Just revisited again this weekend and did not disappoint. Had a wonderful server who spent lots of time giving us his thoughts on local bbq and his techniques on bbq smoking Texas style. The food was again wonderful and we went this time with a couple who recommended the eggplant appetizer am which was by blade the best I've had. Smothered in rich tomato sauce with the eggplant thinly sliced and rolled around ricotta it just melts in your mouth. We also expanded our selections and tried the squid ink pasta with frutte di mare and the risotto with the same seafood accompaniment. I subbed out the risotto for linguine and both were filled with plenty of seafood varieties and a generous portion. Highly recommend the two. We also had the veal which is a consistent winner for my friend who has been here many times. Won't drone on but this is a solid Italian destination if you are in the area!

My favorite special occasion restaurant. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I came in on a Sunday around 6pm without a reservation and got seated immediately. They provide complimentary bread and oil. I had the Filetto Al Speck. The steak was super tender, the speck (Italian bacon) added a special touch. My boyfriend got the rib eye special, he enjoyed it. I got the scallops over risotto last time and it also was really delicious. The entrees are really filling. Service was great too!

We were meeting some friends to celebrate my birthday and needed someplace cozy with great food and wine. Given that it had been a lovely sunny day, I made the reservation I had requested an outdoor seat, so when I arrived last night on a blustery rainy Friday evening, I was concerned, but the outdoor set up there was exquisite with a clever use of LED lights and no shortage of heaters and candles. Our server Chris made the whole evening delightful. He was attentive and had great insight around the menu the wine and kept the whole evening flowing perfectly. I don't eat pasta often, but the dishes and the quality there makes it worth it. I also want to call out their excellent seafood selection (on a healthy note.) But I would be lying if I said my favorite part of the menu wasn't the tiramisu in a glass, a.k.a. the chocolate martini. I highly urge you to try (and then make it one of your regular places.)

My husband and I took our parents here for my MIL's birthday. The restaurant itself is surprisingly quite loud and dark inside-- we had to use our phone flashlights to read the menu and had to really yell across the table to have a conversation. Service was great, we were given complimentary dinner rolls and dip for the table. For appetizers we got the burrata that came atop a bed of arugula and cherry tomatoes. My FIL ordered the branzino, MIL got the seafood risotto, and my husband and i got the mushroom risotto and mushroom tortellini. The seafood risotto looked wonderful and came with so much seafood on top, clams, mussels, fish, shrimp, and calamari. The pasta was delicious but the mushroom risotto I thought lacked flavor. It was very beef broth heavy and only had two mushrooms in it. Overall our dining experience was pretty good, We just wish it wasn't so noisy. Food and ambiance was pretty good, and it was very sweet of the kitchen to give us a dessert with a candle for my MIL. It was a cantaloupe flavored pannacotta and it was SO DELICIOUS AND REFRESHING. It even had pieces of real fruit in it. Highly recommend

I asked my friend to eat someone fancy, and this place was! A great place to elevate a date, or celebrate something special. 4 stars instead of 5 because the appetizers were not big enough in my opinion for two people. But whatever that dressing was on the arugula was SO good! I ordered the lamb and it was so tender and juicy. That was a pretty big entree, which I appreciated! I would try something else next time though. The bathroom might need a little bit of an upgrade but it's still clean and usable .

Our first time here for dinner on a Friday night. The place was bustling so I recommend making a reservation. We got the special of the day - the Prime rib. It was perfectly done medium rare and came with mashed potato, veggies, horse radish and au jus. We also had the Tagliolini Neri Alla Pescatore which was delicious. The portions were sufficient and the service was good and relatively fast. We got a complimentary melon panna cota for our anniversary, which was excellent as well. Overall a 5/5 if you're looking for Italian cuisine in Campbell downtown.

All the food was amazing. We went on v day and the place was packed. First time at the place and rlly enjoyed the food. The vibe was great, food was good, tables were a bit tiny, and the service was a bit slow. but we would come back again to try other foods. The food was also rlly big portions . Gave me a rose afterwards which was sweet.

Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday, she had been here a couple of times, and I'd heard of and been wanting to come for quite a while, so it was the perfect occasion. We made a reservation and noted that it was her birthday on it, and our server made sure to make her feel special! We started with one of the specials of the night, prosciutto wrapped prawns, which were served with an arugula salad and a slightly spicy sauce. This was a hit at the table. For pasta I got the Mafaldine Tirolese, my mom the Short rib tortelloni - which was also a special, and my boyfriend the Mafaldine Calabrese. My mom absolutely loved her dish and said she'd order it again. Neither my boyfriend or I loved our dishes, though I did like his better than mine. The food was good but I'd get an entree and not a pasta next time. For dessert we go the tiramisu, chocolate mousse, and pistachio panna cotta. Each of of us had a different favorite, with the chocolate mousse being the shining star for me. It was beyond delicious and I would absolutely get it agian. Great service and ambiance, just didn't love the pastas. Would still come back and give it another shot, or at least come back for dessert!

This is a delicious, elevated Italian restaurant in Campbell with wonderful fresh pasta and a comfortable yet sophisticated ambiance. We started off with 3 entrees and finished with the tiramisu for dessert. Let's talk about the food: 1. Fillet mignon was ordered medium rare but came out more cooked than we liked. Even so, it was tender and smooth. We didn't have any chewiness or grittiness in the bites. 2. The lobster pasta was a tomato-ey in a great way and the pasta was cooked well. 3. The malfadine with shrimp was lacking a bit of flavor in the pasta. The shrimp were sized well and were juicy but the pasta itself did not have flavor. I'd skip the Tiramisu although it wasn't bad! Service was friendly and unpretentious. Overall, solid restaurant for birthday or special occasion.

    Burrata Casareccia

Items ordered: Burrata Casareccia (Fresh Burrata Cheese served with Tomato, Basil & Arugula) Polenta con Formaggio Fuso (Polenta, Melted Italian Cheese, Asparagus, Truffle Caviar Perlage) Cozze Al Pepe (Steamed Mediterranean Mussels, Garlic, Pepper, Chili Flake, Basil, White Wine Marinara, served with Toast) Tagliolini Carbonara (Tagliolini with Egg, Parmesan, Pancetta, Black Pepper) Mafaldine Calabrese (Mafaldine pasta, Blackened Prawns, Calabrese Chili, Porcini Mushrooms, Arugula, Garlic with white wine) Trattoria 360 is a place that we have been to many times before and generally probably our favorite Italian restaurant in the south bay. Tonight we were celebrating Kiki's birthday. In Chinese tradition, you eat noodles on your birthday, with the very long length of the noodles signifying the hope to live a long life. Instead of Chinese, we decided to still go with noodles, but pasta style. The restaurant is in the heart of Campbell downtown. We visited early evening on a Sunday, and we were the first in the restaurant. The service was generally excellent. The food was still really good, but not up to the previous heights that we were used to. My favorite dish here previously was the mussels. I remember that what separated their mussels from a very similar dish in other restaurants was two things: 1) their mussels were really plump and fresh and 2) their sauce was a delicate balance of light, tangy, spicy, and flavorful. This time around, the mussels were fine, but the sauce had completely changed, to a very heavy tomato-based sauce. The two main descriptions for the sauce would be sweet and sour. Gone were the several layers of flavor that the dish used to have. We had two other appetizers, a burrata with a small arugula salad, and a polenta dish. The burrata was fine, but pretty firm. I'm not expert on Italian cheeses, but to me it ate more like a mozzarella than a burrata. Usually, the best part of burrata to me is the liquidy center which is neither firm nor runny. This burrata was definitely very firm in the center. The polenta was really good, especially the (deliberately) burned asparagus. But I couldn't help wondering just how much butter and cheese was in it, because eating it basically felt like eating parmesan and butter with more solid textures. The stars of the evening were the fresh pastas. I didn't even get to taste the carbonara, as our two daughters (including the birthday girl) mostly divided it up. But they absolutely devoured the dish, and it looked very good. The adults ate the mafaldine, which was a little more spicy. The shrimp that accompanied the dish were big red Argentine ones, and they were preparedly very well. The pasta itself was perfect. It was the right level of al dente, with real bite and chewiness. It tasted very fresh. And the sauce was nice and not too salty. This is, ultimately, what we came for, and we weren't disappointed. Because we were celebrating my daughter's birthday, we were treated to a comp'd panna cotta flavored like cantaloupe melon. This was extremely good. I had never had a dessert flavored like cantaloupe before. I was stunned at how much cantaloupe flavor they got into it (and I could also taste small bits of actual melon). For an old standby, this restaurant lived mostly up to expectations. Their food is executed at a very high level, and their service was top notch.

Nice Italian spot in downtown Campbell. It was busy on a Friday evening and highly recommend reservations. They do have a large outside patio as well. Service was attentive and started with complimentary bread and olive oil. So good we had to get a second basket. It paired nicely with our appetizer of burrata casareccia which was very yummy. I am a huge fan of mafaldine and the Mafaldine Tirolese was prepared very nicely. Pasta was a perfect al dente, handmade, and the combination of speck, walnuts, mushroom, cheese and creamy sauce was very good. Panna cotta is my favorite so had to order the pistachio panna cotta. It felt the panna cotta was overcooked as it was a bit too firm compared to other panna cottas that have a more softer and creamy texture. Overall a really great restaurant though it can get a bit loud as it's a smaller space with not a whole lot of space in between the tables.

    Carpaccio alla Valtellinese
    Samuel C.

We saw how many good reviews this place had so it became high on the list to try. The service was welcoming, accommodating, and quick. Outdoor patio was a bit small but had a fine ambiance, nothing special. With top prices for pretty much everything, we were hoping the food would deliver in flavor, and it definitely did. The Cozze Al Pepe had a really fresh taste and the broth underneath was filled with a lovely tomato sauce. The Carpaccio alla valtellinese was a memorable dish, the capes and lemon with the arugula garnish really worked well complimenting the flavor of the meat. Overall a quality restaurant you'll pay the price at, but the dishes are a good food experience.

    Risotto fruti di mare

Another amazing dining experience. Made same day reservations online for a seat inside. We arrived and were given our choice of tables. Choose a lovely one by the window. We ordered: Risotto frutti di mare: 5/5 I am not a big seafood fan but this was delicious! Risotto with scallops: 5/5 big scallops cooked to perfection. Loved the saffron rice. Branzino: 5/5 perfect too! Rollini: 3/5 Humm not what I remembered this eggplant dish to be. This was 90% cheese this time. Overpowering. Tiramisu: 2/5 super duper sweet. So much cream on top. Vanilla pana cotta: 4/5 complimentary birthday dessert. Sweet! Great service, lovely setting, delicious food! Love this place!

To be honest, when I opened the menu, I thought the price was a bit on the high side, and didn't expect to like it in the "worth it" scale. But hey, for a higher price, they better deliver on the food quality! It most certainly disappoint. The food was amazing. Got the Linguini Fruti Di Mare, the seafood was good quality, the cioppino sauce was intense. It truly is the boss of the sauce. Also ordered the Chicken Marsala, I'm always cautious before ordering because the marsala wine can easily become overwhelming, or the sauce is too sour, or the chicken is tough and dry. I did not hit any of those, but rather, what I got was a few silky smooth and tender pieces of flattened chicken breasts, that is moist and flavorful. The sauce is great too, not to mention the mushroom, that is so fresh and flavorful on its own. Last but not least, their attention to detail went all the way to mashed potato and steamed vegetables. It was truly one of the best. Did I mention the free, fresh baked foccacia? It's among the top 3 I've had in any restaurants, ever. At the end, even it pinches my wallet a bit, it was well worth it. Sorelle is a small restaurant, upon entering, it has a square room and you get to see everything at one glance. It's not fancy on decorations, more like a neighborly place and the customers look like so too, families and large groups on a random day, you don't need to dress up to eat in this place. The 2 page menu has appetizers, salad, pizza, pasta, and 3 entree dishes. Desserts are printed on a separate sheet, there are a variety of choices but a tad too expensive for my wallet. We ordered the Ravioli a la Teresa with cheese and pesto cream sauce, and their signature Sorelle Short Rib Bolognese. After ordering, we were given free bread for the table. The bread had herbs on top and the dipping sauce is olive oil with fried and then mashed soft garlic. The bread looked nothing special, but once I touched it, I was delighted to find out that they were warm and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. It took a bit of wait for our food to came, I think it meant they were freshly cooked. The portions were big. Once laying down our food, the lady came with a big bowl of cheese and helped us sprinkle on top. It looks amazing with the cheese on top, like snow flakes melting on. I am so impressed with my short rib bolognese. The piece of short rib was sumptuous, a whole piece, resting on top of the pasta that is covered in meat sauce. The meat itself was so soft that it was super easy to tear off and just melts in my mouth. Flavorful and soft and juicy, super yummy! The pasta is cooked el dente, and each bite there's a bit of ground meat coated on the ziti pasta from the bolognese sauce. Very satisfying! I had a bite of the ravioli and these huge dumplings are covered in fresh pesto sauce and very cheesy inside. Although I was a bit confused on the difference between a pesto sauce and a pesto cream. I felt like the sauce was more pesto but we ordered pesto cream. Anyhow, it tasted good but I prefer my short rib bolognese more. Bus boy service is fast and responsive. We had a very enjoyable meal.

The food looked good, but my date and I didn't get a chance to try it. I live in the area and have always seen this place when going past. It looked cool and since it had such great yelp review, I thought tonight would be a good time to try it out. Just got out from a comedy show and we arrived at 9:10pm - it says they close at 10pm so we should be ok right? We only wanted to stop in, get a drink or two, and maybe 1-2 apps. After being greeted by the host, who was very nice, we told her that we just wanted to sit at the bar and get a drink and maybe a couple apps. She said "great!" with a big smile and led us there. While being led there I noted that the place had really cool decor and lighting, felt very cozy and italian. This is where it switched from a nice experience into a really quite bad one. As soon as we sat at the bar we felt unwelcome. There was a bartender there, middle-aged man with glasses and longish shaggy black hair that immediately gave us a "mean mug" type look. "That's strange..." I thought to myself. He did not greet us and seemed pre-occupied with closing the bar, wrapping up the beer spigots etc. The vibe was totally off, we are unwanted it seems. We sat there for maybe 1-2 minutes until he finally turned to us and said "Are you guys waiting for someone?" "We just want a menu" my date replied. "The restaurant is closed" he said, in quite a brusk and rude tone. I looked at my watch. It was 9:15pm. "But it says you guys close at 10pm, is that not the case?" I piped up. "No." he said, shaking his head. He turned his back to us. At this point I thought, lets go to a place that wants our money. I work with customers in my day job and would never be able to interact with a customer in the way he did. Honestly, if you're that way with customers I feel you're more suited to a warehouse job than you are working a bar. "We're not wanted here, lets leave" I said to my date. We got up and left. With people working like that working at their restaurant - save your money and go to some place else with good service. If the bar itself was closed, fine, offer us a table or something. Be nice about it. Instead we got quite rude (non)service. Again, the host was nice, keep her. But buyer beware - if you come during the last hour expect to be treated like you're unwanted garbage from unfriendly bartenders. Maybe update your hours if you "actually" close 50 minutes before it says you do?

The carbonara was amazing--served super hot with great flavor and a solid amount of meat. Easily a 10/10. One tip though: eat it while it's hot, because once it cools down, it's not quite the same. The seafood pasta was also a standout. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were on point, and it felt surprisingly light for a pasta dish. You know how pasta can sometimes feel heavy? This didn't have that at all. Another 10/10. The pesto pasta (a special that day) was just okay for me. It leaned a bit too oily, and the pesto flavor didn't really come through. They added ricotta, which kind of overpowered everything else. I did like the portion and the amount of meat, but overall I'd give it a 7/10. The ambiance was decent--nothing too special, but clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. It felt like a family-run place--three brothers along with their wives and kids--and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations and even helped accommodate my mom by seating us closer to the bathroom, which I really appreciated. Just a heads up: it's in downtown Los Gatos, so parking can be a bit tricky since there's no private lot. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place. The portions and quality justify the price, and it stands out as one of the better Italian spots in the Bay Area.

Celebrated my bf's birthday here on a Thursday night. I read great reviews about this place, specifically the steak, so took the gamble and booked reservations. It is a Michelin recognized restaurant so had high expectations and wow were they exceeded ! We were running late and so gave a call to see if we can still be accommodated which was no issue at all or rush. Upon arrival we were greeted with a happy birthday and welcomed with a delicious, homey, & warm chicken broth to start our visit. Hostess then guided us to our table and on the walk you see the candy table and the beautiful open kitchen. Ambience is fine dining meets modern day with beautiful shades of blue with just enough dim lighting to make it intimate for your table. Volume decent enough to have conversation. When we sat there was already a birthday card and my bf was very happy and excited. It included a bday card with staff signatures and a $2 bill - it was so cute! Our server was Aaron who was outstanding. He had great suggestions without being pushy and was very honest on recommendations. He listened to our requests and guided us with a delicious meal based on our preferences. We also were not rushed during the whole dining experience - the timing between getting orders and checking in was perfect. We had enough time to finish each meal without scarfing ourselves or crowding our table with other food. & there was never a wait for service. This we really appreciated and found unique to our dining experience. Staff also were quick to provide refills. To the food ! We were given complimentary vegetable crudite - seasonal fresh cooled veggies and a flavor bomb of a dip ! Cream cheese, white miso, garlic, & other stuff. Who would've thought simple veggies can be yummy. Next our drinks came in and we had time to sip and look at the menu. Delicious schramsberg wine which is now my fave and apparently can get bottomless during their brunch buffett ! We ordered the trio of bread, all of which were delicious, but wow the rolls ! Soft, warm & fluffy. Then got the ravioli verde, ribeye, & pork fried rice. Originally wasn't going to get the fried rice but Aaron recommended it and I am so glad he did. I could've just ate that for my meal and been satisfied. It was savory, crispy & very flavorful. Italian American meets Asian flavors without being overwhelming. The ribeye medium rare cooked to perfection and perfectly paired with the "funky onions" & demi. We had everything on the side. Steak was a good quality and tasty steak, but with the onions and demi that's where it shined and separated itself from other high quality steaks. It was delicious with the rice. Ravioli was tasty as a pre-meal and glad I swapped to it bc we did order pretty heavy. Prob one of the best steaks we had. And we are steak eaters ! My bf tied it with his #1 steakhouse. Overall all the food was more than enough for the two of us to share. Then ofc ended our night with the table flambé sticky toffee pudding which was immaculate! I will say the caramel was either over cooked or too much alcohol bc there was a bitter taste towards the end. But the dulce de leche ice cream helped balance the bitterness. We also got a complimentary s'mores ice cream cake for the bday ! It was yummy, but too sweet with the marshmallow but again the chocolate and cherries created balance. 5/5 star review I am so looking forward to dining again. I definitely believe that they deserve a Michelin star if that's what they are aiming for. We do plan to try out their brunch buffet one day. Shout out to the whole staff for making this a memorable experience and a 10/10 birthday celebration! We will be back !

Where do I even begin to start about brunch at Be.Steak.A. This is indeed a special dining…read moreexperience. My bestie and I came here for their all you can eat buffet brunch on Mother's Day. We started out with complimentary glasses of Prosecco and sparkling cider while we waited to be seated. There was a little delay in getting our table, but it wasn't really a problem because we were chatting and enjoying the drinks. Before we entered, they had a floral photo wall where we took a photo together to memorialize the experience. And when we sat at the table, they had placed a lovely Mother's Day card on the table signed by the staff. The decor at Be.Steak.A is modern and feels very upscale. I think the bathrooms say a lot about a restaurant's attention to detail, and the bathrooms at Be.Steak.A were elevated - essential oil infused salt scrub to wash your hands, bidets, etc. The brunch buffet is just as described - hot items and pastries in the kitchen (so cool), a caviar bar outside, a separate station for cold seafood, another station for fruit and charcuterie, and then assorted desserts on the bar. The food was excellent. We started with the caviar -- the options and accouterments were plentiful and delicious. The caviar bar was so fun and felt luxurious. This was one of the highlights of the whole experience for me. For the other seafood, we enjoyed oysters, shrimp, crab legs, and other little seafood dishes, which unfortunately weren't labeled, so we didn't always know what we were eating. My friend had some dietary restrictions she was concerned about, so that was a little frustrating for her. But my favorite bite of the entire day was one of those unmarked seafood dishes- I wish I could tell you what it was -I think it was possibly squid. But it was so fresh and flavorful. Yum! The hot food in the kitchen was a neat experience. They had skewers and prime rib and many other dishes to choose from. I kept coming back to the seafood skewers. We were a little bummed that the beef Wellington was just gone when we entered the kitchen. There was still about another hour and a half of brunch service left so that was a disappointment for us. They also had numerous pasties and this amazing bread pudding that I drizzled a Nutella sauce over and added some strawberries to. This was probably my third favorite bite of the day (after the little seafood dish and the caviar experience). I'd be remiss if I didn't give the truffled deviled eggs from the charcuterie area a shout out. These were so good we kept going back for more. The desserts were good but a number of them were a little dry, I have to say. Surprisingly, my favorite was a little passionfruit tart that had just the right amount of sweetness. I'm usually a chocolate kinda gal but there weren't that many chocolate options, I have to say. A few other things- our server was lovely and gave us a lay of the land to start. She made sure we had any drinks we wanted and plenty of extra silverware. While there just aren't as many touch points with a server at a buffet, the interactions we did have were very positive. And even though I was disappointed that they ran out of the Beef Wellington, I was so impressed with how they kept replenishing and refilling the other dishes right up to the end of the buffet. This was an incredible dining experience. I'd highly recommend this brunch buffet experience for special occasions. I'm looking forward to dining here for dinner in the not so distant future!
