The number seven Harrogate us has to be the worst service. I've ever had. It is continually late, and we're not talking a minute to minutes.We can talk twenty minutes or longer. They are trying to train drivers who have no idea where they are going.But have an instructor beside them. The buses may be comfortable, but when it takes you nearly an hour and a half to travel less than five miles is ridiculous. They have only just taken over this franchise.Maybe they should lose it very quickly.Because the service is absolutely a disgusting. I would give it less stars if there was a negative. read more

Your Transdev app is totally user unfriendly. I previously contacted you. Got no reply. This is not good customer service. I travel most weekdays (except Wednesdays) on the X98 between Deighton Rd & Oakwood, Leeds 8. I took some time in writing some constructive suggestions. One was that you should supply some on board printed guidance on how to use your app. I would dearly love to know exactly the procedure for tracking the X98 bus. I also note that various buses leave Wetherby bus station or the stop outside, just as the X98 is pulling in. Thus preventing passengers from making integrated travel. When people make the effort to contact you, it would be courteous to receive a reply. Between 3.00 & 4.00 pm, today, Friday May 31 I tried to contact Transdev on your 0422 phone number. I was invited to leave a message, only to then be told that the message box was full. This is not the first time this has happened. How useless is that? I like the idea of the new app but I prefer the old one so u know what times you gunna be there for getting off to not just showing 1 time and I still can't get used to this new app for the harrogate bus company app but it has helped me a lot thank you for that and wish you guys can make it more understandable to use. read more

Awful service; Attempted to catch the 14:06 coastliner today from pickering Royal Oak, no signs on the stop to say out of use so waited my time only to be told by a passing member of the public that it wasn't stopping their at the moment (again no signs on the stop and no redirection). Walked to second stop to see bus pulling away, then had to wait a further 1 hour and 20 minutes for the next bus to turn up (it turned up 20 minutes late) bus very slow, taking over 3 hours to reach destination of Leeds instead of predicted 2 hours and 22 minutes. So now about 4 and a half hours with no access to toilets, or anything to drink. It takes special effort to make a service this bad, no wonder people have lost faith in the buses. Shockingly rude, aggressive drivers, poor driving, excessive fares even for short distances, some drivers getting fares wrong and overcharging, on occasions refusing to give change. Excessive inflation of fares despite still going cap-in-hand to govt' for extra subsidy. Only run main road routes barely serving outlying areas, all services vastly overcharged. read more

Transdev Harrogate and District - This bus just didnt bother coming into the bus station. While its a stop just drove right by - Harrogate, NYK

My review is based on more than one journey with Yorkshire Coastliner (part of Transdev) and I feel it should be pointed out both Coastliner and Transdev have 5 star reviews (their only 5 star reviews) from their own employees on other sites. In the last few months I can think of at least 5 times drivers have failed to stop at my stop even resulting in a minor ankle injury to myself, I've seen staff smoking illegally on premises, I've been ignored via email by senior staff and had to chase them for responses to reasonable complaints, I've been subjected to prolonged waits while investigations are failed to be completed in good time and I've been subjected to overhearing disgusting language, I've been delayed by a driver forgetting their work equipment and unable to legally drive and I've had to wait 3 weeks for a broken contract of sale to be suitably rectified. Oh and I've waited 2 weeks for a subject access request form to be issued And this is with me for the last few months making the conscious effort to avoid Yorkshire Coastliner Bus Company wherever possible, I get a lift to work with a colleague who starts before me so I now start 30 mins early unpaid rather than chance their morning service and then the issue of coming home and the fact that I live next to an obvious problem stop with many drivers being completely uneducated about the stops on the route and then being rude and obstructive when I voice complaint to a walk down unlit streets as they have not let me off until the next stop (some 10 min walk away) I've used a lot of public transport. This is by far the worst. The one shame is for the VERY small amount of honest, open, friendly and pleasant staff.... I feel for you, I really do. read more

BUS DRIVER STOLE MY PHONE, and i was blatantly lied to by depo office, will never ever use again , was a private rental of a bus , no other public on there and my phone goes missing, was originally told the bus (after dropping our party off) was sat in the depo and wouldn't be out until monday , then 2 days later when i rang back to check was told the bus had been out on service all weekend and a member of the public must of found it ....... cctv was apparently viewed and showed the driver taking a silver "empty beer can" off the bus ( my phone is a large silver phone ) and no one was drinking on the bus ......but they wouldn't let me see it , then i check google phone finder and someone was on my phone the following morning an 1.17am ..... the driver finished at 1 !! not rocket science really is it read more
