Kevin Truebenbach's seminars about Medicare and the twists and turns that come into play when old people have to make decisions about their health care are, dare I say it, just what the doctor ordered. Simple, clear, spot-on accurate, and without vendor bias, he covers what you need to know about what's in your self-interest when you have to spend money on health care. I loved his plain language, easy-to-read slides and his energetic delivery--heck, if you don't even want insurance you should attend, you'll leave feeling invigorated! But he never wavers from the seriousness of the message--health care is nothing to guess at or set aside for later--bad choices can destroy your future. I'm an old codger who really appreciated what Kevin and Transition Health Benefits had to say at theses enrollment period seminars. Do yourself a favor--go and listen. First of all, I want to say I have never had better service in my life with any Health Insurance Agent as I have had with Tom Griesman. Not only is he prompt in returning my messages and answering my questions before I age another year, he goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything runs smoothly. This takes the pressure off many of us that do not understand how to maneuver "The Health Care System" as it stands today. I knew of Transition Health Benefits through our broker at work but never had the chance to use them. I knew it was a free service and they could help with any transition - either moving to Medicare or looking for insurance in between jobs. I suddenly had a need for both. I was deciding to quit my job and take some time off so not only need to find reasonable Health Insurance for myself, but decided it was a good time to move my husband to Medicare. Insurance to me is such a foreign language. So thank goodness for Sue Vermey being the translator that she is! After a 35 year career and COBRA (high costs!) expiring I reached out to THB and Sue in 2020. Sue Vermey literally saved me during this hectic open enrollment period. I had filled out the application wrong and wasn't able to get my current coverage. Which would mean I would have to switch psychiatrists and none of my important medications would be covered. Very stressful. One call to Sue Vermey and she it her priority to redo and resubmit my application for me, even though I know she must have been very busy with the many other clients as this is her busy season. By doing this I was able to keep my existing coverage, doctors, and meds which saved me a LOT of stress. This wasn't the first time she saved my hide.
