I really like the blue tarp that gave a shaded area above the tables. It makes a great place to have a picnic. I love the fence that surrounds the area. It brings ease to any parent to allow their kid to freely roam. All in all, I plan to visit again to take advantage of the splash pad and maybe bring a few friends. An awesome private and small place to enjoy. read more

If you're looking to get the kids out of the house on spring break then I'd recommend checking this splash pad out. Came by today with a few friends and their children for a quick lunch and fun! To enter the water area the cost is $2 per person. Pretty good for hours of random fun for the kiddies. There is also a play area with swings. Not the most safest play area but with supervision I had no problem with it. Overall, pack a picnic basket and enjoy the sun and splash pad. Will be return in the future with my littles. read more

I tried to go to the zoo but it was bonkers crowded. So I tried to find someplace else nearby where my toddler could have a good time. I found this splash pad. My toddler had a great time. It was not very crowded either. They also have a playground but we did not use that. read more

Trailblazer park is a small little park tucked near Timacuan Country Club in Lake Mary. I sought out this park because it has a splash park, one of several in the area. The park looks like it has an older part with a skate park, tiny playground, ball courts and fields. The newer splash park costs $2 per person to get in and is open from 9am-8pm. The splash pad isn't super big but does have a good mix of jets, misters, and buckets and things to dump water on you. There is a nearby shelter with plenty of tables and behind that a playground. There is a big web-like climbing structure and a small rock formation to climb on. The playground is mostly for bigger kids, in fact the equipment says 5 and up. They actually have a slide that is only about 6 inches wide and was totally useless for my toddler. They have these spinning chairs but one little girl of about 7 got on, started spinning and couldn't get her legs down to stop. She was bawling before her Mom could stop her. I'm looking for a splash pad to host my son's birthday party but this park doesn't rent pavilions: thumbs down. Thumbs down for the playground too. The facility was clean and the splash pad was fun: thumbs up. read more

The kids enjoyed the splash pad and then moved on to the playground. Not much shade on the playground so the jungle gym and all the plastic parts got pretty hot under the sun. Enjoyed the swings and running around in the grass. Beware, ants abound! Small fee to enter the splash pad, so bring some cash. Bathrooms are nearby for changing, etc. read more

We got here super early... first ones to arrive for the day and we could tell if it was open. Turns out they keep the water off til people arrive... makes sense! My daughter loved the splash pad. It's got a lot of running room and plenty of fountains for a toddler. We also made our way over to the swings and she was in heaven... swinging while staring off at her favorite thing... water in the splash pad. Looks like a great place to have a birthday party. Only thing they need to do is pay a bit more attention to the bathrooms. read more

This is a great little park ... half of it anyway :) The splash park is very nice. My daughters thoroughly enjoyed it. The various jets, sprayers, misters, and buckets, makes it lots of fun. The randomness of the water features keeps the kids running around and enjoying it very much. There is a nearby pavilion/shelter nearby with some picnic tables underneath which is a nice "staging" area. It's not super big, but you could fit a dozen or so families underneath to sit relax, or leave a bag. The other half of the park is a play area and rope climbing contraption that is marked for 5 years and up ... but I don't think that is correct. The rope climb contraption seems pretty high and not completely safe for a 5 year old. As I was leaving with my daughters, a family with an 11-month old next to us said the same thing that it did not seem safe for 5-year olds. I see the other comments for Trailblazer Park relay the same sentiment. It's s shame. But the splash park is fun and I definitely will take my girls back! read more

I have taken my daughter here from about 1.5 years old and on. The park is definitely geared towards older kids with the climbing items and everything. There are swings and there is room to run around. Also the splash area is open during the summer time at specific times. You can also have birthday parties in the park as well. Plus its close to the softball fields and the downtown Lake Mary area. read more

The positives of this park is that there is a shaded picnic area, part of the climbing area is shaded and there are swings for all ages. However, with that said, as the mom of a climber, this playground requires a whole lot of diligence. The equipment is marked as 5 and up, but there were 8 and 9 year olds who were getting caught on items high enough that their parents had to help them down. The slide of doom has been removed and in its place is this spinning corkscrew...of doom. My inner twelve year old saw the equipment originally and thought, "hey this place is pretty freaking cool" and then my Mom voice kicked in and said, "holy crap this place is a broken arm waiting to happen". We've never been there when the splash pad has been open so its never been very crowded but I cringe to think of the playground swamped with kids trying to climb on all the ropes and rocks. Definitely put your kid in long pants to climb on the ropes, they easily leave marks on little legs just from climbing. read more

Splash pad is awesome for kids and cheap way to celebrate birthday party of you want. No reservation required you just have to come early to secure table especially on the weekend. It can get crowded some days due to summer camp activities of preschool kids so check the park recreation schedule as they have it on their list what day they come in.
