We wound up ordering some ravioli variation at every dinner while we were in Italy. We also ordered Gnocchi Funghi, which had chanterelle and porcini mushrooms in a seasoned cream sauce. The gnocchi in this region is smaller and deeply flavored, not the usual unseasoned potato-based lumps one sees in the USA. The service here was impeccable. Due to an insignificant problem, the waiter effusively apologized and brought us free appetizers. I disagree with Yelp's €€€ rating. We spent about 25€ each, including wine. Perhaps others did what the table next to us did - ordered appetizers, primis, and secundis - which is WAY too much food.

They also tended to stick together the longer it took me to eat, which led to a lot of "spillage" when I tried to pry the pieces apart. My husband also liked his bigoli, but said that the flavor of the duck was a little overpowering, and made it hard to finish. Make no mistake - he did finish his dish, plus what was left of mine - but he said he ate mine to cleanse his palate of the "duck overload." Even with all that, we couldn't get away without dessert, now could we? In the end, we decided we needed the Tiramisù al Pistacchio (€7) - one for each of us - when it was definitely large enough for two. The flavor here was good, but it felt like the dessert had been sitting out for a while; the topping was waxy and a bit hard, and the cakes were overly-saturated. While this wasn't our favorite restaurant of the bunch, it was still a good spot. Tucked away, and bigger on the inside than you'd expect. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we left feeling full and ready for the rest of the day.
