I feel like most of them pretend to…read moreaspire to a higher calling, but are actually just very ambitious people who want to make the most money possible, working as hard as they can to do as little as they can for anyone but themselves. Call me a cynic! But Dan was great! I'll preface this by saying this was my first time ever having to deal with a lawyer, as well as my first time being the executrix of a deceased family member. I was on guard by default, absolutely without a clue where to start, and had a number of factors complicating the estate.   Dan was incredibly supportive from start to finish. He was easy to reach, often staying at the office very late and sometimes answering my emails on weekends. He made himself very accessible by phone or email, usually getting back to me within hours, and if he could not, he let me know when he would. Absolutely IMPECCABLE communication.  His assistants and front desk staff were all just as easy to communicate with and extremely polite. He also has a printed check list for my type of case that helped me to keep track of what I had to do and when. And his rates were reasonable. He even offers free consults, and he spent (I think) way too much time listening to me yammer away on the phone before I gave him a cent. I mean, what more can you ask for? Dan is also human. A genuinely nice person. After everything was taken care of, we shared a hug and I did NOT burst into flames (like I assume happens with other attorneys). My case was legally straightforward, but emotionally strenuous. Dan rolled with me and supported me in a way that I find only people with heart and an absolutely excellent sense of humor can. I actually like the guy :) Thanks for everything Dan. While I hope it doesn't happen again, if I ever need a lawyer, I know I've already got one.

The only competent attorney I dealt with was conveniently terminated, which should tell you everything you need to know about how this place is run. Her replacement was an arrogant, condescending disaster. He spoke to me like I was an inconvenience, blamed me for issues that were entirely within his responsibility, and showed zero professionalism or basic human decency. I was talked down to, rushed, and pressured into accepting terms I wasn't comfortable with just to get this nightmare over with. Then came the real incompetence. I was explicitly told that the firm would accept service on my behalf -- yet I was still served legal papers at my home residence. Total failure. That alone proves how careless and disorganized they are. It caused unnecessary panic, stress, and chaos because I was falsely reassured everything was "handled." It absolutely was not. And after all of that? They had the audacity to charge my card $3,500 for services that were not rendered. No protection, no execution, no results -- just a bill. Pure incompetence paired with shameless billing. This firm doesn't just "drop the ball" -- they don't even show up to the game. If you value your money, privacy, or sanity, stay far away. There are law firms that actually care about their clients. This is not one of them.
