Excellent small family run restaurant. We stopped there for lunch after visiting the castle on a Sunday afternoon. Each of us ordered a pasta dish (all were excellent) and we also tried the traditional prosciutto and melon. Another excellent dish. I can also recommend the meatballs (3 very tasty and clearly no fillers).
The owner wanted us (and just about everyone else having lunch) to try their signature dessert. It was called Cestino "Mille e una notte", which I think means basket of 1001 nights. Anyway, it was like a cannoli shell with mascarpone cream, and chocolate sprinkled on top. Yummy.
Wonderful place with outside seating right below the castle in a square with paid parking available in the square. read more
