We stayed just down the road from the park entrance, about 2 minute walk, meaning it was a perfect place to relax after the chaos of road works and people hurrying from A to B. The kids loved the green areas where they could run and play but soon discovered the play park where the younger ones had somewhere to play safe away from the bigger kids. A definite must see if you find yourself in Bordeaux and just want to enjoy the beauty of nature.

C'est le parc des Bordelais par excellence, où les effets désastreux de la tempête de l'hiver 1999 s'effacent peu à peu. On aime y passer une après-midi au soleil, au bord de l'énorme pièce d'eau ou allongé dans les immenses prairies.
