Had a fabulous meal here! There are several great Italian restaurants in Munich that I discovered. Munich I guess is known as the most northern most Italian city! This restaurant is located in Schwabing-West right on the same street that my family members live on. I had their spaghetti all pomodoro and it was excellent! The tomato sauce had a great flavor and the basil was very fresh too. Normally I'd order a red wine when eating Italian food but my friends ordered bier so I did as well. I had a delicious weisse bier. On a side note--I'm not even a huge bier drinker but I drank more in Germany than usual as it's so good and cheap! Bier is cheaper than Wasser (water). My sister and brother in law enjoyed their meals too. This is one of their regular restaurants they frequent. They did mess up on my bro in laws entree, it arrived after we had finished eating but I'm going to overlook that. We split their tiramisu and it was some of the best tiramisu that I've ever had! There is both indoor and outdoor seating but since it was a cooler night we sat inside. They have a cute dog that hangs out there too. Dogs are treated differently in Germany than in the US I discovered. It's not uncommon for dogs to go into restaurants and shops and hangout. Almost all the dogs I saw were not on a leash either! Dogs are more well behaved in Germany! (Noticed that to a lesser degree in Hungary too, It's an interesting subject to read up on)! read more

Absolute quaint restaurant. The atmosphere was so jovial and friendly. Lots of people really enjoying themselves. I came here by myself. Everyone speaks Italian and German. I arrived on a Friday alone. The place was full of life and full of people. I sat at the bar. I don't that it's really intended for service but they were full and between my broken Italian, some English and almost no German this was all I could manage. I had a glass of delicious red wine and spaghetti bolognese. It was so flavorful!!! Nothing fancy just spectacular taste. My bill was less than 20 EU. I might go back. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the wine was great and their pizza looked great. read more

Good enough . We had the avocado soufflé which was cheesy and warm, not much avocado flavor but yummy. My double seafood special was sole and prawns. Be warned the prawns come with heads and tails still on them. I will say the prawns had some grit them which is why I gave it 3 instead of 4 stars. My friend had the truffle and mushroom pizza very good! Service was attentive. read more

Went to dinner with a large group of family. We all ordered something different, and no one was disappointed. My spouse and I enjoyed a Pizza Foccacia with Basil, Prosetto, and tomatoes on a thick chewy crust, way too big to finish, and a Filetto Orata, a salmon like fish with avocado slices and thin slices of Zucchini with potato, bell pepper, and carrot all grilled to perfection. The Dark beer and apple juice with bubbly water was a very reasonable price, large beer was only 3.90 Euro! The food was so well presented and tasted so good, plus there were so many other tasty looking choices for our next visit. The calzone was enjoyed by another one of us, plus a squid spagetti dish, and a egg plant in a ravioli like pocket was also delicious.
