Decided to give this a try as an outing with some friends from work. I was very skeptical at first but curious because I had seen the movie escape room that had recently come out in the movies a couple of months ago. The entry fee was $25 per person upon arrival they make you sign a waiver and they explain to you the rules and instructions really well. They also ask the level of difficulty you prefer and what entails each level. They divide you up evenly depending on the room. There are four rooms: Outbreak, Mission Moscow, TAKEN and cell block X. Some rooms you start off blindfolded but we decided not to do that lol and went with Cell block X: Scenario was this: The year is 1954. You've been wrongfully accused of a crime, and sentenced to execution by the electric chair. While you wait on death row you start to find clues in your cell of previous wrongfully accused victims. Turns out the warden has been executing innocent people for the last few years. Can you escape before he puts you down like the other inmates? It was so thrilling and exciting we lost a lot of time on the first couple of rooms and the person that worked there did give us a couple of clues. However we didn't escape lol BUT it was extremely fun! I would highly recommend it! Definitely planning on going again! Staff member said they are working on doing other rooms! :)

Played it with a friend. We ran out of time on the last clue.

Came here with a friend. We previously tried a puzzle room in Orlando and really enjoyed it, so we decided to also give this one a try. In Orlando, the establishment grouped us with 5 other people and we escaped, but no one else signed up for our time slot here, so we took on the room on our own. We did the kidnaped scenario. The game master took pity on us, probably because we didn't have a group and had asked for a medium skill level game, and gave us clues throughout. But we still didn't make it out. Womp womp. We were on our last clue when time ran out. It was still really fun though. They take your picture and give you a sticker afterward. I plan to go back and do one of their other rooms, but I'll be sure to take an actual group next time around. It's more fun and feasible that way.

    We escaped cell block x!

Highly recommend this place! It's a fun way to get your brain working. My friends and I have tried taken and cell block x and both were extremely fun. Would definitely do it again! We always have a blast and the staff is amazing!

My husband and I attended for my birthday earlier this week and it was such a fun and exciting experience. Unfortunately we didn't escape in the hour but we had a blast the entire time. We will definitely be returning and making it a family affair!!

Such a great time RGV Trapped!!!
