Horrible food, I really thought you can't have a bad meal in Italy. Well apparently you can. I order the Caprese, the tomatoes were hard, no flavor. The mozzarella was slimy I found a hair on the plate. But I figured I was being a snob, so decided to just return it since I barley ate 1/2 a tomato and a slice of mozzarella. I then ordered a Peroni with a zuppa di cozze. Big mistake the cozze were small, shriveled and tasteless.
If it wasn't for the soup they would have been bland. Then I noticed a bug in my Peroni. When my bill came It was a total of 30 Euros'...I really thought they would have at least removed the Caprese salad, since I barely touched it. Nope, they made me pay for it. When I asked why was I paying for something I didn't eat, their response was they couldn't sell it to anyone else. Really I'm thinking, you would sell this to someone else?
Needless, to say I paid but wanted to warn anyone and everyone that goes to Venice stay away from this place. Their recommendations on Facebook is clearly made by friends with 5 stars and the tourists all gave them a 1. read more
