Located on the bridge over the Prinsengracht (Prince's Canal) which is the third and outermost of the three main canals of Amsterdam. This tram station has a small seating area with some glass that will probably protect you from some of the rain but not if the wind is blowing. It's very exposed, which is normal for Amsteram's tram stops.
There is no ticket vending machine here but there is a sign that will tell you how long you're waiting for the next three trains. This stop services lines 1, 2 and 5 as they head to and from Centraal station, in this part of town along the Leidsestraat.
You will need to board the tram at the appropriate marked doors as two are for getting on and two are for diembarking. The center door has a staffed desk where you can buy a ticket. If you already have a card, scan it at entry (and exit).
